I had never been here before, but came for my friend's Rehearsal dinner. It was the perfect size for what we needed -- there is a stage and a side room which made it great to do buffet style. They did have some house rules (example- no open flame) which made a tradition unable to do but we had some great improvisation (used a flameless candle).

We held our daughters Bridal Shower here in early May. I can't say enough on how wonderful the SJ Clubhouse is. We planned on holding an outside picnic but due to rain we were required to change our venue quickly. We were fortunate enough that they had an opening and were able to accommodate our needs. We loved the facility and all of the charm and we were able to add our decorations to make it all very festive.I highly recommend this venue and found the event manager to be very responsive. I will definitely consider using this facility again

This place saved the day when my friend's outdoor baby shower got rained out. It was a warm, quaint, clean, well maintenenced location. Parking was odd but not a deal breaker. Decent sized and clean bathrooms. Nice size stage and main room, comfortably seated 100 people.

A very nice place to share with family and friends; If you are looking to hold an intimate event this place is perfect for you. There is assigned parking in front of the premises so you don't have to worry about looking for a place to park!

This is a small venue, but very nice. We are celebrating a 60th birthday & wedding. Music is awesome it's such a small venue the whole place is bumping. And toast are starting now. Our family is having a great time.

I have not used this event space and the parking is really non-existent, but there is a FREE LITTLE PANTRY box there for those in need and I can easily take non-perishables there quite often.

What a wonderful place! It's absolutely beautiful, and I'm so very thankful we had our wedding reception here.The Staff is so easy to work with! They do have a few rules that make things a little difficult (no confetti on tables, no wick/lit candles, must not touch the piano), but I understand why.There was a small hiccup with the security guard at the end of the night when we tried to leave... he was not aware that the catering company was leaving a few tables in the kitchen folded up, and would pick up the following day. He at first, did not want us to leave, because of the tables, but it was late, we had no idea who to reach out to, so we left.I would still recommend this venue to others, it was, and is a very lovely place. Mind you, it is not a large place... we had about 45 people there, and it was perfect. 4 tables that accommodate 8/10 people, and 2 tables that accommodate 5 people, plus a 2 seater head table, and a small cake stand.It was a very cozy atmosphere, and that was just the way we wanted our night to be.Thank you San Jose Clubhouse!!!

It's a lovely little place to host a small gathering/ event, but there is almost no parking on site and it's easy to miss when driving.
