Like this hotel and stay often, but had a rental electric vehicle, so I purposely chose this hotel knowing they have paid parking with electric charging available. Unfortunately, they do no regulate these EV parking spaces, so every few hours I would see if a spot opened up, but they were always taken by all non EV vehicles despite the clear labeling as EV space only. This was especially frustrating as there were plenty of regular non EV spaces available for these clearly gas vehicles. The front desk tells you to google EV charging and take your car elsewhere, so that was extremely unhelpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Jose Airport. The hotel exudes cleanliness and the rooms are comfortable and cozy. While the parking garage entrance is a bit tight, it was a surprise to find level 1 electric chargers at select spots. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exemplary customer service, particularly from a gentleman named Wally. Wally not only assisted me in locating a parking spot with an electric charger, but when it was taken by a non-electric vehicle the following day, he strategically placed a traffic cone to prevent a recurrence. He even got a broken charger fixed! This level of attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction is something I seldom come across. I had a thoroughly enjoyable 5-night stay and highly recommend this establishment.

I was treated very rudely, the staff was very unfriendly their service to attention was terrible . They acted like it was my job to cater to them . Last time I checked business etiquette , it was to please the customer not the other way around . Just letting other people know how you will be treated if you stay at this system . Respectfully J Aldean

We stay here once month and the rooms are always quiet and clean. I wish the prices fluctuated more but it's pretty consistent for a nights stay. Haven't checked out the pool but the breakfast was really good and the garage is safe parking $15/stay.

Parking is a hassle and there’s a charge, but I really enjoy staying here! I appreciate the water closet separate from the shower area. The bed was very comfortable and although the room seems small, there’s plenty of room to work at the desk and/or relax in the couch!

Overall, this was a great hotel to stay at & I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were pretty clean & I liked how they had a pull out couch. The breakfast was just ok though.Noteworthy details: They provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms.

Fantastic experience. Atmosphere was great and the staff were all on their A game for customer service. I was there for buisness but I'm trying to think of reasons to come back for the breakfast burrito.

I don't usually write negative reviews but this totally warrants one. I am extreme dissatisfied with the way an incident at this property was handled. I am a loyal guest of the Marriot brand and I have been staying Marriott for the past few years and I am a Platinum Elite Member. This is a lot of nights and money. With all of the other hotel brands I chose Marriot. I booked a 13 night stay for work. On the night of 9/1 I arrived to my room with my family that came to visit me for the weekend and immediately noticed that my room was refreshed as my bed was made. As I went to charge my phone I notice my charger was missing. I looked over and saw a small travel cologne on the floor next to the closet. I opened the closet and immediately new someone had been in my personal belongings. As I looked through the room my suitcase, shoes, company laptop, clothing ( all of my sock, all of my undergarments, shirts, pants) had been taken while I was at work. How could this had happen if housekeeping was the only other person in my room? I had over $3000 worth of my personal belongs and company property that had been stolen under their watch. Than night I filed a police report and the offices let me know that this hotel only has cameras in the lobby so they could not see who had been in my room. I requested to be transferred to another property, in which they said they could move me to their sister property which is next door. There was no way I wanted to stay their since they were on the same property, but by this time it was 1230am and I didn't want to pack up my family and move. The next morning I checked out and waited to speak with the AGM. She stated that they had to investigate and would get back to me. She offered me a refund on the one night since I wanted to leave but stayed. I find this to be insulting. What is even more appalling is that this happened on Friday and I received this very dismissive email from the GM on Monday stating I could call him if I wanted to discuss this matter. Really, I need to call you? To miss this only means two things...1) this happens frequently so it's no big deal or 2) this GM doesn't care. By Marriott hello Hilton.

Due to some unexpected need, I had to come to San Jose to take care of things. Unfortunately, I was injured recently so I had to make some special requests, including asking for an accessible room with bathtub. ...As you can see, the request was granted and the room was great: clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The front desk was extremely helpful. They not only accommodated my special request but also let me checked-in early. And, I mean e-a-r-l-y (checked in at around 10:30am!). THANK YOU!!!The complementary breakfast (buffet style) was plentiful and delicious. Uhh...sorry, I forgot to take pix. I will definitely come back to this hotel again.

