This Safeway is great! It’s always stocked and the employees are super friendly! I normally go late at night, so I never expect the people to be so friendly! I have gone here so many times and I have never been disappointed! I would highly recommend coming to this location for any grocery needs!

Looks like has returned to similar activity pre-pandemic. Big and clean, and offers a large selection of goods. There's also an adjacent gas station. It mirrors the other big store locations, containing a bank branch (differs at each location).

The deli workers are inattentive and rude. I ordered through their kiosk system and the cancelled my order when I went to ask the lady there was like I HAVE TO HELP THE CUSTOMERS IN LINE FIRST THEN YOU and when I ordered there was no customers in line so obviously mine was first and then after 15 minutes of waiting some man who doesn’t know how to read properly finally attended to my sandwiches and made them incorrectly and so I had to clarify what was listed on the printed ticket he was angry. Like it’s not my fault you’re upset you guys have a kiosk to order from. If you don’t like the kiosk unplug it then . Deli workers were awful. This isn’t a first time occurrence either, I’ve stood in that line many times and have been ignored. So i thought the kiosk would be a better solution until I realized they just cancel your order and move on with their day. Like sorry doing your job is so hard maybe work somewhere else

The cellular service here is terrible. Prices are expensive. I'm still going to shop there though.

There is next to zero cell signal at this location which makes using the Safeway app impossible so I suggest writing down what coupons you plan on using and sale items you wanted to check out before coming here. Service is great as soon as you walk outside.
Like pretty much all Safeways, they hide the amount of fat that is on the meat by putting it at the bottom where it's out of view to make the package weigh more. Shady and dishonest.
The store overall is pretty clean and I have not yet purchased anything from here that was bad when I got it home and opened it. Produce area doesn't stink and I've never seen anything that was well past its prime.
Update 02/20/2024: There's still no cell signal in here (at least for T-Mobile/Google Fi/Mint/etc). What year is this? The store isn't even underground or anything...

I've been coming here for two years. I live nearby so this is my go-to location, but I've been ignoring all the problems with this location. I've reached my breaking point, so here goes. The employees are so inattentive. There's almost never anybody available to help. The employees all hide in the back or stand around the registers chatting. Many times I've been glared at for daring to interrupt their discussion of vacation plans to ask for some assistance. They leave boxes in the aisles and walkways and when I shimmy around them or have to reach over to get something the boxes are blocking, the employees just look at me like I'M in the wrong. The security guards walk around like wannabe police officers with scowls on their faces. It's extremely unnerving. They watch people very overtly, it's actually creepy. I've seen them kick people off the property many times just for being houseless and having the audacity to ask somebody to buy them food. They don't bother anybody, they're starving and freezing and begging for somebody to help. Most of the cashiers can't even muster a "did you find everything." They look miserable and move as slowly as possible. There's an abandoned car in the parking lot that's been sitting there for over 2 months. The gas station attendees don't know what they're doing. How do you get 3 different answers to the same question????
Lastly, today I was going to get groceries and there was a pregnant woman with a baby on her hip asking for food for her child. The security guards were surrounding me as I spoke to her and told me not to buy her food as she was being made to leave. I told them that it was disgusting to treat a mother like that, and they told me I was being banned from the store. I can never go back because a bunch of men are scared of a mother, but I don't want to go back to this awful place anyway. Shame on Safeway!

I had to fast for a blood test at Kaiser and I'm starving, I decide to go to Safeway for a sandwich. A bad decision. I'm standing there what seems forever and no one comes up to the sandwich section, I see a lady way in the back as I walk towards her I see a man walk out I say ,excuse me can someone please help me with the sandwich's? - he answers very gruffly with super unfriendly vibes " some one will be there" I say thanks, and go back , eventually like what seemed an eternity a woman ambles on over and made my sandwich. Sadly, the sandwich tasted really bad I had to toss it. she had absolutely no love or care going into making my sandwich all The employees just seem to not want to work, so unhappy and unfriendly. I hope that they find their happiness one day.
