One of the front desk girls on the Saturday shift (two ponytails, small eyes) was racist and super rude. She was literally smiling to everyone ahead of me and when it was my turn she just immediately stopped smiling and rolled her eyes while I was just politely asking for a schedule check. Very bad at communication too. Took forever for her to squeeze some words our for me.I have been to this studio since 2022, back then classes were inclusive, fun, teachers were great, good songs, relatively reasonable price . But now the studio has raised their prices, ($25 for a 50 people class with very mid instructors, are you kidding me?). The worst is that they are hiring very bad instructors. Random people keep coming in as instructors. These people don’t even dance well. And they are so bad at teaching. The beginner choreo are literally the worst and like a joke: repetitive, instructor bad at teaching, you learn nothing technical, and the choreo is ugly like those kindergarten kids exercise. Usually they even finish within 40 minutes for a 1.5 hour class and let the rest of time be repetitive filming and grouping. They never even tell you how to make your dance look better with excessive time. You will waste your money. If you are looking for really improving your dance, this is not a place where you put your tuition.

I think OOS is a great studio for it's community building, the passion and kindness of instructors and staff, and for the variety of dance offerings. The studio itself is worn having been many schools throughout the years, but is excitingly getting the floors renovated. If you're new to dancing choreo or wanting to start at the beginning, come here. You will not be scrutinized for how you move or learn. Instead, you will be encouraged to just dance and follow to the best of your ability and the classes will cheer you on. Not only that, the other students around you are so wonderfully diverse. I think things on the administrative side could be improved, but I imagine that this studio is one of multiple jobs for the staff here and believe they're doing their best.

Went to a hip hop beginner dance class and it was so fun and a great price! It was 25 dollars for around an hour and a half of learning alongside other people. The space was pretty big and there were mirrors on two sides of the wall. I would definitely go again with my sister or with other friends for a fun evening activity out. The energy was a bit awkward at first but our instructor did his best to raise the mood and let us know that there's nothing to be embarrassed or anxious about.

Poor experience. Would not recommend. Yelp would not let me post my actual experience for this place. Thank you yelp! How will people know how this business deals with paying clients??

Avoid this place . As one of the frequent customers I have received an email today with discriminating content . Making this studio unsafe place to be for me and large part of attending dancer community. This goes against their stated vision of creating peaceful inclusive and respectful place to promote the art of dance .

I've done the Bachata lessons for a month and I've gotten considerably better quickly. The instructor (Mike) has immense knowledge of the dance, moves and ways to make you better. Everyone there is there to help and encouraging as well too. I'll update my review after a few months

I've been wanting to try a dance class at OOS for years and finally made the time to go with a friend for one of their Saturday Choreo I classes with Anthony as the choreographer. The space itself fit a lot of people and there was ample space to move around. The guy at the front desk was super nice helping us check in and gave us masks to wear since we forgot to bring ours. By no means am I a skilled dancer, but not once did I ever feel bad for coming in at my skill level. The instructor and the other folks taking the class created an environment where you could have fun and learn something as long as you show up and do your best, regardless of skill level. And even though I'm uncoordinated and had struggled a bit for my mind/body to process the same thing (lol), everyone was super encouraging and I never got the vibe that people thought they were better - it was like we were all there to have fun and groove to some good music. As a beginner, I loved the pace that we went at loved the buildup of learning new moves and adding onto what we already learned. My friend and I are already talking about going back to try one of their weekday classes but all the choreo on OOS's IG page look so fun! It was definitely mentally and physically stimulating and it was cool to go out of our comfort zones to try something we don't usually do but thoroughly enjoyed anyways. Can't wait to go back!

Great environment for dancing all different types of Choreography styles. Took Rhoville's GROOV3 class with Dj Tone at 6:45pm Wednesday night!

Well the place looks ok but once inside the restrooms need to be clean, and the teacher well he didn't greet so we go to support his place from far away and he gets like "who is this stranger doing here." So not a good place to be getting bachata classes. So this place can not even get a one star.

I enjoyed every class I attend in OOS, I only gave 3 stars just because the mask is still mandated to use inside while dancing, WHY??? It’s so uncomfortable to dance and be out of breath.I’ve been going to multiple studios in Santa Clara and mask is just optional, even CDC is not mandating it! Please let your student decide for that!

Had a great time at Eric's Kpop class!! Everyone was so friendly, the dance was challenging but Eric did a great job breaking it down and answering everyone's questions. I'm really excited to come back the next time I'm free. :)

My first time taking class here after following them for YEARS! I was super excited to take Kpop dance workshop for the first time. I have always kept up with On One's IG and the creatives who teach there, so I was looking forward to finally experiencing everything for myself! The studio is tucked into a plaza with Target, Five Guys, etc so it could be a bit hard to find at first. However, I think its a great location because there's a lot of space outside for people to socialize, mingle, and even dance post/pre class! The studio itself was really clean and well kept. The people at the front desk were really nice, and helpful with getting me checked in. They made sure everyone was masked up and had their vaccination card! The class itself went super well, the instructor was really nice and accomodating for the whole class. The studio is pretty big and spacious. I love the amount of classes that On One provides, and I just recently bought their 4-class pack, so I will definitely be back within the next 30 days to redeem all of my classes.
