After an arduous month-long process they couldn’t fix my iPad with water damage, kept promising to call me and never did, made me come in twice for a pickup that wasn’t ready (3 times counting the final pickup for the unfixed iPad), and overall wasted my time. Every time I called, it seemed like they didn’t know what was going on.
- I dropped my iPad off and they told me they would call within 24 hours with a diagnosis. They did not.
- 2 days later, I called to follow up. They said they would call me back in 15 minutes. They did not.
- I called back a couple hours later and he said they will have to order a part and they’ll call to give me an update. They did not.
- 6 days later I call and ask for an update and they said I could pick it up in 3 days. I asked if they could give me a call when it’s ready, to which they said yes. They didn’t.
- 3 days later, I call to confirm it’s ready. They say the screen is the wrong color so either I pick it up like that or they will need to order the part (which I thought they already did?) & they say I can pick it up on Thursday. I tell them I want the correct screen color but requested that THEY call me. They didn’t.
- On Friday (3 days later, an extra day after they said it should be ready) I call for an update. They said I could come pick it up. I go in-person and it was not fixed. I ask that they call me with an update. They didn’t.
- 8 days later, I call. They said they got a part and can pick it up tonight.
- I give them an extra day and go in the following day but it was NOT fixed. They did not call me to let me know before I drove over there.
- The guy working takes my number down again and says he will call me with an update as soon as possible. He didn’t call me.
- One week later, I call to ask for an update. They nonchalantly said “you can pick it up”. I asked “is it fixed?”. They said “no, it can’t be fixed”.
I want to make this clear - my frustration is not that my iPad was broken beyond repair, it was the fact they strung me along, NEVER called me, were wishy washy about “ordering parts”, said it was repaired & ready for pickup TWICE only to find only out after driving over that it wasn’t ready (they could have called). This ordeal lasted 31 days and was a terrible experience. Their only pro is that they were polite when I was able to get a hold of them but that’s it.

This place is the best in San Jose to get your phone repairs. They have the best prices and customer service. I have been going here for years and Adil takes care of me Everytime and is honest and upfront when it comes to the prices and repairs. I definitely recommend.

Terrible service. The clerk did not tell me prior to purchase that he would strip my fingerprint scanner away and he gave me a screen that not only keeps oil on the screen but scratches insanely easily, he also made me pay full price (cracked pixel 8 screen) A literal scam

took my phone for screen replacement and back glass replacement. Got my phone back with no more tap to pay and Bluetooth!!! 2 weeks later my power button goes out. These guys are scamming and most likely replacing ur phone with bad parts and keeping the good parts. Be aware before you their.

I had such a fantastic service at Phone Hut with Hyder. He was actually helping out the owner while the owner was out of town. Hyder went above and beyond to help me fix my phone issue. He even let me watch while he worked because I was interested in seeing the inside of an iPhone. He took his time to answer my questions and explained everything to me, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend coming to Phone Hut as they will give you great customer service.
Hyder also mentioned that he sells phones as his business when he isn't helping out at Phone Hut, so I can guarantee that he will give you the best service possible. Thanks Hyder!

They do a good job, but they don't do us good and clear communication, if you get there at around lunch time they will have a 15 Minute break that can turn in one hour or longer. So my advice is if is around this time don't wait you will get up set like me.

Good guy tells me information and has ac and nice and chills. There's chairs so you can sit on them. They do repairs. And order parts for repairs

I had wood chips get stuck in my charging port that I could not get out for a week, but he managed to fix it within 30 seconds. Super fast and friendly, will definitely go back for any other phone issues I have.

The only reason for 2 stars is that, the staff is good. The quality of their work, or the refund capabilities are utter worse. I would avoid this place if you prefer quality, I had to replace my screen twice and I still have issues. Save your money and stay away from this place in my honest opinion.

Awful experience and unfortunately cannot recommend them to anybody. Brought an iPad to them that had liquid damage but the lcd was still in great shape , they could not repair it, but when i got home i realized they broke the lcd while they were in there. You'de think a place that only works on Apple would be better than this? asking too much, i guess.
