I would rather drive out further to go this store location all thanks to Rob. He is the best person to go to for advice of paint colors , quality , etc . He explained so well that by the time I left, I was able to get more than 12 plus gallons. Wyatt is also very good . My favorite store for best quality paint and services I can count on every-time !

Came to leave a review and am utterly unsurprised that other people have praised Wyatt as well. I'm doing a mural project and came in with a long list of different paint colors—I left feeling totally floored at how helpful and patient Wyatt was with all my questions. He was happy to suggest all his favorite brands of tape, brushes, etc. and even gave me a discount because the store had run out of a certain base paint I needed and we had to go with an alternative. Finally, he carried an entire cardboard box full of supplies out to my trunk. Thank you Wyatt!! Honestly probably never going to Lowe's or Home Depot again after this.

I like the attention to customer they have here, once I arrived the other day with my wife. The young man , I believe his name is Wyatt, helped and guided me to choose the finishes for my walls , and recommended what steps to use before painting. Rob the manager in the other hand also has great attitude! Love this location, I think I’ll come here whenever I have my painting needs.Thanks guys.

I work for Kevin Bariteau, i’m one of his guys and have lots of side jobs, he has recommended me to the best 3 store locations on the bay for sure!!The staff here are AWESOME !Rob and Wyatt are amazing, always great with the eye matches, great when it comes to detail & I love the attention they give their customers when we arrive ..Keep it up south bay paints!!

I almost forgot the bad experience in Santa Teresa store, but today my painter guy mentioned it. He said the store guy had called him to complain that I made a lot of mistakes on him.So I would like to speak out the actual fact. on 9/24, that was Saturday, I called the store to order some interior painting and primer for my house, and would like to pick up next Monday early morning. Because it was almost store close time, the guy said he would like to give me a call next Monday morning to collect my credit card information and prepare to make the painting for me.Badly on 9/26 the store guy did not give me call until 7:30am I called the store. He totally forgot his promise. This was the start. Before 8:00am I arrived at the store. But when I checked the order, I found the mistake about Arua Matte 793 only one gallon, even in the receipt there were 2 gallons. At that time, the guy looked very unhappy and began to say bad word like complaint. After he mixed 1 gallon of Arua Matter for me, he started to pull all the painting and prime to my car. Then I found there was no primer container (5 gallons). I asked him and said it is one 5 gallon missed. He yelled at me and said everything ordered was in my trunk and request me to go. I returned to store and tried to explain to him, but he refused. At that time, his coworker came to me and said he would like to help me to check again, the same time let the guy go into counter. The second youth man came to my trunk and checked with receipt, then found it was true that one 5 gallon primer missed. He stepped back to somewhere, and found the lost one, and put it to my trunk. He said very sorry to me like wasting my time, and wrote down his name and the store guy name, store owner name & cell phone number. He said I can call store owner to complain this guy. But on the way home, I forgave the guy, because I thought about my sons, thought youth people need to support and understand their mistakes.Until today my paint guy said the store guy had called him to complain that I had a lot of mistakes on him on 9/26/2022 when went to the store. The guy is dishonest and rude to customer, and did not admit his mistake.Here is my invoice number: T0020241 with amount of $1875.11.Hope store owner can find out the fact and call my paint guy to take back his store worker's bad words.

Rob Adams is stellar! Came in to get some paint color fixed and he did an amazing job listening and getting us to where we needed to be. Shared some knowledge, was patient and helped us throughout the process. Gave some pointers and the rest is old news. Thank you Rob for being a staple when it comes to customer service!

An outstanding experience. I had a 12 year old paint sample along with a couple of product numbers. Store manager Rob Adams instantly knew what I needed and had it ready quickly. He checked me out while the paint was mixing and threw in a stir stick and opener. He was pleasant and friendly while doing all of this. Price was more than fair. Easy to find the store and there was plenty of convenient parking.

I was having trouble finding the right neutral shade for the interior of our house. Wyatt was very patient and very knowledgeable with the color schemes, and recommended a few shades in the color I thought I wanted, but it turned out that they didn't work with the lighting in my house. When I spoke to Wyatt again about my problem, he immediately understood and recommended new colors, which worked out perfectly! He actually recommended these colors early on, but I was really set on a different color scheme. I am very thankful for his patience and help in finding the right shade of color for my house! I've been to other paint stores and none stand up to the great customer service that I received at South Bay Paints. Next time I'm painting, I'm definitely coming back here! Thank you very much!
