Please watch out before you buy from this store.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Benjamin Moore South bay Paints.my client has already purchased the paint over the phone and I ask one of the team member to go pick it up. All my team member were company T shirts with logo on it and he was there to pick up the purchased paint but instead they sale another time the paint before we leave the shop we figure out the problem and call them for refund and they refused and blaming him that he didn't say it was a pick up order.the problem get worse When I asked to speak to the manager, I expected some sort of resolution, but it only got worse. The manager was just as rude and completely uninterested in addressing my concerns. They offered no assistance or apologies, making it clear they didn't care about their customers. I won't be returning and I highly advise others to avoid this place as well.

Always a mistake if I don’t shop here for paint or stain - they carry the better quality goods - sry no photo but I know once these guys warm up to you - you’ll get some good guidance - they do help discuss color selection too ……

Horrible customer service - My painter made a purchase based on paint number/color name from the sample brochure. Our chosen paint color happened to have two names and numbers listed below the color palate strip, so we wrote them both down/provided both in case there was a reason for two (like a specific dye lot, etc.). Since these names, numbers were on the brochure page the assumption was the Benjamin Moore Store would know their own product and know why (turns out that one name/number flags it as a "designer" color). The person helping us at the store did not know the product, asked why there were 2 color names/numbers, and then proceeded to mix up TWO gallons - one of each paint name/color - even though my painter was clear we needed just ONE gallon of this paint. My painter was confused why the sales person was mixing and he had to therefore buy 2 gallons since we said one, but assumed the guy mixing the paint had a reason to give him these 2 gallons and so that's what was purchased. Upon bringing them to the job site, we inspected the cans, labels, etc. and it was clear they were THE SAME color. So we were mistakenly guided by the store person that we needed both gallons when we needed only 1. My painter attempted to return one, explaining we never asked for 2 gallons and we trusted that there was some reason why they gave us 2 different paints that were in the end the same. He could not get a refund. I then called the manager who also would not do the right thing by the consumer and refused to take the extra gallon back (having also checked with the store owner). This is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE since they should have known they were the same and should have advised that either color name/number worked and only sold my painter 1 gallon as originally requested. It is NOT my problem that their sample brochure had listed both names, numbers under the color strip!Do NOT go to this store, no appreciation for the customer point of view/very poor customer service and clearly some lack of knowledge of how and why Benjamin Moore labels their paints.

Let me start with Gabe Connolly, he is the staple to what customer service should look like. Walked in, approached Gabe and let him know I will be needing the special treatment as I’m doing a complete home remodel and it’s time for paint. Gabe walked me through the in and outs of everything paint, how to match trim color with our main interior color, different finishes, paint match, etc… We walked out with some samples to test within 15 minutes. Gabe, hats off to you sir.

Andy was exceptionally helpful in selecting colors for repainting an entire house. Great expertise and the most profession customer service rep I have had in ages.