This hotel was great!!! Spoke with several staff members before arriving and everyone was helpful. Dare I say,I even enjoyed speaking with reservation agent. ... Anyway, arrived a little later than I was planning... And check in was fine. They had me assigned to a room on 5th floor and thankfully I was able to get switched to a first floor room. The hotel isn't fancy (4 of 5 or /B), but it was CLEAN in good repair decent beds and GREAT customer service. There was a little fridge and microwave, all items worked in room... Little sitting area with a couch and desk to separate room. Bathroom is a little challenging as frosted sliding doors facing bed. There isn't really a quiet way to use bathroom, but I was so tired... Slept decent.. No complaints. This location shares some amenities with sister property. I thought it was well set up and overall nice clientele. There is a nice shared gym, pool, parking garage... When we stayed someone was even grilling on the BBQ by the pool. I thought it was a great idea and I was impressed. In the morning there is a little breakfast...a slight step above Continental. The ladies were working non-stop to keep place clean and stocked with their items. We were going to the Jazz festival and I thought it was very nice that they had a little map displaying the streetcar stops and since basic info for the festival. It was a nice touch. We didn't use, but several people arrived by shuttle from the airport. Drivers seemed attentive and helpful. All in all.. great stay! I would have given this business 4 stars, but every time I passed the front desk (different people) I was acknowledged...I really felt that was a nice touch. The employees care about the service and it shows... Great job! Would definitely stay again when a SJ visit.Thank you everyone who helped with my last minute weekend plans.Warm regards,Sharine D

I'm gonna have to look back and see if I have EVER given a five star review for a hotel. Truth be told, I hate staying at hotels. Mostly because it's so hard to find one that's quiet, clean, AND comfortable. Those are my three non-negotiables. From the start, check-in gave me high hopes!!! Lillianna was AMAZING and belongs in hospitality! When we arrived, I think the very long day of travel was written all over our faces. She very authentically and genuinely felt our exhaustion and was just a breathe of fresh air with her professionalism, accommodating nature and friendly attitude. We asked for a change to our room type but also a high floor. She came thru!! I NEVER heard another guest on our floor. I did hear the stairs and employee doors close a couple of times but, it was nothing compared to doors slamming and yelling and stomping I've encountered at other hotels. While it would've been nice to have room service, the bar and grill was perfect in a pinch. The morning breakfast had so many options and it was honestly delicious. (I'm an egg and potato gal but the waffles, sausage/bacon, and pastries were amazing too) We stayed for a week and did have to ask for our room to be cleaned half way thru but post Covid, I didn't think that was too unusual. The night before checkout, we ran into Lillianna again. Man she is just an exceptional representative of this hotel. She is knowledgable, gave great recommendations for establishments around town and just overall was a pleasure to talk to. We would absolutely stay here again. Clean, modern, quiet, amenities, all five star for what it is.

My colleagues and I stayed here for a week last week for work and I have to say, the Residence Inn was better. I stayed for 3 nights at the Residence Inn in June. It is connected to SpringHill Suites.. They have the same parking garage and gym. The gym is actually on the Residence Inn's side. Since I stayed at both Springhill and Residence, I can definitely compare my experience and yeah, the Residence is much better. First of all, if you're traveling with families, book with Residence Inn because you will have the options of bedroom suites vs studios. At Springhill I think all is studios. And the rooms are much smaller. I stayed at a Springhill in Dallas and the design was very similar, except this one, they split the toilet and bathroom and put the closet in the middle. So your bed, if you get 2 Queens, will each face the toilet door, or the bathroom door... It's just an odd design. The wifi also was very annoying the whole stay. I asked the front desk why I could not log into their wifi in the lobby and they said that it's probably picked up wifi from the Residence Inn instead. Seems like wifi from the Residence is much stronger. When I was at the Residence, once I logged into the premium wifi (for Gold and higher), you're set for the whole stay. At Springhill, I was kicked out every time my iPhone locked. IT was very annoying. And if you're not connected to wifi, the signal is kind of weak. So I had to reconnect to wifi every single time I used my phone... Also, breakfast at the Residence was slightly better. They also have iced coffee at Residence Inn. Both hotels share the same pool and gym, which are both located on the Residence's side.. Overall, if I come to SJ again and would like to stay in this area, I would definitely book Residence and not Springhill.
