Very grateful for these guys.Really appreciate their expertise and advisement on upgrading the steering box in my ‘66 mustang!Loving the steering tightness, upgraded ratio and quality of the new box; they even gave it to me already centered and marked which made install a piece of cake.

I’ve been nursing my steering original box leak now on my 75 Camaro “that’s like 200 years old in human year lol” for a few years now, adding fluid every couple weeks then jacking up the car and cleaning the frame with brake cleaner and some rags. About a month ago the leak got bigger so it was time to pull it out. Why did I procrastinate so long? Well there are really only 3 options #1. Trading yours in for a rebuilt one “mine is a 2.75 quick ratio box, which is not easy to find, Plus after watching some videos of people who purchased rebuilt units and seen how there’s all kinds of issues and mistakes by “mass” rebuilders, that option was not going to happen. Option #2. Call a junk yard a buy a used one “ remember this is a 47 year old unit, how good could a used one possibly be?” Option #3. Rebuild it myself “which is what I was going to do” but if I find worn parts I would not know where to source them…. Well long story longer I was talking to a gear head about my problem he mentioned there’s a place that he uses quite a bit that will rebuild mine. Enter in option #4. Straight Line Steering.I called and told them my issues, they quoted me $375 for a rebuild. When I brought it in I spoke to who I believe is the owner, Mark (super nice guy) he told me if all goes well $325. I handed him the box and came back 4 four days later. Mark said he had to replace a internal part and just happened to have a good used one so he put it in at no additional cost. The bill was $325 + tax.Mark explained that my newly rebuilt original unit comes with a one-year warranty and they do pressure check it before releasing it to make sure there are no leaks. What more could I ask for. Places like this are few and far between these days, “ seriously folks it’s like finding a complete T- Rex skeleton in your backyard” to find someone who even has the knowledge to work on a 47 year old components, are hard workers making an honest living, are willing to bend over backwards for you, and have great customer service. Note this Business does everything power steering, even on newer vehicles, if it can be rebuilt they can do it. Hands down 5 stars through and through. So blessed to have old schoolers like this and business near me.

Unbelievably great customer service! The most knowledgeable and professional staff I’ve ever dealt with. They rebuilt my very old Prevost steering components and Mark walked me through the operation of the system functions. I recommend this company to anyone who needs it done right the first time!

Purchased new steering pump from them for our peterbilt. Then decided to Purchase a rebuilt steering box from them (m100). Drove all the way from wheatland ca to San Jose. They had a hiccup on the part, but took care of it and worked on getting one back to us the same day. Great prices along with service, thank you guys for helping. Will buy from you again!
