My entire experience with Silicon Valley Flooring was excellent. I went to Silicon Valley Flooring for engineered hardwood and installation for our house renovation. I needed flooring for our entire downstairs, upstairs hallway, and stairs. I had initially gone to another flooring company on the advice of our designer, but they weren't able to get me the floors that I wanted in time for our renovation (and couldn't even give me an estimated time of arrival), so I went to Silicon Valley Flooring instead. Right away, I knew things were going to be different working with Maor. When I called Maor on the phone, he was so helpful and knew exactly what I needed to make things work for my budget and timeline. They had plenty of samples and options in the showroom, but he already had a few things lined up to show me even before I arrived, which was so helpful. He's also very detail oriented and explains the whole process clearly so that there are no misunderstandings. His honesty and transparency were very much appreciated. I also appreciate that Maor is very responsive, accommodating, and very easy to work with. When it came time for installation, Maor sent Jesus and team, and they were amazing. They arrived on time, worked swiftly, and they finished the work ahead of schedule. The floors look fantastic. The team was very careful with everything both inside and outside of our house, taking care to clean up after themselves and their workstation, which they set-up in our driveway. I cannot say enough good things about the team and Jesus. Jesus also did an amazing job on our stairs (the flooring we chose didn't come with a matching stair nosing, so he made them with the flooring material), and I really felt like Jesus put a lot of care into his work. I dealt with many different vendors for our house renovation, and Silicon Valley Flooring was one of the few vendors that made the process less stressful and that I could trust and rely on. I met other vendors during my house renovation project who knew of Silicon Valley Flooring and also spoke very highly of them, which I think says a lot.

We recently went to Silicon Valley Flooring to look at new flooring for three rooms in our house. They have a verynice showroom with many different manufacturers and styles. The showroom is quite large. We spoke with Maor and he was very helpful and provided insight and answers to our many questions. We took a few samples hometo put down and see what we thought and we didn't like those, Maor said take more and no rush. We finally found one we liked and today the flooring was installed. The crew arrived on time and did a great job and even picked up our washer and dryer from the garage and put them in the laundry room so they wouldn't scratch the floor. I've now used SVF twice and had great results. They over communicate, meet proposed timelines and worked to help me with my schedule. Floors turned out beautifully. They did three bedrooms in 1.5 days, cleaned up after they were done and made sure I was happy with the results. Highly recommend.

We recently contracted Silicon Valley Flooring to install a new Luxury Vinyl Tile ( LVT ) floor for our condo of 1040 sq ft in Santa Clara County.We sought bids from a few contractors to remove the existing wood floorings and replace with new ones, including the underlay. Silicon Valley Flooring was the winning bid and Mr. Maor was the person in contact.Silicon Valley Flooring did a fantastic job. Everyone on the team, especially Mr. Maor went above and beyond to give us a beautiful new floor and follow-up care for the work done.They were true to cost, punctual, and delivered a result that satisfied all of our requirements. All of this was primarily due to the diligence of Mr. Maor, and the team who installed the floor - Fernando, and his team.Mr. Maor was very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and delivered on what he promised. He took the time to research how to meet our HOA's flooring requirements in order to ensure they used the best products for our floors. He recommends and offers very high-quality products with good sound ratings.Fernando and his team were responsible for the installation work. They performed the installation well and quickly. They removed the old floor, replaced the new floor with a little less of 1040 sq ft within less than 2 days. Other flooring companies offered an installation for 3-5 days. They left the property as clean as when they started the job. The installation job was beautifully done and with great care. There were no damages to any of the baseboards.We are happy that we chose Silicon Valley Flooring, Mr. Maor. We would highly recommend Silicon Valley Flooring and Mr. Maor and his team to anyone who wants to install new floorings.

Note: I can't comment on quality of their installation as I have only purchased engineered floor and stairs from them.From the customer experience perspective their service is top notch. Maor was very pleasant to work with, starting from the very first visit where he gave a lot of information without any unnecessary BS that I've heard in other stores. He recommended the best course given our tight schedule and budget and also was able to deliver on all of his promises! One of the most important aspects to consider when buying materials these days is delays in supply chain which can take months(!) to get your order delivered (thanks COVID!). These guys have several types of their floor in stock so it can be delivered/picked up within a day or two!!! On top of that, they were the only store who had SQUARE stairs made from the same hardwood which we totally loved and never regretted getting installed!Overall, great experience with Maor during the initial consultation and purchase and on top of that he was always available for any questions and adjustments when we needed to order couple more items or return leftovers! Would recommend the business!

