Found this on Yelp search. I had a CEL turn on about 2 hours ago and Rich was able to take a look for free. OBD code read a faulty thermostat, cleared it, and returned. Long story short, he replaced it with OEM spare in a jiffy for an excellent price (only labor!). Pro tip: make sure you check in.Rich, when are you going to have a sign for your shop?

My dad had recommended Pete's Stop Tire when I needed to get my car looked at and fixed. It would make a sort of scraping sound whenever I turned right so it was important for me to find someone reliable and would produce good quality without charging an arm and a leg. Richard at Pete's did not disappoint! I came here on a Saturday morning right when it opened and Richard was able to take a look right away. When I had described the sound my car was making, he actually asked if I could drive him so he could hear himself and get a better idea of what we might be dealing with. He then took a look at the car itself on the lift and as suspected, one of the wheel bearings had to be replaced. He also mentioned my rear brake pads were low but he kindly gave me the option if I wanted that done (whereas I feel like dealerships or other mechanics would pressure me and even make me feel d*** if I opted out). In this case I decided we might as well replace it. For the cost of parts and the labor, it was such a reasonable cost. I felt like Richard was very fair. Once I got my car back, I could immediately feel the difference when I drove and that dreadful scraping sound when I turned was gone. So far, I can tell it's good quality work from Richard. It was also done in a timely manner. Richard promised the car would be finished by 4pm but he notified me it was ready a bit earlier so you can tell timeliness is important to this business. Since it was pretty much an all day job, Richard let me wait until I got a ride and as promised, texted me when I could pick up my car. While I hate having car issues, overall, I'd say I'm very satisfied with Pete's Stop Tire and would come again if needed since it's in the area and the service, quality, and price are great. Thanks!!

Went to the shop and Andy helped me out with a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection). He is a very knowledgable man and here's the thing, most businesses want to steal your money by offering useless flushes and changes, but he will give you the best recommendation so that you don't waste your time and money. If you ever go here, ask for Andy, he will help you out in many ways.

These guys definitely know what they're doing. They fixed my driveshaft issue in a few hours for a good price. They showed me what was wrong with my car before and after. My car is driving smooth again thank God ?. Looks like this will be my go to auto shop!

I took my car there and after half of hour he said my tie rods are seized and need to be replaced to do alignment. I took my car to my mechanic and he replaced the front tie rods. I brought my car back and alignment was done. While he was backing up he dragged the underneath of my car on his old hunter alignment machine and ripped the shield and the jack cap off. He said this happens and he used a tie rap to hold up the shield. Very unprofessional and didn't take responsibility. To avoid conflict I took my car to my regular shop and they showed me the damage. Is costing me $200 to fix the damage.

Where do I start...I really wanted to like this place. Coming from Socal, I know just how hard it is to find a good, honest shop to build a friendly and fair relationship with a shop. Also I'm asian and these guys are asian so I thought I'd help them and make this my go-to shop. I don't care if the place is ghetto or if the first person I see is the #2 guy smoking next the entrance. When I got here, check and check. I tried to be friendly and professional, and just needed a simple change of tires and rotation. Heck, I was so excited that I even bought them lunch from the Hawaiian place in the plaza nearby! But the first red flag I saw was seeing the #2 guy drag my wheel with his foot when I was walking back from picking up food. Did it scratch up my wheel, yep. I knew exactly why he did it too. He didn't place the wheel right side up, but facing down. I think he thought this was an old wheel and that it was unusable, so being lazy he tried to drag it closer to the gate. He probably realized it because he immediately picked it up and rolled it in. Ok so the idiot I am, I didn't cause a fuss. I let it go. Whatever it's fine, it's not like I care about my stock wheels anyways. But then the real problem happens...After I paid and left, I headed towards the freeway then going about 65-70mph my car started making thunking noises. I went back and they said it wasn't the tires or wheels. Everything seemed fine.I thought maybe it was something else, so I went to the dealership and they had the engine and suspension checked, and they couldn't figure it out.So hear me out, I lived with this for 2 months looking up troubleshooting on Youtube and asking people online. I finally decided to go to a different tire shop this time (the one called Morin - it was actually closer to my apartment at the time).I set up an appointment and immediately the guy knew what the issue was. He said he'd try it and if it doesn't work, no charge. Lo and behold...he fixed it. And the kicker? He said my tires weren't balanced. He the guys at the other shop didn't actually do it. tl;dr - I paid for tires to be installed and balanced. I ended up with scratched rims from one of the guys kicking it and bumping noises for 2 months until I realized they never balanced my tires.

Horrible place, outdated alignment machine! Went in for an alignment and they did no test drive or nothing before or after, straight on to the rack, DIDNT GIVE ME A PRINT OUT FROM BEFORE AND AFTER! got it wrong so i took it back, thats when they insisted somethings wrong with my steering rack, called BS so i took it to a reputable shop, they were way off, didnt even touch the rears. They gave me a refund when i went back and showed them, but still waste of time.

Got an oil change for my ES 350 at a great price. Full synthetic. Service was quick and thorough. Shares same lot as Auto Outlet.
