Great biryani. This is the first biryani i have tried in San Jose which has more meat than rice. Very flavorful and the meat is well cooked and tender. I would definitely visit again. I got some fresh goat meat as well which was really good.

So we were looking for halal meats and ran into this store by accident. What we were pleased to see was that they also offer prepared food in addition to ethnic groceries and the halal meat. The halal meat is fresh. Not sure what other reviewers are saying, but we only order it from here. They cut it according to what we want, and trim the fat as well. They prepare it into small 1lb bags for us and have it ready for pickup.If you ever crave GOAT biryani, this is place is the G.O.A.T.!! You have not tried biryani like this. And as another reviewer said, when you get the first scoop of the new batch on weekends, it's incredible! Seems everyone knows about this place as the owner makes 1 batch per day in a huge container. Once it's finished, it's gone so you have to get it by 12noon to 1pm or you have to wait till the next day. My daughter loves the tandoori chicken legs and the goat seekh kabobs are fantastic. His serving size on the biryani is awesome and he doesn't skimp out on the meat. There is a variety of great meat pieces and meat on the bone pieces. My wife craves this on weekends so we are regulars. I place my order on the phone and he holds it for me. We have tried the curries but were not fans as the spices are a little different than other establishments but it is still good. If you want to try it before, then go to the freezer and get the Buy 2 get one free curries. We love to support small businesses and so we shop here for our meat all the time. Owner is great and they do a great job!

This is exactly why this place has 3.9 stars i simply asked one time and the first time"do you have goat meat with less bones" and the guy on the phone replied "you cant ask so many questions" and hung up.

This is the first restaurant that gives you cold food after you order. I ordered Nihari and it was ice cold no restaurant in the world gives you cold food expect this place. Don’t waste your money go get a fast food and it’s way better then this place. This is last time they will see me coming to this place that’s for sure.
