If you need a great moving company, I recommend Suddath. The movers are very professional, courteous, quick and follow instructions. They labeled all the boxes. One label said "to be opened first" and was placed on top. In it, the coffee machine and other breakfast items! Very thoughtful.

Suddath Government Services was assigned to manage my most recent permanent change of station (PCS) for the military, and the only way I can describe the service received is terrible. This isn't our first move, and some of the more difficult ones, include; moving during the height of COVID, over an ocean to somewhere we didn't speak the language, and across three time zones, but this move has been the worst experience for my family by leaps and bounds. I won't bore you with all the details as I'm still working with the powers that be and soon to be my congressman to try to remedy this situation. Still, a couple of highlights, or I guess lowlights: gross underestimation of weight, stealing at point of origin (resulted in a police report), damage to the home that was pending sale, more stealing at point of origin (amendment to the first police report), property damage, refuse to acknowledge property damage (photos with damage and moving stickers provided) and the worst of all; the movers stole from my kid who now has an irrational fear that someone is going to break into our house and steal from us, so makes sure to check the doors to make sure they're locked almost every night. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Ismael B and Richard B were very carefully unload everything and placed them in the assigned place wonderfully. Easy to communicate and super friendly. Will definitely use this moving company again in the future.

I'm still waiting on 10 percent of my stuff after three weeks. No one will call, email or communicate in any way. When you do get through after loooong wait times, they transfer you and then your call gets dropped. Myself and my husband have called many times. Terrible customer service. Also, cant put in a claim for my damaged items until my move is complete but my move isn't complete until the rest of my mystery shipment arrives. Terrible

We interviewed 4 moving companies and chose Suddath because of their professionalism, responsiveness, and reasonable cost. I corresponded with Joaquin Guzman who was very clear and helpful in explaining the process. The documents he emailed me described the process in much detail and nothing was ambiguous. The online site was awesome. The moving crew was also amazing and very easy to work with. I have moved three times across states, and I can say with confidence that Suddath was by far the best I dealt with. Thank you, Juaquin!

It started off well for our cross country move with the bid process and timeliness of communication and answering our questions. We decided to pay more for a partial pack and to use a company we thought would guarantee our delivery in a timely manner-as they promised. Unfortunately our items were delivered very late, and not bc of an issue on the road, or weather, but they never even left our state of origin until the last day of our 5 day guaranteed delivery window. They were taken to a warehouse to sit. There were many other companies, and cheaper companies, we could have gone with. And we were the ones to reach out to check in on our delivery-no one had contacted us. They completely dropped the ball and didn't even start to coordinate our move until the final day of the guaranteed window, when everything was supposed to already be on the opposite side of the country by then! And why? Because they didn't have a truck available. First our rep tried to tell me it was 'possibly and inclement weather issue,' but it was clear she was full of it, as I had just driven across country. By the end of multiple conversations we finally got the truth...that she totally dropped the ball and forgot to follow up and they just didn't have a truck for our stuff. And nothing available for multiple days. They are a moving company, guaranteeing your move (which we planned and booked months in advance) and then they don't even have a truck to move our stuff in?We were told our belongings would be picked up in a large truck and then moved across country (OR to CT), they couldn't guarantee the time on pickup day bc of other things that may be loaded onto the truck heading that way. We totally understood that. Instead, they came, loaded only our stuff and took it to a warehouse and never even told us that the plan was to let it sit there for weeks!?!! In Oregon! It was over 3 weeks before we received our items. So why even guarantee a date? We would have booked with someone who had a truck available, so our young children would have beds, clothes, dishes and toys in their new home. Horrible customer service. The actual moving and packing team in OR was good though. At the destination, they ended up using a 3rd party who had to bring it in multiple loads (and their warehouse was over an hour away) so it was an ALL day unpack. And by this time we had started new jobs and now had to take time off, rearrange childcare yet again, since we received multiple different arrival dates that kept getting pushed back, and in the end, it was way too expensive for so much added stress, lack of accountability and very poor communication. Extra star bc the movers themselves were kind and did a good job overall (in OR), and we got all of our stuff. One desk was banged up and they carried all the dressers in by the top so multiple are loose....but we were so grateful to have our stuff-can't even deal with this company anymore!!

I have been serving this amazing country for over 26 years and have transferred over 11 times. This last move was by far the worse experience ever. The disregard and negligent handling of my personal property is shameful and should be embarrassing for a company that moves our service members and their families. After submitting my claim, I was denied and was provided false information. I did my rebuttal and was not contacted. Over 2 months I was lied to, saying someone would be contacting me back when they never even tried. Finally after get ahold of a supervisor, my claim was denied again with no answer to my rebuttal nor provided all the inspectors report when asked for it. I am only one of thousand of service members who go thru this painful process and to be treated with such disrespectful.Mr. Scott Kelly, as the leader of government services division, I would love to share my awful experience and not only help myself but to prevent future disrespect to those sacrifice their lives everyday. Suddath says they pride themselves in relocating over 30,000 military families, we will see. I look forward to hearing from someone.Gerald

Stay away from them. They moved my stuff from Dallas TX to San Jose CA. They are terrible. Stole my Persian carpet which as you know it is very expensive. They broke TV, Piano, Bike and so on. They are a bunch of stealer. I couldn't submit this review without picking a star so one star just shows my hate from this company.

Just completed packing and loading of our household goods for a move from CA to MI. The crew from Suddath, led by Fernando and Ramon, and assisted by Rocky, Ismael and James were excellent. Proficient with careful packing of all items with no major (nor minor) accidents. Personable, hardworking, and neat. Not much else to say --- have used United Van affiliates a number of times over the last 35 years and this crew might be the best yet! Thank you Ramon, Fernando, Rocky, Ismael and James!!
