“Pretty good market. A lot of food from all over Latin America including blood sausage. Staff is friendly and everything is pretty straight forward. They have a few items you really can't find at most markets so it's worth. Prices is fair and parking is decent overall.”

“If you want a one-stop-shop for dry and wet goods, be here in this supermarket! They had all the stocks here. Surely, customers will not regret their visits here the same as me.”

“Popular place for weekly grocery run. Veggies, tropical fruits, raw peanuts. Asian groceries. They will even fry fish that you choose. There are often good prices for crab and the lines prove it.”

“If you're looking for fresh meat and vegetables marked down about 20% on average from your traditional grocery stores (ie. Safeway, Lucky's, etc), Fresco is the place to go. It's an Asian/Latino fusion type of grocery store with the best of both worlds offered at extremely competitive pricing (staff is bilingual). I specifically go for their Korean BBQ ribs and marinated chicken as they're both fresh and remarkably delicious. It's conveniently located across from Eastridge and the checkout is usually quick and seamless. Pay them a visit!”

“If you are looking for real Mexican ingredients, this is the place, but you have to be ready to pay way more.Mexican stores are expensive.Tacos and Mexican food are boom, employees are usually very friendly and ready to help.”

“This place is not as bad as other "Yelpers" are making it to be, however this place can use a slight face-lift. It's not necessarily a place to do your full blown shopping. Items that are "popular" to the so called American customers and not so much to the Brown Indigenous (Native American/Mexican,etc) yes those items will obviously be outdated. I mainly go there for the queso fresco Mexicano and purple corn tortilla and at times I get other items that are likely to be in high demand GET IT. For example I won't go to an "Asian" market to look for tortilla or Tapatio hot sauce WHY because I know at that particular store it's not in HIGH DEMAND!!!!”

“I didn't find what I was looking for but I went to another store...but the store is good, only the parking lot is very full because of the other businesses...”

“Come here for the authentic food imports. I kind of wish they would redesign the entrance. Every time I go, someone is standing with their back facing the door, unaware of new customers, constipating up the entrance area.”

“"You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?"

My local Lucky Supermarket has been struggling a bit lately with the bright new Safeway on Cottle and lower-priced FoodMax and Grocery Outlet nearby. Now there is also a new Costco just across the freeway on Great Oaks.

The remodel looks great! The store is much brighter and more open. It even smells better! I really hope they can turn this around.”

“All of my interactions at this locations have always been superb. Just came from July 4 grocery shopping and had a wonderful interaction with cashier Sovann. Promote my guy!”

“I always shop here great selection of products, decent selection of organic fruits and vegetables but seems to get bigger all the time, only complaint is the meat department is not that great, but self check out is great”

3.4 Good126 Reviews

“This location is the cleanest, most organized supermarket I've ever visited. There was alot of inventory throughout the front, but even so they were always placed together accordingly to their promotions or with similar brands. Staff was friendly and helpful. Impressed!”

“Today I went to buy some bread and I believe they have a new baker I try their cornbread oh my God it taste so good fresh ingredients specially the corn it tasted like corn ? tamales ? wow !!! Please keep that new baker they did such a great job with the new bread !!! ????? wow ?”

“This location is by far the most convenient and they are stocked with Siracha for $6 for the large bottle. The parking lot isn't as congested as the sister stores which I am fond of because lets face it, plaza's can be a pain. I do see the employee's trying to keep up their due diligence to ensure bruised food is tossed out and keeping produce as fresh as possible.”

3.3 Good131 Reviews

“Neat & clean, well organised and the bathrooms were clean too. The shelves were all a bit empty which seemed strange, but the employees are friendly & smiling and will help you out with whatever you need to find!”

“I like this Walmart as I can do my weekly grocery shopping, Supercenters are usually more crowded and a bit more difficult to navigate. Only downside is that normally it takes a while to go through check out, there's always a line even on the self check out area.”

3.3 Good207 Reviews

“Best customer service experience out of all the Whole Foods I’ve visited across the United States. Dino went above and beyond to help me find a grocery item that was sold out, he found the fresh guacamole and was so pleasant to interact with! Give that man a raise.”

3.3 Good296 Reviews

“All the items are easy to find, they have a great selection of items. I hate to write anything negative but the self checking is not very helpful, to many questions and people get stuck sometimes making it a longer than necessary process.”

“Hace unos días fui a comprar a esta tienda y la cajera llamada Elizabeth Zalaya me atendió muy bien, es muy amable, me ayudo a encontrar un producto también la señora llamada Lucy es muy amable, les recomiendo esta tienda bastante. Just came here to buy a few things and the cashier was super nice. I definitely recommend this súper market.”

“Its like safeway,Vons, etc. maybe you will find more deals. Yet your dealing with the same prices. Only reason 4 stars not 5 ive gotten some old tasting frosting from the cakes the bakery produces. Im a career baker, it wasn't acceptable. [Old Frosting over 6 months ago maybe they fixed it but I wont buy again to find out]”

“The place is very good, cheap, clean and fresh products but for you to get meat sometimes it takes a while. It would be nice if they put a waiting room or something like that.”

“For some reason their French breads taste really good. You can tell it’s more of a processed type of bread but it’s still a good yummy deal for $1 a giant loaf. I don’t like how there’s stuff locked up behind cases though cause you gotta wait awhile for some poor lone staff to run around to all the customers before finally getting to you. San Jose people, stop stealing!

Also I tried their marketplace pizza near the small deli counter. Hmmm…. For $10, it’s okay but doesn’t seem to have much pizza taste. 6.5/10 rating. I added jalapeño for flavor. I grabbed one of those premade salad bag and also made chicken Alfredo pasta. Meal came out to be only about $5-6 for 4 big servings. Pretty good imo”
