Doors only have the electronic lock (no interior physical lock), I killed two bugs within 10 minutes of entering, there was glitter pretty much embedded in the carpets, and room card stopped working once a day.

Cute on the inside, but needs some tlc. Putty over holes but never painted, screws on walls hanging out, old lock on door with holes and pain peeling, some wires cutt hat I have no idea what they are. Bed is comfy. Bathroom is decent. My room got skipped for maid service the first day I was here. Didn't really care, I am not a messy traveler. I didn't realize it was a 2 star hotel until I pulled up. Now I see why. It's good for partying kids and that's what is mostly here, but for a family or trip, I'd recommend trying somewhere else.

Poorly maintained properly! Left an item in room and they did not return it!! Called to notify them and was told nothing was “found or reported”!!

This room seemed ok but unfortunately, the carpet had little stain black spots. I just checked out the mini fridge have few rust I noticed I smell of you put the bleach after I grabbed it small towel as put hot water as clean out smelly bleach due I can't have a chemical on here. Recommend you put vintage on the mini fridge instead of bleach cause rust and chemicals are not safe for me. And lousy customer service

You get what you pay for with rooms. A clean bed is all you can ask for here. No coffee or cups, only bar soap and towels in room. Great location, walking distance to many bars open late. Slow customer service.

If this were a baseball game, they would have lost...three strikes:1. We selected this place because of the pool...the pool was closed.2. There was no ice machine...we traveled over 100 miles and there's no ice?3. There was no coffee in the room nor in the lobby in the morning. We had to go out to have coffee. Never going back again...

Ok room, comfortable bed. No cups or coffee available in lobby. Not enough towels for a family of 4. Pool out of order, shows breakfast available but haven’t served breakfast in 3 years! Stuff not friendly at all. Got there a few minutes before checkin and was denied service until checkin time. Clerk wasn’t even busy just sitting. What the heck. Great location to the civic center, but that’s the only thing great that I can say. We will never come back.

Do not expect anything fancy here, if so look for alternatives nearby. It's old with many issues. But, I will definitely stay here again simply because it's cheap, parking is included which is rare on this area. My son's university is within walking distance as well as food, coffee, etc. Check in staff was so nice, had a great chat with the young man.

small room, not enough towels, pool was "out of order", air conditioning & mini fridge worked well, no bedbugs, close to the civicRooms: clean, but a bit too smug.Nearby activities: downtown is all around & many bars, restaurants and other entertainment & shopping venues are just blocks away.Safety: security staff wasn't really visible at any time, the parking lot is only open at one end.Walkability: being in the middle of downtown has access to the bus lines to go anywhere you can't walk to.Food & drinks: didn't see a menu available.

Rude stuff, no cups or utensils available, dusty rooms, hired old people for cleaners probably paying them minimum wage. On top of this they have NO WIFI in this "hotel". Avoid it!

The hotel online looks decent, but the complete opposite in person. The hotel was literally falling apart. Dirty room, dirty sheets, horrible host. Not friendly staff. You can hear the next room over from yours. The area infested with homelessness make sure you lock your doors. Never again will I book a room with them.

Trust me I am not lies. Don’t ever stay at this hotel, the owner was rude to me because I just asking about checking in early and it’s turn him to being racism says to me “ My English is bad, my accent is horrible and said he’s not welcome “GAY” (He’s not even white guy) the hotel looks falling apart. I actually booked for 2 nights and he said to me last thing is I am not pay that much to his hotel….

Do not come here. Absolutely trash. The room we got was horrendous. We checked our bed and there was hair all over the bed sheets with black specks. There were also black specks on the toilet too and some gooey consistency on the walls. It was so filthy. The manager Mark was also unpleasant to speak to about this situation. Please do yourself a favor and go to another hotel.

I asked for ice and there isn't any. They said the ice machine broke two days ago. What? They only have one ice machine for some 100 rooms? And in two days it is not repair. The motor inn receptionist does not care one bit.Our room does not have any cups whatsoever so I have to ask from the cleaning woman. Note that the San Jose airport is nearby. There would be a very loud noise when planes are landing or taking off. It will keep you from sleeping. The carpet is filthy with some brownish stain. Wifi instructions were misleading; I have to go to the front desk for assistance and I am a computer consultant!The walls are so thin we can hear any conversation outside. At around 12pm, there were several people conversing in spanish that are coming and going. The conversation gets louder and louder. One of the guests went out to ask them to turn the noise down. A woman who the request was directed to got adamant, angry and quite ballistic. All I heard are four letter words cussing the guests for asking her to tone down her voice. I couldn't find the reception number in the number to call them and report this. Okay you get what you pay for. But for $107 a night I expect something decent, a place I can sleep in peace.
