You get what you pay for, and I knew that going in. The negatives for me were:a) at 7:30 a.m. there was a gas powered leaf blower literally seven feet from my head. The grounds crew came way too early and had several people leaf blowing at the same time. One personally serenaded me from right outside my window.b) The walls are really thin. My room was right by the stairs and I heard the sultry sounds of people clomping up and down the wooden stairs all night longc) The exterior door was right by my room. It's designed to make a loud, complex crashing sound whenever someone enters or exits just to ensure that no unauthorized sleeping is occurring nearby.d) I'm tall, but they gave me a handicapped room, without discussing it with me. I hate that Marriott doesn't have a way in the app to request NO handicapped room.

Facilities are fine. Located right across from a street that has a lot of old RVs lined up on the street with homeless people milling around. The girl at the front desk was terribly unfriendly and not helpful when I asked about an area we wanted to go to for

Great stay, great price. A few things could be done better however those things weren’t a huge issue to my overall satisfaction with our stay. I would definitely stay here again. The location is great. Easy freeway access. We were within a 10 minute drive to Winchester Mystery House, Santana Row, Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, grocery stores and restaurants.Check in and check out was easy. Though there wasn’t always someone at the check in desk. I walked in twice after check in, once to request something for our room and lastly for check out. Those two times no one was at the desk I had to say “Hello?” to alert a staff member that I was there. I think there should be someone at the desk at all times to greet anyone who comes in.The room was great, it was clean and tidy. The closets and bedding were nice. The couch pulled out to a bed. The kitchen was good except the silverware drawer had limited utensils; for a suite that can sleep six there was not enough - 4 big forks, one spoon and 2 or 3 knives. Cookware and dishes were sufficient. I went to the main office to ask for spoons and the receptionist gave me some plastic spoons. Perhaps I should have called housekeeping. The pool was nice, it was warmed enough to feel good on a spring day but not so warm as a bath. It wasn’t a huge pool but big enough for my kids and a couple adults to enjoy. There were towels for drying off after and even some pool noodles and a beach ball to play with. The pool grounds with the mini roses all around was very pretty, there was plenty of seating, and even a bbq.Breakfast was confusing. Throw away plates but reusable bowls. No instructions on where to put the reusable bowls. There was a tiny pitcher of half & half and another pitcher of milk - which ran out quickly. No pancakes or waffles, my kids were disappointed about that. Premade egg bites, sausages with cheese to make a breakfast sandwich, and dry oatmeal to put in a microwave with about 6 different mix-ins. I think the only fruits were bananas and whole apples? I don’t recall. Breakfast could definitely be improved. I’d go out to breakfast or have my own food in my room next time.

This hotel was fabulous! The staff were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend staying here. Their beds are very comfortable, and the studio apartment was very spacious for my business trip. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes you need to make a home cooked meal.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The air conditioner wasn't working and they told me to wait because it "takes awhile to work". It got up to 80 degrees that night. I swam in the pool, which was obviously not well cleaned, and got a sore throat. The printer jammed after every page and they did not offer to help. Rude staff and a very unpleasant stay.

Room was clean, but kind of felt like a dorm room. Breakfast was okay (fried eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, etc.), I was surprised by the coffee, much better than most hotel coffee. On the negative side, the internet was TERRIBLE! I was supposed to deliver a presentation to 500+ people, but internet was so bad I couldn't do it. The staff was apologetic and said they are working to upgrade internet hardware. Won't stay there again.

I felt has if this was my home away from home. The service all around was wonderful. The staff, I don't have the words to express how the staff were. Very help, patient, understanding and they made me feel very comfortable. For the location was perfect for me. The distance to shopping centers and the the college I was visiting was less that 15 minutes way. This is on my list of places to stay if and when I return to San Jose.

