This place is equivalent to a dumpster fire. NOT open to fill your tanks on Wednesday. Do they post it? No. Do they let you know that the services aren't available until after you unload your truck with all your propane tanks? Also no.

Walked into the office and they told me exactly what I needed to do to get my new propane tank purged and refilled. The guy who purged and filled it was quick and professional. Very pleasant experience.

Provides the best deals for propane in the San Jose area so much better then the tank exchange at the big box stores 8+ dollars of saves. Down side they only fill tanks on Thursdays.

Ohh goodness, what I can say truly to express my deep appreciation for the team at Suburban propane San Jose accept they are absolutely amazing!!! Seriously they went above and beyond after this last storm to get us heat and lights as we had lost it all after 7 days of no power, roads closed etc.. It was a terrifying to be honest emotional yet deeply grateful time and the team at Suburban San Jose truly pulled thru when I thought I may loose it.. We have a special needs son and many fur babies plus 4 more boys and this experience truly brought us to our knees, yet when we were at our last straw Corin(I pray I spelled her name correctly, apologies if not:)and her team where there!!! They all are so kind, respectful, understanding and there when you need them the most!! Thank you all so very much, you were and are our angels,we appreciate you deeply!!! Biggest Blessings to you all!!

The employee in back was rude and unprofessional, however, the employee at the front desk was friendly and professional. Drove there for a refill and was told they're not filling tanks right now, but didn't post this on their website. I won't return.

WORST SERVICE EVER !!!! THEY HAVE LEFT US WITH OUT PROPANE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOUSED TO COME EVERY WEEK. WE CAN NOT USE OUR FORK LIFTS DUE TO NO PROPANE .WHEN I CALL TO SEE WHATS THE DEAL THEIR PERSONEL ARE RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESIONAL,IF YOU HAVE TO RUN A BUISNESS DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!!!!

Never available at the posted filling hours. Been here 3 times at different times of the day, even calling ahead to confirm. Arrive and no one is available to help. No one seems to care. They are rude and unprofessional.

Can't always rely on them to deliver what they say they will. Need to stay on them. Delivery workers are hard working but whomever is at the scheduling desk needs help. Be sure to get a per gallon quote when you order it as it may change when delivered.

Been here 3 times to fill up my RV. Called ahead to confirm the filling times. Arrived during the hours stated by the service rep even avoided the 12-1pm time which they said is when they are closed for lunch. Each time no one was available to assist. No one cares, the staff a rude and unprofessional. During my 3 visits I have seen at least 15 food trucks pull up wait and drive away. Word of advice. If you have a business make sure you are operating and able to service customers during your posted business hours.

I've been here a few times and it is usually a good place. I went this afternoon at 2:09PM to fill up my 30lb propane tank for the RV and was told they were closed. The attendant was still there and refused to fill up my tank because they are closed. I told them their website says they are open until 5pm. He shows me the special hours posted on a piece of paper due to covid-19. If you are going to change the hours, I suggest you UPDATE your website as well as yelp profile. I will take my business somewhere else and did. For anyone wanting to use them, here here there official hours (that are not posted anywhere online)

Well I guess they read my review! New bill was ridiculously padded with charges. Gonna have them remove their tank asap so I can get on to a decent vendor. Criminally short-sighted management.
