Terrible customer service. Been on hold for hours, constantly getting hung up on, and I just want to know where my stuff is from the corporate office. Oh, the local office did not even setup their automatic telephone service properly either. If you, the company are reading this, I will amend this if you actually talk to your customers.

I'd give this place no stars if I could. Completely unprofessional. They were supposed to show up on Saturday and kept calling and pushing back the time. I ended up wasting my whole day only for the guy delivering it to ghost me and never even inform me that they wouldn't be able to deliver it that day. Word of advice: even if you're not going to deliver it that day, you owe it to your customers to let them know. To not do so shows either cowardice or laziness.

I had the bad misfortune of using this company. I thought I was hiring North AmericaN Movers. This is one company using the good reputation of another. Before my move was over I had one of their employees arrested for theft of money, I was overcharged by thousands, my belongings were damaged and some disappeared, it took 3 weeks to receive my belongings (even tho I was told at the beginning they would be delivered directly), I was bullied and threatened by their delivery driver, and the company will NOT answer or return my calls or emails when I attempt to get a refund or find my missing property. Run away! Do not use this company.

Very poor service. They did not contact me with a delivery window, I had to call in multiple times and ask. Called in to get an update after the window passed and i got the run around. Very poor communication. No one to take responsibility. If you want things done right skip this place.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with any organization for any product or service that I have ever used. They are unethical and unprofessional crooks. Total bait and switch and then a "screw you." It is long, but please read my entire complaint. It is worth your while. We were moving from Florida to California. We got an estimate over the phone. We gave measurements and dimensions of every box, every piece of furniture, etc. We even offered to send pictures and/or have them come out in person to solidify the estimate. He didn't want pictures and he didn't want to come out in person. We scheduled the pick up for July with a delivery date two months later in September (we had bought a home in California that was being remodeled down to the studs and we could not move in until September). The company rescheduled and delayed the pickup time several times with no notice. We finally could not have them reschedule or delay any longer because we were flying out to California the next morning. We made it clear that we were flying out to California the next day and we were not coming back. They finally showed up around 7pm the night before we flew out. They loaded everything on the truck. I gave each of the movers a tip and told them thank you. They stopped me and said "Whoa whoa whoa....we talked to headquarters and we need to revise the estimate." They tried to tell me that we weren't accurate with the size of our items. What we "said was a small box was actually a large, etc." I told them we never spoke in terms of "large" or "small." We gave them exact sizes and dimensions. We even offered to send photos or have them come out in person. His response: "Either you accept the additional charge or I've been instructed by HQ to take everything off the truck." I asked him how much extra money we were talking about. His response: "Double the original estimate." Double!!! I was pissed. I called HQ and Yuri basically told me "tough s**** if you don't like the new price I will take it off the truck and you can find someone else." I reminded him that we were flying out to California the following morning, and his response to that was "Well then I guess you don't have much choice then do you?" He absolutely took advantage and capitalized on the fact that we were leaving the state for good the following morning. He waited until almost 7pm to pick everything up and then he doubled the price.....after everything was loaded on the truck.......after it was too late to call another moving company. So unethical and unprofessional. Criminal in my opinion. Unfortunately, our bad experience wasn't over. As I mentioned, we scheduled the delivery in California for a 2-day window in September after the pick up in July. Well, in the middle of August, almost a month before we scheduled the delivery, we get a call one morning at 8:30am while we are both at work. The movers were 20 minutes away and would be at the house in 30 minutes. I told them that was impossible. We had scheduled the delivery for a month later. We had no place to put anything because the house was being remodeled. Once again Yuri basically told me "tough s**** I will knock $50 off the price and meet you at a storage unit." I reminded him that they we supposed to store our stuff at their warehouse/storage facility for a 30-day period for the special rate of $1 that he had sold us. He replied: "Don't be ridiculous, we have no such special, we have no storage facility." Yuri basically told me that I needed to be at the house in 30 minutes to accept and pay for delivery or that he was taking everything back and that he would not deliver it again. I tried calling every phone number at the company. Guess what? Every phone call for every department gets routed to Yuri (his voicemail says his n