Staff was helpful and available 24 hours. Studio room was quite comfortable and I liked the layout. Plenty of closet and drawer space. The shower had great water pressure and the toiletries were just right. Very clean .... the bathroom shined. Also liked that the TV was on a swivel and could be viewed while on the couch or in bed. The couch was stiff but liked the ottoman and the tray cover for placing your dinner or drink while sitting on the couch.Personally, I prefer reserving a place with a complimentary breakfast. There was a good variety of both hot and cold food. Not an overabundance of choices but quite sufficient. Very pleased. Service at the breakfast was good.

My husband traveled for work and tagged myself and our 8 yr old daughter along. Perfect location while he was at work, there was great places to shop and even a huge Asian Supermarket across the street! So I got to cook dinner when he got off so he had a home cooked meal. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need even with a blender and rice cooker! My daughter's favorite was the pool and I even grilled fish on their propane grill and staff asked if I needed grill seasonings, it's provided if needed, no extra charge! Love! The staff overall was extra attentive from the time we checked in to the time we checked out! I noticed the ladies constantly sanitizing and cleaning throughout the day, because I was here all day, I noticed everything. This was an amazing staff and friendly and delivered exceptional customer service! We stayed for 4 days and will again for future trips in this area! Highly recommend and they exceed 5 stars!

5 stars. Exceptional service, quaint breakfast, and a charming and peaceful atmosphere. Both of the ladies at the front desk went out of their way to find me an iPhone charger.4 stars: Bathroom needed a bit of work. The woman who worked the late shift made a note and housekeeping in the morning were incredibly prompt in taking care of it.Blessings to this place!

Don't stay here. The staff is nice, housekeeping is good, but they will not hesitate to rip you. The breakfast is scant, the amenities are mediocre but the part I had the most problem with is that they kept a hold in my deposit for a week after checking in, EVEN AFTER CHARGING ME FOR THE STAY. Refused to make it right and gave me the runaround while trying to resolve it. Wasted 45 minutes of my life. Never staying at a Marriott, I will stick with Hilton.

We booked a two bedroom suite, and the space was decent with a small kitchen, living room area, a bathroom and two bedrooms. A tv in one of the bedrooms did not work, even after the front desk suggested we check the cables because sometimes housekeeping bumps them loose. We checked, we tightened cables, but it still didn't work. The room was clean enough (I set a low bar for hotel rooms) and the bed was actually comfortable. This place would have been an acceptable place (despite the cigarette butts thrown all over the ground outside the door) for my family to stay for the five weeks we were in between houses during our move. However, we immediately noticed some shady characters staying at the hotel, and lucky us, the shadiest was in the room right next to us, down at the "quiet" end of the hotel. Why shady, you ask? Well, he seems to live here, doing nothing all day but go in and out of the room to smoke (outside, but also I returned from an errand and the hallway near the room smelled like smoke, so one can assume he smokes inside this non-smoking hotel.) He also has random guests in the parking lot at all hours of the day and night (suggesting illegal drug dealing activities) and sometimes slips them his room key through the window screen so they can access the "secure" door to enter the property. The final straw was when he and his boozed or drugged up lady-friend had an altercation right outside our door, in which there was yelling and cussing. (Thank God my young children were at school!)For a minute, I thought we accidentally checked into a fleabag motel, where one might expect to find this type of low-life scummery. But nope, this is indeed a MARRIOTT hotel! WTH, Marriott? The front desk AND the hotel general manager are aware of this situation, but are unwilling to do anything about it. How can you allow this deviance to exist on your property? Very disgraceful.Needless to say, we checked out. (Two stars for the decent room.)

Stayed here for a week. Everything was mostly great. Staff was nice. Complimentary breakfast. They also had self service laundry machines, and iron/ironing board which I like. Room was clean. For the price I recommend this place. The kitchen was small. It had a microwave, stove, dishwasher, and full size refrigerator. The built in ice machine wasn't hooked up so no ice, and no ice tray to make some ice. No big deal but was annoying. The kitchen some basic stuff dishes glasses and forks knifes. It also had some pots and pans so on last day I decided to use the electric stove but the main large top burner wasn't working so I dinged it one star. Also I wasn't sure where to eat since there is no table. The desk has a rolling narrow table which I used as a table.
