UPDATE: I'm giving it 5 stars now. They changed the saltiness levels are something recently. I went a few times recently and it wasn't super crazy. The TUNA here is always so fresh and it's my favorite spot to get tuna poke. Service is crazy fast too. Parking is a little lacking and there's no places to eat except in your car.

Amazing food and great people. Highly recommend the poke bowl. Show up early for the strawberry mochi and guava cake. Go support!

Love their vegan poke bowls! I ordered ahead for lunch one day and when I arrived, they had accidentally made a tuna bowl instead of a vegan one. The guy actually checked *before* handing it to me and noticed the mistake and quickly had it remade. He was apologetic and super friendly, but I loved the quality control. The food itself was delicious as well. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Definitely one of the best poke I've had and I've tried it in many places. Order at the counter or at the screen kiosk (recommend the counter as it is easier and you can ask questions). It's kinda pick up and go as there are no seating (it is a market after all) I really like that they allow 1/2 and 1/2 because sometimes you get tired of the same flavor and texture. Got 1/2 shoyu tuna and 1/2 tako (octopus- I know I feel guilty eating it but it's so good). Opted for cucumber and tofu instead of rice and surprisingly it was a good choice and tasted great with the poke. The spicy is not too spicy. And the poke was marinated so well. I thought it was a bit salty but well balanced by cucumbers and tofu. Unfortunately I missed the strawberry mochi- no more at 11 am. The person at the counter was very nice though and told me I should come at 9am if I want it. He was nice and helpful. Overall 5 stars.

Santo Market is an absolute gem for anyone who loves Hawaiian-style poke! I am always impressed with the quality of their ingredients. Everything is fresh, perfectly balanced, and just delicious. Personally, I am a big fan of the spicy tuna and the half and half (spicy tuna and shoyu tuna). The rice is always cooked perfectly and topped with furikake. It's so simple but marinated perfectly. I haven't had a chance to try their strawberry mochi yet--I haven't been able to drag myself out of bed in time--but I've heard so many amazing things about it. They're only available on Tuesdays and Saturdays, but be warned that they sell out fast, so if you want to try it, you'll want to get there early! One of the things I love most about Santo Market is the friendly and attentive staff. Despite long lines, they always keep things moving quickly and efficiently. However, be prepared for limited parking in their lot. The wait is worth it though! If you're in a hurry, I suggest ordering ahead. For anyone who loves poke, I highly recommend Santo Market. Their ingredients are of high quality, the flavors are great and the price is reasonable. As an added bonus, the business has an incredible family heritage. If you haven't visited Santo Market yet, you should definitely give it a try.

This was busy on a weekend and they closed right on the dot. Really enjoy the fresh fish. The shoyu tuna was the best!! also got the spicy tuna which was a little bit too creamy. Loved how fresh the poke was and would definitely come back

People have been blowing this place up since I moved to San Jose, finally after a year I went a tried it. Cannot understand the hype, "freshest poke" yeah right. We ordered a total of 3 fish/rice plates coming out to $60 and none of them were satisfying. Can't understand how this place has its popularity, very disappointing. If you gave this place a 3-4/5 stars, you don't know what good food is.

I was a little disappointed since I'm a big fan of Hawaiian style poke and when I looked up where to get it around here this place came up so I was excited to try it. I got the plate with rice and fish, and they only had shoyu tuna and spicy tuna and it came out to $17. Honestly I thought the consistency of the tuna was better than most poke places here, but it was just too salty and spicy. Maybe it's cause I came closer to closing time but the amount of fish they give is not worth the price in my opinion. I would have rather just gotten a non-traditional pokebowl. They do have a sick sign outside though.

Love the tako poke here. Can't go wrong with either flavors. Perfect texture. Not chewy, meaty. The service is always friendly.

Santo Market is my favorite place to get Hawaiian-style poke! I've come here a couple times now and they have consistently given me fresh, perfectly balanced, and yummy poke. I usually get the half and half option and really enjoy both flavors. The rice is perfectly cooked and topped with furikake. They give a good portion of poke and I usually split the one order into two meals. On specific days, they make fresh strawberry mochi!! It comes in a pack of two and they strawberries are sweet, the mochi is soft, and the red bean paste isn't too sweet. The employees here are super friendly and the food comes out pretty quick. There is usually a line because it's so popular so I would order ahead if you can! Last time I went, I didn't see any tables where you could eat so it's pretty much a grab and go spot. I like to walk over to Nijiya, the Japanese grocery store, grab a drink and eat there where they usually have some tables. Overall, I highly recommend trying Santo when you're craving Hawaiian-style poke! Super yummy, good value, and they have a ton of other options on their menu.

Great authentic Hawaiian poke ran by the nicest group of people. I ordered the tuna poke - half shoyu, half spicy, and added a mac salad. The food was fresh, delicious, flavorful and affordable. This is a very popular spot so I suggest ordering online ahead of time. This way you can skip the line and arrive whenever your food is ready.

Long overdue review but Santo is one of the best places to get Hawaiian style poke in the Bay! I think I tried it for the first time during lockdown and it was so simple yet so delicious. Their poke is always so fresh and marinated perfectly. My go-to is the half shoyu/half spicy mayo tuna with rice however the tofu/cucumber instead of rice is a great blank canvas to enjoy the poke with. Another must-try is their gigantic strawberry mochi! It always sells out the first hour of them opening which is why it's a bit hard to get your hands on but they are so bomb. I believe they usually have them on Tuesdays and Saturdays but I'm unsure if things have changed since I last visited. You can also by poke by the pound! We were doing a handroll night at a friend's place and it was nice to have Santo's poke there. Highly recommend!

This little market and hole in the wall ordering section is located on the corner of the intersection. Parking is very limited so it's advised to park on the street during lunch time, as you'll expect a small crowd of people there. The service is insanely quick. I've been here a few times now and every time I'm finished ordering/paying, my order would be ready either immediately or within minutes. The Poke itself is quite fresh and tasty. Just like the authentic kind. I usually get the Tuna half shoyu/half spicy as I like both flavors. I get the large and it's usually very filling and comes with a good amount of rice/fish.

Amazingly flavorful and authentic poke. It's located in Japan town which makes for a nice atmosphere near several places to shop.