I had an HVAC condensation leak in early July which necessitated removingSilicon Valley Flooring was recommended to me by a neighbor who had his flooring done by them.I went to the store and spoke with Maor. He was very knowledgeable, asked what I was looking for, explained a few things, and we were able to narrow it down to a few options. I took a sample home, was happy with it. He came out to measure the place, we discussed the details, I put a deposit down, and the material was ordered.One thing that was nice is that since they had done a job in my building before, they knew what to expect logistics-wise and Maor was able to give me all of the information I needed to get HOA approval without any hassle.Unfortunately, material took some time to get--not unexpected, with the supply chain issues we're all dealing with, but I can be patient.While waiting for material, I changed my mind about how I'd like the baseboards, and Maor was very accommodating and changed the quote.After a few weeks to a month, most of the material was in, except for one trim piece which we were still waiting for, and eventually Maor decided it was best to do the install, and then put that piece in when it comes in. Install was set for a Monday--Maor said they could do it in one day, I had previously insisted if they needed two days to do it right, that'd be fine, since I was planning on being out of the place for the week.My place is pretty small, and the floor covers pretty much the entire place, so I had to move all of my furniture out. I booked a U-Haul trailer, moved the stuff that would be a pain to move out into the bathroom, and the rest into the trailer on Sunday.So far, this is a 5-star experience, thanks to Maor... read on to see how the install went and why this is a 1-star review.Met the installers at my place on Monday morning, they were around 40 min late, we ran through everything, and I made sure they had no questions, told them if they had any, Maor could of course put them in touch with me, and headed to work. Plan was for them to move material & tools in/out 8-10am, do demo and install 9am-5pm (HOA only allows flooring work during these hours), and move stuff out 4pm-6pm. I had the elevator & loading dock reserved during those hours.In the afternoon, I got a phone call from Maor saying that the installers were running behind and needed some more time, so I extended the loading dock and elevator reservation. He also asked me to get home at 6pm to look things over, and then give the installers a check for the balance. After I got off the phone, I looked at the estimate, and saw that indeed it did say "the balance upon completion," and since there was still a trim piece they would need to come back to install, there would be no check on that day.See attached pictures for what I found when I returned home.Meanwhile, I moved all my furniture out of the bathroom, so that a painter could come do touch-ups there while he does the finishing and painting of the baseboards (this is not a service that Silicon Valley Flooring provides, so I had to find someone else to do it). This meant that the painter would have to come back to re-paint and finish anything that the installers fixed.I later found some additional issues which I texted with Maor about, including that rather than using the reducer I bought which matches the new floor, they re-used the ones that matched my old floor, and bizarrely, used a reducer for a level transition to the linoleum in my laundry closet. Also found numerous gaps between planks, dinged plank edges, and that the covers for the outlet boxes in my floor not level/flush to floor & one was not even fixed.Maor called me the next day apologizing and saying that the installers would come back to fix the issues. This ended up being scheduled for the Wednesday a week after the initial install, and Maor would have the remaining trim piece made so they could put it in then.Before they got started, I showed him the issues, after a few hours, he said they were done, and I looked, and se

Maor and his team were very professional and responsible. We chose them for hardwood floor and carpet replacements. Maor was very patient in explaining to us all the technical terms and project timeline. He was also very responsive to all questions we had. Maor and team completed the project on time and as per schedule. It took only 3 days to complete the whole house hardwood & carpet demo and installation. Very happy with the service.

Short: Excellent service, very professional team and the execution was done in timely manner.We did our main living room area flooring about a year ago and haven't continued the same flooring in bedrooms due to timing constraints at that time. So we asked Maor from Silicon Valley Flooring if they have the same floor and whether they can do it within a short notice, which they did.They performed screw down service (1 feet apart screws across all of the area for elimination of squeaking noise), new floor and baseboard installation - all in shorter time than we anticipated.The quality of the work is excellent, the team of 3 guys were professional and Maor coordinated everything really well. In addition to that he matched the flooring pricing to another quote I received.I highly recommend these folks for flooring and baseboard installation.
