Best hot chicken place I've found so far! Always get the loaded fries or the texas toast sandwich. Sad that they recently started using nuggets instead of tenders for their loaded fries but still really good. Would say they're a 8.5/10 with the nuggets and 9.5/10 with the tenders.

Service is pretty good. The guy explained the spice level really well to me and I decided to go with 5 since I have an above average heat resistance taste buds.The chicken is one big juicy piece. The only thing I would improve is the breading. I like crunchy crust in general and it would make the chicken even bigger.Level 5 is what I would consider a perfect choice at the moment, but after an hour later I think I could handle level 6. They can make it a 5.5 as well if you want. They have honey to bring down the heat if needed.They don't have tap water and no bathrooms. I would consider this place a takeouts spot instead of dine in.A little expensive, but not bad!

I have had from scratch cookery when they were scratch sj back in 2020-21 as a pop up shop and was completely in awe of their burger .Ordered from there after a break and was disappointing.I got chicken nuggets and fries, the nuggets were very hard,brittle and crumbly. Wasn't fresh at all. Could not take bites due to how hard it was. The fries and sauce were decent . I would like to believe it is a one time issue and hope they do better next time.

Got the 2pc chicken tenders from their truck - comes with 2 big tenders, potato wedges and a dip. Freshly fried tenders were well seasoned and juicy. They lived up to the nashville hot chicken branding on the truck. Went for the level 4 out of 7 spice levels. It was perfectly hot ?

A food truck to Brick and Mortor. Three years ago, I waited in a very long line to try your Tennessee Fried Chicken. You did not disappoint. I'm so glad to find you nearby. And the the free 90-minute public park across the street is a serious plus.

If you were to try one Nashville hot chicken sandwich in San Jose, let it be at this place. I’ve only tried this spot for just under four times, but four times in a span of week and a half. The food is the absolute star of the entire experience.I do have to advise that this is for spicy food lovers or chicken tenders aficionado(s). The menu is very small but all of them are just crushing it in the fried chicken category. The only other chicken tender shop I like is Raising Cane’s. Now this spot has technically eight levels of spice if you count 0 as no spice level. One through 7 is the main lineup of the spice level and they do not mess around. I’d like to think that I enjoy a certain level of spice in my food, but trying level four filled my eyes with tears and I ended up with a very active and angry stomach pains all night, then the morning as well. But I went back for more the food was so good. Chicken tender was pretty big in portion size and juicy. It was very moist and due to the nice crispy exterior, it definitely snapped back when I took that first bite.If there’s any downside to this joint, it’d be the location. Located near downtown San Jose, you may or may not witness some minor inconveniences. Parking is another issue. There’s plenty of garages nearby, but street parking is near damn impossible. But they do offer DoorDash and other food delivery services.If you get an itch for the heat, go get one of those succulent and crispy fireball of a sandwich. Best Nashville style fried chicken in San Jose by far it’s not even close. I eat here when I want to treat myself. I sometimes order on DoorDash and ask them to put the bun separate so it doesn’t get soggy and I can reheat it in the air fryer when it gets here it’s so good. Best food on DoorDash also. 11/10 would

The guy working at the counter was super helpful and nice. The ladies in the back also seemed really nice. The food was 10/10. Definitely more spicy than I've ever had, level 2 was perfect for me, level 4 was a lot. But the portions for the sandwich and loaded fries were huge, coslaw great, chicken great.
