Excellent store.
Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Hella nerdy vibes.
Being queer in nerd culture can be really hit-or-miss, but when I went to pick up some laserdiscs, I felt welcome and safe.
Good place to be.
Will definitely shop here again.

I have made some purchases before as it was a convenient location to buy TCG accessories and sets. I recently called in asking if they had a product in store. They said they had the product in hand at $180. I drove down immediately in about 30 minutes only for them to tell me that the new price was low $216. They claimed to have updated the price to new market price at 2pm, but I had called at 3:46pm. I don’t have a problem with stores charging whatever they want, but lying about the price and making me drive into store is unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone support this type of behavior from any business.

Tad confused. I was in here earlier in the year to buy magic singles and was told that if I paid in cash there was a small cash discount. Which ultimately made this place number one in my book. Cards add up, even if they are 99cents each so anything helps. Today I went in and there wasn't a cash discount when I paid in cash. Which I was confused. Maybe things changed? Other than that the store is nice. Would recommend to anyone whose looking for retro unique items.

If you're a new magic player, I do not recommend playing commander here. I love and appreciate the people who runs the place; however, other players there form a clique that if you bring a precon, be prepared to be stomped and see other players helping each other instead of actively playing to win and have fun. As a person who plays magic, I do not appreciate being shamed for making plays that hinder the dominant player's lead.
It's a shame, a very nice shop, great people who run the business that I support from time to time. It comes down to the players who come to these Commander events (or others) that dictate how the environment is. For that, this is not a good environment for new players.

so I have really enjoyed this place I bought comics and for the last 2 years I have gone I would sometimes bring in dc mcfarlane collectibles to sell. I always buy things I know that will be worth a little upfront and down the line. The people I was greeted with were always nice and also would take time for the customers never felt rushed, I would bring in dc mcfarlane figure and would get money for them would be around 40-60 bucks depending what and how much I brought in. I called in Saturday because it was my grandma's 90th and was looking for some extra cash the guy who was on his lunch picked up all annoyed saying I wouldn't get much for them and said when you get here I will come out and take a look. I went there a lady at the front desk greeted me I explained to her I looked up one of them which was the Knight fall batman blue and grey suit which was now more of a rare buys due to it not being sold in stores or Amazon unless for the price of 40 bucks now vs 25 retail price it once was. I had the black and grey version as well and also a mega figure nekron which online is 39-40 bucks so in total I had figures worth around 105 dollars but knowing there's fees for taking the figures I figured the price would be around 60-80 bucks so when the women sat there didn't look anything up and made a price of 5 dollars from her head I am not saying she was rude but the fact there was no effort put into the exchange and also no customer service I walked out. The dude on his lunch greeting me with we only get paid 18 and that's a lot of work to look up that stuff and he would have even offered less and said they are more like a warehouse and if some old person dies this is a great place for us to take their collection and give it for someone else to enjoy really just made me sit like you are a comic book store... you guys get collectibles, rare items and comics to call it a warehouse is insulting to your own brand plus i am sorry but its a hole in the wall comic book store if thats the wear house a cardboard box makes a good apartment. so that right there showed me you guys are less than what they were offering no customer service even if you guys said hey went can't give you much for them and we understand you have done business in the past here like but we have changed our policy would have understood but no just 5 bucks or 2 from the guy outside so i went to legends guy looked them up, sold them ,and made a good amount of money for it plus offered me business in the future if I pick up the 2 pack of batman vs bane from the knightfall comic. That's how you do business maybe you guys should learn from others before your so called "warehouse" turns into use to be a warehouse but went out of business. thanks and to the dude that made the 18 an hour comment if you don't like your job then don't work there ?♂️

One of my favorite places in the South Bay! There used to be more, but I’ll gladly take one over nothing. I really like that they have both comics and retro video games.

I had come to this store from 10 miles away pulled into the parking lot and parked alongside another car. (The way every parking lot is layed out) Another car pulled in and blocked the car next to me. The owner of this store got an attitude saying I blocked the car in and demanded I move I told him I didn't block anyone in that the other vehicle is the one blocking the car. I then walked out and moved my car even though I hadn't blocked anyone in. When I walked back to his store he demanded I leave and never return. I wouldn't recommend this store to not one person. This man was treating his employees horrible as well. I noticed on one of his reviews that he remarked to another unsatisfied customer that he had plenty of money he was only in business for his services. How he has been open as long as he said is beyond me. Where I come from the customer always comes first. Where he comes from he comes first and the customer don't matter!!! I'm curious how he's going to reply surely not a purrrrr. I'm guessing a delete or a growl!!!

Great selection of comic books. Not a very good selection of retro videogames. Mostly Xbox and PS2. No Dreamcast or Sega CD. Very few snes and Sega games. I think it could be organized better. Shop is dirty. I edited this review to clarify after the owner’s condescending response below. I originally gave a 3 which I thought was reasonable but made it a 2 due to the below.
