RACIST AND DISCRIMATING!!! Let me start off by saying I WILL BE CONTACTING THE HIGHEST AUTHORITY AT THIS TRASHY HOSPITAL & filing a complaint or multiple. I went to visit my uncle, who, unfortunately recently had surgery. Upon arrival I am greeted by this Nigerian man and this woman with a very big eyes at the front desk. Before I even mentioned anything, they told me, I was not allowed to come into the hospital. When I asked why, they said it's past visiting hours, however, I never told him I was going to visit I simply walked in and put a mask on, and I was about to go to the front desk. I see a white woman standing right next to me the entire time as this man is yelling at me asking what is wrong with me as to why I'm trying to visit my uncle. The white woman standing next to me then has a man coming to the door and they walk up to the visiting center. I asked the Nigerian man behind the desk. Why it is that this woman is allowed to go in, but I am not. He said it is policy that they can go in, but I cannot. He did not give me any particular reason why or even show me whatever policy that was to me race based extremely racist and I will be making multiple complaints to the correct management.

Nine years ago I was induced into a coma in this hospital and had excellent care. Nine years later I went to ER with flu like symptoms turns out my heart is a little elevated enzymes I could not breathe and spent four hours there with the worst communication between the doctor doctors assistant and the respiratory therapist they were never in the room at the same time they were contradicting each other and at the end of the day they sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy she could not fill them, I did not receive the papers from scription just the pamphlet with the medication's and a number and she indicated that they would be filled by CVS if they called that number half an hour later I arrive at CVS only to find that their telephone answering system for the hospital pharmacy said it was closed at 6:30 in the evening so I had to drive back to the hospital pharmacy for a second time, only to be reassured by a new staff member that the other staff member was incompetent and that she was calling my prescriptions indirectly and they would be ready for me I was not the only one who's been given this erroneous information about calling in and having your prescription need met. At the end of the day I went back to the hospital a third time to beg for compassionate care and get the prescriptions that I need for my heart and my asthma as I cannot breathe! The lady tried to compare me to going to Home Depot to get things for free and I told her I am 57 years old I am on disability and I have Medicaid and it's accessible in any city in America but with a New York state insurance changes I have now been 10 hours out of the hospital no medicine and no chance of getting them from California so you wonder why people die from the flu it's because they don't give them the full care they're doing a half ass job here in California thank you New York thank you for the healthcare providers but the bureaucracy is killing us

Medicine prescribed on monday, came to pickup on friday and it was put back so i had to wait again in long line and come back another day. They dont wait for the 14 days which is the official policy.

Worst Ever. Our daughter burned her hand pretty bad and we went to the Fremont Washington Hospital ER. After treatment, they advised us that we need to follow up with Santa Clara Valley Medical Center because they have a burn center there. This was Saturday 10/21. We call SCVM Monday 10/23 and they said they never received the referral. We contacted Washington and they said they sent the referral to X Person. We called SCVM and apparently X Person is on Maternity Leave so they never received it. For a hospital, they don't have anyone covering a very important person (person who receives referrals) or have their email forwarded? And then SCVM Center BLAMES WASHINGTON for having "bad communicaton"? This is a joke. We ended up finding another pediatric burn center because we didn't feel comfortable with SCVM's communication efforts. Also, to the 2 male and female admins that called me, gave me attitude, and made it seem like I was wasting their time, I'm sorry you hate your job.

The emergency room here is horrible, the staff is also rude and when you tell them you're in pain, they don't care, I understand it's a busy place but they lie and make you wait too long, even if you ask an estimate for wait, they don't give it to you and make you waste your time, it's no only ER, I have experienced terrible treatment from different nurses, doctors and staff, I could say that there's just a couple who are good doctors and really care. I got to the the urgent care with a severe headache and told them it was a 10, and they decided to write 5, and when I asked for some medicine, they told me, they couldn't give me anything. Just don't go there, once there, you will wait for about 6 to 7 hours. So you would hesitate between waiting or leaving. If I could give zero Stars, I would.

Bad year since I have had to visit this place with my parents twice this year. Still 9 hours ER wait (even for heart patients) both times. Unprofessional staff. Stepped into the ER after 9 hour wait and first thing I notice is nurse sitting down on Instagram, 30 minutes later and she's still on Instagram lol Male/female nurse sitting on computer in front of me chatting up about traveling and showing Youtube videos. After that same guy and a few others giving another nurse a ride on a wheelchair and they are laughing it up. WTF Valley med I do think this has something to do with long wait times. Review from April 2023. 4.5 hour wait, a mess complete mess. dirty waiting room and see the pic I posted of the admin lady doing hmake up, a joke.

ER visit mid-September arriving at 4am. Within the hour I was on a bed. Nurses Benjamin and Johnny amazing despite a busy ER. Any staff I interacted with were attentive and professional. The staff definitely needs additional support and hopefully soon the facility will be upgraded and modernized!

I'm in my 70's and have been treated very well by staff and doctors, mybe im lucky, but ive had a tia, crohns for 14 years, heart stents put in ,Urology issues, searching for cancer and even was hospitalized in the New section which was awsome, they also recommended me to Sanford Hosptial to have a 5hr surgery. But ive been to other hosptials, Good sanitarian, O'conner and had issues, ,personality i think we can find good and bad and inbetween BUT Nothing will be ever perfect .

this is the worst place to come. it's not just that the way is long but the staff in the emergency department are total assholes. not only do they lie but i saw this guy push a patient on the floor. DO NOT COME HERE unless you wanted to be treated less than human.

It's a county hospital and so many patients to see. This hospital is having problems with pay with some of the doctors . Sometimes I feel they do unnecessay things to make a profit. So Overall I give 1 star

Here for lab work today. The attitude ls from receptionist and the lab lady are not suited for a medical center. If you hate your work maybe do something else and not showing up to work just to behave like that to customers/patients. The only reason i gave 3 star is because of the gentleman in the lab. Very helpful, friendly and know his work.
