As a repeat customer of Safeway, I have found both positives and areas for improvement. The supermarket offers a decent variety of products, from groceries to household items, making it convenient for everyday shopping. The layout is generally well-organized, making it easy to find what I need quickly. Staff members are usually friendly and willing to assist when approached.
However, there are some drawbacks that have affected my experience. One issue I've encountered is inconsistency in stocking certain items, which can be frustrating when trying to purchase specific products. Additionally, during peak hours, especially on weekends, the checkout lines can become quite long, resulting in longer-than-desired wait times to complete my purchase.
Overall, while Safeway provides convenience and a good selection of goods, there are areas where improvements could enhance the customer experience, such as better inventory management and more efficient checkout processes during busy times.

If no hand-baskets at your door, check the other door. Grocery carts are now inside (where the bank was).

Went in this morning (5/3/24) around 6:45am to buy donuts. Lady restocking the donuts was super friendly and kind. I wanted to see if they had any gluten-free pastries, so I asked another lady who was restocking cheeses nearby.
I stood ~4 ft away from her and politely asked, "excuse me". She ignored me. I asked again thinking she didn't hear. She ignored me again, still concentrating on looking at the cheese. I asked a 3rd time and she snapped in a bad attitude, "What???", still not even looking at me. I asked if she knew of any gluten-free pastries and she said, "ask someone else, I don't work in that department" in a disgusted kind of voice.
I'm not sure who this lady is, but she needs to be fired.
Added 1 star for the kind donut lady and the kind check-out lady.

Staff is very unfriendly during the morning shift..its very uncomfortable to shop there..they are always complaining and yelling at each other.

I cannot recommend against going to this store more. The service is horrible. The produce is horrible. The meat is rancid. The entire store is run down and has the ambiance of a prison. The staff treats everyone like they are trying to rob the place. I have tried reporting my concerns to the management several times. Nothing. I will never go back to this store even though it is close to where I live. My only hope is that it closes down and something better replaces it.

Lost a loyal customer for life. Now I understand why this location have low rating. Came in to purchase my normal Starbucks and grocery. I was looking to buy a Dr. Scholl's i was confronted by a lady. instead of asking me me if i needed assistance. she automatic assume I was opening the package to steal it. This was not the first incident in this store and about a year ago. I fell down at the grocery area when the floor was wet a similar situation happen instead of asking me if I was OK ignore the situation and walk away I've been coming here for over eight years. I will never step foot in the store again, and I will make sure all my friends and social media know never to come to this location.

Worst Safeway ever! Find another one. One lane open at 7 pm and over 14 people in line. Management didn't care when informed. Very rude.

I was looking forward to shopping for $5 Friday deals today. I was disappointed to go to the deli counter and see only 1 person assigned to the fried chicken ($5 for 8 pieces). I waited in long line for 45minutes to get the chicken. Why is there one person assigned on a deal day? Why were 4 staff assigned to just sushi. The chicken needs more attention when you have a deal. When it comes off someone should pack them all up in waiting open containers while some puts more in to fry. What a huge waste of my time and all the other customers. The bakery was also sold out of $5 carrot and chocolate cake by noon. I am so disappointed.
