Orange theory works y'all. Trust in it when I say so. I have been to other gyms and programs, but this is the one. I've been a member for the last 3 years at this studio. They truly make an effort to get to know their members and get them to their fitness goals. Justine the studio manager is very passionate about her work and is always asking members for feedback to improve the studio. The front desk is always welcoming and has the jams to get you pumped up from the moment you walk in. All coaches here have their own music styles, but you are guaranteed a good workout every time. This studio stands out to me the most and is my home studio because the coaches really do care about you. From your form, the weight selection you choose, to the speeds on the rower/threads. They will coach you through the entire class, calling you out when you are slacking. I seriously cannot believe after 3 years of attending, no workout is ever the same. That is just unbelievable. You never know what you are walking into each class! Thank you OT Willow Glen for being part of my life long workout journey and pushing me past my limits.

I’ve been going to Orange Theory since March of this year and it’s been a great experience! I’ve tried other studios and this one is the best. The front desk staff is very welcoming, and the studio manager Justine is always looking for feedback on how to improve the studio. The team comes up with creative ways to get us to participate and the music is always fun. If you ever get a chance to take class with Adam, you’ll get a great a workout. Everyone is super social and it’s also a great place to make friends. Thanks to Orangetheory for getting me on that treadmill! Highly recommend.

I have been a member of OT from past 6 months, I decided to go after giving birth to two kids and thinking it will be a long and may be an impossible journey to get back to fitness with all new responsibilities and work. I wanted to be healthier and more active for my family, and I knew that I needed to find a way to make it happen. And OT came in and changed my life the vibe in OT started making me go a class every day, and I quickly fell in love with it. I have gained so much with OT in just a few months, I have more endurance, I dance better because of my improved stamina, and my heart health is better than ever. My Fitbit shows that my resting heart rate has decreased, and I have more energy throughout the day.I am so grateful for OT. It has helped me to become a healthier and happier person. If you are looking for a way to improve your health and fitness, I highly recommend OT. It is a great place to get started, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

TLDR, the front desk and trainers are nice, the classes are fine, there are some hidden fees, and the cancellation policy is obnoxious. As a company, Orange Theory feels kind of like that gym in Friends that Chandler couldn't find a way to cancel. Some notes:Classes: The structure of the class is isn't bad—30 mins of treadmill work and 30 minutes of HITT (weight lifting and rowing). The music is good and instructors are nice. The orange lights are cool if that does it for you. Personally, I found that it got repetitive pretty quickly and there was a bit too much treadmill work to justify the price.Heart Monitor: When you do a free class, they let you use the heart monitor which is how you get your data on the main class screens. It's kind of the whole point of Orange Theory. If you want to use a heart monitor post sign up, you have to buy it. I can't remember the exact price, but it's over $100. You can also rent it for like $10 a class. The only time I tried to do that, they'd run out of rentals. I don't remember being told about having to buy it before I signed up, so it felt like a bait and switch to me.Cancellations: The cancellation policy is a huge bummer. When you want to cancel, you have to purchase another month after after your last payment before they will cancel it. So, even though I cancelled today in August, and my last payment was a couple of days ago. I'll have to pay for it until November. Super annoying. I will say, this clause was in the contract, so they won this round.I don't typically write reviews, but I felt personally wronged by the cancellation policy and wanted to try and spare Willow Glen from the same fate. If you're signing up, it might be worthwhile for you to ask them to strike that clause. Alternatively, you can write an equally long winded review when you incur a similar cancellation malfeasance down the road.

I was told that I could come in for an intro class but was denied entry since I was only 20 minutes early, not a full 30. There was literally no one there but the coach and front desk staff, but they refused to serve me. Very off putting.

Amazing place to get an intense workout. Friendly staff with positive vibes all around. Huge thumbs up to coach Adam who cares and takes the effort to make sure your form is correct.

A bit smaller space than the other San Jose OTF's but equally great staff and coaches.

Extremely intensive workout that is even addictive. I love the front desk team and the coaches who are thoughtful and considerate. I have been going for over a year and highly recommend it to anyone.

I've visited several other OTF locations and have to say that comparatively, the front office team and studio on Lincoln Ave. in WG, are excellent! Tyler, Hailey and Kiana have been super helpful in getting me started and with membership questions, how-to's, and tips. The coaches are cool, organized, and motivating. So far, I've had the occasion to take classes with Coach D (Darrien), Angela, Kimi and Rachel - all awesome. I like working out at OTF because it's a full hour of hard work I otherwise wouldn't push myself to do, and I'm away from my phone. It's a fun and no-brainer way to get stronger, faster, leaner, and healthier. If you're competitive (like me), the stats and metrics available are also very motivating and keep you accountable. Thanks, OTF Willow Glen!

Everyone here is very professional & helpful. Justine, the manager gave me so much information during my first class and convinced me to sign up with her knowledge & professionalism, (I don’t regret it one bit) I’ve finally found a place I love when it comes to working out! Trainers are great and motivating.

Inflexible. A little bit of empathy goes a long way. I understand you have to maintain your 30min policy before the first class, but life happens sometimes and people are late. Rather than asking them to come back, be a little accommodating.

The trainers here are great, but the sales staff is only interested in your money. They push you to sign up after you take the trial class and once you sign up they don’t care. They responded quickly whenever I had any questions about membership up until I signed up, but when I wanted to cancel the account and try to reach them, they never responded. I had plans to travel for 2 months so wanted to freeze my account and they said it’s $20 to freeze per month(which they certainly did not mention at the time of signing up in spite of repeatedly asking if I can freeze my account while traveling, they said yes of course as long as you want, but never mentioned that I’d have to pay $20 to freeze per month) I’ve tried calling and texting multiple times but they don’t respond and just ghost you. On top of this they also want you to give a 30 day notice, which I did but still haven’t heard back from them and it’s so frustrating that they’ve made it so difficult to cancel the membership.