Let's get the good out of the way: the two men who picked up our belongings were outstanding. It took all day, in sweltering heat and humidity, lugging things up and down several stairwells. I drastically underestimated the amount of stuff that needed to be loaded and the revised contract they drew up on the spot was perfectly reasonable in terms of cost. They kept working, I kept plying them with water and Powerade. Honestly, I wish I could remember their names because they deserve to work for a better company. Everything arrived intact. Some of the boxes had obviously been stacked incorrectly at some point but that happens in every move. The delivery drivers were not as good but they got the job done. Hooray. Now for the bad. The company provided a delivery window of five to fifteen days. It took them twenty three. I've done several cross country moves and delays happen. Truck drivers cannot possibly control all of the variables involved. I understand this. Every attempt to contact their customer service was a miserable failure. Not a single voicemail or email was returned when I requested an update on our delivery. That's all I wanted, an update. Not a refund or a discount, just a heads up that things were delayed by weather or one of the trucks broke down. It happens. Nothing. Not a peep. I tried to call the sales agent who did our original quote and his number was disconnected. Out of frustration I called the sales department, of course that line was answered immediately, where a man named Chris proceeded to berate me for wasting his time. Yes, I understand it was five to fifteen days, we're on day seventeen, Chris. Maybe shut up and let me speak. Then he hung up and blocked my number. So there you have it. If the rest of the company were as hard working and responsive as the guys who loaded our stuff I would come running back the next time I needed to move. Unfortunately that's not the case.

North American Moving and Storage Inc. (www.northamericamoving.com) fits every description I've found of a "rogue moving company". I was contacted by Grant through their sales team with a quote approximately 300$ more than it would be for me to rent a uhaul and do it myself. Upon pickup of my items, the person picking the items up arrived in a non-fleet moving truck- it was a Ryder rental I believe. He started cursing and throwing his arms in the air saying "This Grant guy does this to me all the time, he always misquotes people and tells them half of what they're going to pay." He did the measurements and my fee jumped by $600 up from $1000. He said if I didn't like the price then I'd have to cancel the service and there's nothing I can do about it. Having cancelled my uhaul already I was forced into a corner and paid in full, being told "I'll get my things quicker since I paid in full". I was also told my items would be delivered in 5-15 business days- a ridiculous window to start with being a 700 mile drive. Fast forward a month later, 5 emails to this "Grant", 3 text messages and 3 phone calls to the dispatcher and no one has reached out to me. Radio silence. I get a text message and phone call from the dispatcher "Yair" saying to contact him urgently regarding delivery. I texted him as he wouldn't pick up, and was told to expect delivery (finally) in 2-3 days, and the driver would contact me at least 24 hours prior to delivery. I got a phone call from the driver three days later saying he was an hour away. No more than 3 minutes prior to this, got a text from Yair saying "the driver is 30 minutes away. He called yesterday and it went right to voicemail." I never got a phone call, nor a voicemail- luckily the driver explained that Yair had just given them the phone number this morning. So not only do these folks conduct dishonest, fraudulent business practices, they also lie to their customers faces. Upon receiving everything, my dresser drawer was damaged, all of my boxes were absolutely destroyed. No response from the company thus far- typical of Yair and all of them. According to the delivery fella, my belongings were sitting in storage for 4 weeks. Why? Not sure. And this is how it was when he picked it up (see photo). I'll be filing a claim as soon as they get back to me, if ever. Already filed a claim with the better business bureau. Stay away at all costs. -5/5

Beware North America Moving and Storage !!! I had my things picked up on June 19 from Atlanta to New York and was told that it would take about 1 week. It is now July 28 which means its been over a month and my items have NOT been delivered. Every time i call(weekly) they lie and make excuses saying that it is already on its way and should arrive within a few days but nothings shows up... they tell me to call dispatch and the dispatch tells me the same damn lie that its on its way to give it about 5 days... When trying to sell u their service they act like if they're the best moving company in the country offering you the best price and timely delivery, but once they leave with ur things is were the nightmare begins. This is such a mediocre phony company and the rest of the reviews don't lie. They gain their customers through lies and false promises and do not care about them or their belongings. It is scary to have your precious belongings in the hands of these crooks. I will definitely be filing a complaint with the BBB.

