I hired Navis to crate and ship some high value items. The truck they sent to pick them up had a large hole torn in its roof and this was on a rainy day. The Navis manager tried to convince me that this was OK. I cancelled my shipment--How could I trust them to safely pack and ship the items when they showed so little concern when picking them up?

The shipping company gave me an estimated time frame and the driver called me with the estimated time of his arrival at the pick up location. Once Josh the driver showed up, he was nothing but helpful and courteous. When I had a question about a paperwork, Josh was helpful in contacting his manager and getting my question answered. Josh was also diligent in his job as he made sure the machine I was shipping was properly secured and made sure there was enough protection. Thank you Josh and the Navis team.

I have yet to use their services. I was planning a shipment to Vietnam that fell through. They seemed to know their business and were reasonable to talk to. They were willing to work with me to meet my needs. Offered a flat rate for packing a number of items and included free storage while I collected my shipment. They understood the requirements for shipping my particular items. I would go back to them if another possible shipment came up.

Was given incorrect information initially on where and when to go and pack my items. The owners made up for this mistake by arranging to come to my house and pick up the items. Overall good service. Prices seemed average for the service provided which was crating of Fine Art.

Was told it was arranged for them to palletize some items, then when it was time, they said they dont do that at san jose store, only hayward and SFO. Even though their web site says they do.

I shipped a wing back chair from the bay area to Wisconsin and it was very well packed. It arrived in fine shape and I thought the price was reasonable. Thanks Navis!

This is my 1st review and with that being said..here is the reason. I contacted Navis because they were local, we all here shop local because its good for out economy, neighbors, friends and businesses. I am moving and with that come alot of tasks that are overwhelming especially when your moving over 2000 miles. I contacted Navis over a week ago, i was told my quote would be sent with in 30 minutes! Great news considering i have 3 already and am ready to pull the trigger soon as possible. The quote never came, i called Navis back and the receptionist said "oh i remember talking with you, i will let John know" i believe John is the owner, atleast he said so. No call ever came, i called back 2 days later, "we will have John call you back very shortly" John did call me back, he read back my email it was incorrect, this is very understandable to me, emails can be very hard to read,hear and all that mess, i understand completely..even though mine is very easy. The owner also claimed that they were behind and have many people working hard to get to everyone. John send my quote..it was missing items, so i respond back asking does the price include the items not listed? No reply so i call back, receptionist "i am so sorry, we will have john contact you immediately" this is at 9:45am. By the end of the business day with no call back i start to look over other bid from different companies, my wife starts to look into it as well with me, she contacted a new moving company they were quick and detailed about what we were asking for..better yet they called back,they had all items listed, and here is the mind blower....get ready for this..the owner of the new company says he knows of Navis and simply states..just look at their reviews on yelp!!! He did not slander them only said "just look at what other people say about the company, that should say it all". Not only did the new company respond back, we could feel they did enjoy helping, i didnt feel like i was bothering them, i did feel good about our business. Ready for the mind blower..we were quoted 600 bucks less than the companies prior. 125sq ft of items from Navis 2600 and some change.. Compare to the already paid 2000 bucks from 1 other local company. I asked the new company "i hurd its real busy right now for the moving companies"? His reply was priceless!!! "It doesnt matter how busy we are, every customer is treated like our only customer." I have been planning our move from San jose to Kauai for awhile now, i have received so many quotes and talked to so many companies and have to ad if you are ever in my position...keep looking till you hear what you want to hear and get what you want to get.

Do not use.. Dishonest and will price gouge you since the owner has monopolized the SF Bay Area Navis Pack and Ships. Proceed with caution.

We had to ship a piece of heirloom furniture across country and were looking for a reliable packing and shipping company to get our item there without damage. Navis did a spectacular job of packing our item (which was awkwardly shaped). Further, they maintained strong communication with us while the item was on its way. Delivery was easy and occured within the time-window we agreed upon. Their services are a bit pricey, but you're paying for quality and care with your items. If you're shipping valuable or irreplaceable goods, I'd definitely recommend them.
