I asked her if she is a California Licensed Architect and she got angry. I did not see her on the CA License board as I was looking to hire a Licensed Architect for a large project and did not want to hire anyone.Not sure why she is advertising herself as an Architect when she does not hold a License.

I was fortunate to be introduced to Richa from RMG Designs. I was looking for someone urgently and contacted multiple architects. She was very flexible to take up my work despite her busy schedule. She even took some time on weekends to work on my project! She would find a solution to every problem we would throw at her and come up with innovative ideas. She would patiently explain the reasoning for any change that she would propose and give details on pros and cons of various options. She takes full responsibility of her work including answering questions from Permitting agencies. Overall, I would give her a 5 out of 5 stars!

Richa helped us design our home for whole house remodel. It included removal of a load bearing wall, structural addition to change the windows and doors, kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel and addition, title 24. Richa is very responsive and took the ownership of the whole process. After the permit is issued, we realized that the we will have to submit an amendment for the structural design and change the drawings due to the observation of roof rafter. There is no space for the GLB. Richa helped us revise the drawing and resubmit to the city with an amendment so that our remodel could proceed. Richa patiently explained to me for all my questions and I am learning a lot throughout this process. I would definitely work with her again in my future projects.

Our project was a remodel on an old house with a bad layout and not enough space, a full reconfiguration and addition to check all points on our checklist. Richa walked us through the design process in detailed and dedicated way, pricing was reasonable and understands the permit process and does homework in working with the county. She had great suggestions and came up with an excellent floorplan keeping in mind our requirements and also to keep existing walls. We had many iterations based on new ideas we had, tradeoffs with alternate designs and inputs on aesthetics and she rolled with them professionally, promptly. She has put in so much effort in our project and is truly vested in our success. We are in the middle of the remodel and she has been so helpful to answer any questions the builder has had, glitches needing architect inputs. I would whole heartedly recommend her to everyone/ anyone I can find who is considering any design work.

I found RMG via references on Nextdoor, when I was planning to build an ADU in my house. Richa took time to have detailed conversations with me before I even hired her - she immediately understood my needs, tweaked my ideas and gave great suggestions. Her pricing was competitive, she is knowledgeable about the city regulations, and took ownership of the whole design, including subcontracting with a structural engineer. The designs met my expectations - she gave time and attention to even small details. She worked with the city on their corrections, pushing back where appropriate, and recommended changes that would meet city needs. Richa is highly responsive, and takes ownership and pride in her work, as I'd expect a thorough professional to. I recommend her highly, and would definitely rely on her for my next construction project.

Richa is very flexible and patient in working thru' the architectural details. Our multi-family remodel project in Berkeley was complex - especially while dealing with 115 year old building with an expectation to bring it to current codes as part of remodeling. Richa took time to understand the project requirements and reviewed the city codes carefully and came back with workable solutions. We would recommend Richa for any size project.

Its fraud to advertise and mislead the consumers without holding a valid qualification.Please provide your and your engineers name and CA Lic Number. You need to disclose these details on your business and they need to be partners in the company to claim the business is legit in CA under professional code ethics.

We used RMG for our home remodel. Richa from RMG is very approachable and a pleasure to work with. She has great ideas and interesting suggestions to meet our needs. She is also well aware of the various city codes to ensure there wont be any delay in getting the permit. Richa's architectural drawings were very thorough and she was able to meet our expedited timeline.

I worked with RMG designs for Architecture drawings of an additional Sun Room in the back yard, an additional bedroom and living room in the front of current house. They got drawings approved from San Jose City. Very happy with overall experience.