This company initially goes by "North American moving Systems ". They give you a quote 1/3 of what the actual cost will be. They showed up and packed my 70 year old mother at 10-2:30 am. The move will take longer than they tell you. I believe they were kind enough to speed up our delivery per moms health needs that were stuck on the truck. They did deliver 9 days later up east coast. They will not even open the truck or unload or complete delivery until you give them your full payment in postal certified check. Not knowing if all your items will arrive. They rush to leave and then you realize you are missing items. The sales man is Grant but then he disappears, the owner appears to be Yair, my delivery guy is JR and other. They did pack and wrap items well nothing was broke. This company could probably improve their reputation and business, if they were honest from the start. Our quote was $1200 but $3300 when they show up. And trust me, you are usually stuck at this point because they know you either have settlement the next day or have to leave the premises. Leaving you to pay the huge difference. Then you will not get your stuff without full certified payment. They make you very nervous from pick up, it all is very shady and dishonest. Especially after you're able to find the real reviews with the actual company name. None are good. I hope you find these reviews before you book. !! 1 star per my items were delivered without broken, although missing items.

Would even give them one star!!! The drivers (Tony Marez) DUMPED my stuff, did not assemble anything, dragged my mattress on the street (the dirt stain does not come out of my $1,800 sterns & foster mattress) they gauged my end table and every single box delivered was damaged or completely broken open. Pictures are worth 1,000 words. The scumbags who picked up and dumped my stuff cursed me and my husband out and the driver tried to pick a fist fight with my husband. They did't set up a freaking thing and ran out when I called over one of my neighbors to help us out. These two idiots jumped in their truck and left us and all their paperwork. I called the police. If he ever tries to come back he will be arrested! Called my cc company and disputing the entire amount. I opened a claim with the DOT and the BBB! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This company is a scam........ all this reviews are true, they need to be shut down and brought to justice for fraud and more.!!!!!!!! Grant Gopian and Liran which is the same person is just a straight liar, he called and gave us a totally unrealistic quote to move from Florida to San Diego, they charged us 4 times more of the initial quote. They broke several of my furniture and lost 2 big boxes with my most expensive clothes valued in $10,000 and the movers who packed my belongings they knew exactly what were in this boxes that were lost. I spoke with the Office Manager Vanessa Sanchez and they don't know where are my boxes, she stated that my lost belongings could have been delivered to one of the other different clients that hired there services. I strongly discourage you from using this company.

This company is a fraud... all the reviews are true. Grant Gopian the sales rep is just a straight liar, he calle d and gave us a totally unrealistic quote to move from California to Brooklyn, NY, I asked him several times to review it and look at my inventory.... I asked him several times if there was an extra charge for being delivered in Brooklyn like all the other moving companies were saying and he said "No, our headquarters are in NY" which I know now isn't true... that was the first of the lies, i gave him a list of all the items and it didn't matter, the day the truck came they started charging extra for items that were in the quote, i even had to leave things behind that were on the quote and my final price went from $1,250 to over $4K, that's the day the truck is there and your stuff is packed and you have no choice but say Yes.... Grant is just telling me... sorry you signed a contract, basically F you... I'm gonna go lie to some other new client.... now they are charging more extras to drop off the stuff and they are not telling us how much... they tell you last minute so you have no choice I am putting a complaint in the consumer affairs office, so if any of you wants to join me pls send me a private message or email cocoasen at hotmail
