Went for a comedy taping. Venue is small enough to feel intimate. Restrooms have good flow and it's easy to get in and out. It's there 2 auditoriums here perhaps? It seemed much smaller than when I saw Chelsea Handler here.

It's was nice. Compacted seating but it makes it so almost all seats are good seats. The top balcony arent bad seat at all. Felt very close

Civic auditorium is older, they've maintained it and kept it looking good for its age but for a venue it's difficult to see the stage and that kind of ruins it

Great venue easy to find . Parking was kinda hard to find . Found a garage and walked a couple of blocks . Saw Bill Burr had a great time .

Came here for the first time for a comedy show last week. I really liked the atmosphere here. We arrived early and went up to the sky bar for a drink before the show. Seating inside the actual stage area was large and honestly not a bad seat in the house.

For the past 30 years I have seen a lot of stand-up and bands at various venues around the Bay area, but this is the first time I've been to the Civic. I went to see the comedian Bill Burr. There's not a bad seat in the house it's a medium size venue, but even if you are the very back of it upstairs, it's small enough. You're not going to be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised that the beers were around $9 and not 18. Like some other venues I have reviewed. It's kind of a crappy beer selection, but I could deal with getting two mediocre beers for the evening. Staff are super friendly. The sound was okay. A little bassy and hard to hear once in awhile but not horrible. A warm chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch to the evening. One recommendation to the staff. For the floor seating stagger the seats so you're not staring directly at the back of someone's head. I looked at the layout and you've got room to play with regarding the aisles and legal distances. Other than that, I'd be happy to see another show here.

Great experience, lines for everything were long, I guess it’s an old building, but pleasantly surprised how quickly the place cleared out at the end of the event

The seating of the theater is nice. You can get a glimpse of the stage from anywhere. The sound experience is not that great.

The chairs in front were very uncomfortable, little space between rows, which caused them to hit me repeatedly and being at the same level, you can't see anything when those in front stand up.
