The VA stand down was awesome . It's great that Santa Clara county is caring for vets to the lengths. That they are. Thanks to all the volunteers as well they were all very friendly.

Web site was hard to navigate to get tickets for. Site said parking was 10 online and 15 on site. Could not purchase on line and it was 20 on site. $16 for a funnel cake. It's been a bit since I went out to events like this and now going out with the grand kids, but $16 for a funnel cake. No, I was not expecting it to be a nickel but closer to a fair price. I see now why attendance suffers. People just don't want to get ripped off any more. I'm already paying for the wrist band but then you want to charge a convenience fee on top of that. Believe me, it's not convenient at all. In my humble opinion, not worth it, only reason you get 2 starts is because there where hardly any people there and the kids got to go on all the rides as many times as they wanted cus there was hardly any one there cus you are ripping them off.

We just saw Cirque Du Soleil Kooza . It is one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

Good amount of parking for the venue but the ground is full of holes making it feel like I am on a off road derby.

Visited Kooza. Splurged on front row seats for my partners first Cirque Du Soleil big top experience. I've seen several and can share this one was equally sensational! The videos of the skeleton-costumed guy don't do it justice...like the rest of the cast and crew, he was awesome.
One risk of being in the front row is getting dragged on stage. Tonight was my night...what an unexpected surprise! They took my shoes and socks...much to the delight of my girlfriend and the audience. In the end, it is all good, wholesome fun and an experience we'll never forget.

We went to the Cirque du Soleil Kooza show yesterday and ended up getting a flat tire. They had us park in a dirt road. Since we have a AWD, we now have to change all 4 of our tires. Also paid $25 to park at the Fairgrounds.

It's good to support your local fair. The money goes to the city and the vendors and ride operators. Most of these people deserve the income; they travel from city to city.
