Same story as all Bank of America's, they turn into absolute non-help centers. If you don't have an account with them, they won't cash your check for any reason. That's ridiculous on a whole other level. But they will cash your check if you have an account with them. So this is a way of strong arming customers into opening an account that they don't need or they don't want. complete waist of time and really makes the whole bank feel more like the racket that they are... keep it up BOA, maybe you can run all of your customers and potential customers away eventually. Negative-100 stars...

I have always had terrible experiences with BofA tellers. The tellers are often condescending and treat me like I don't know what I'm talking about. I don't feel comfortable asking "Dumb questions" as a young person who recently got a decent paying job and is new to banking with large amounts of money. The only reason I haven't left BofA is just because I haven't found a bank I like yet. However, today I got help from Alejandra, who didn't patronize me at all and answered all my questions without making me feel like I shouldn't have asked. Alejandra, even though it didn't look like much, you really changed my opinion of BofA!

Rude bankers...they have a bad attitude and speak with a negative tone. I let them know I didn't appreciate the poor treatment. They responded by justifying their behavior and no apologies. The mgr and some banker named Hang were snippy and rude. They claimed they were busy. We all are...doesn't justify your poor behavior and unprofessional.

There is a reason that this bank's overall yelp rating is only two stars. For the last twelve years my wife and I have filed joint tax returns, with the refund coming to my bank account since I do all the household bookkeeping. So this year when I deposited the refund check at the ATM, this branch rejected it. The check had both my wife and my signatures. We both have accounts at the bank. But instead of checking both signatures on file against the check, or even calling my wife to verify she signed, they just rejected the check altogether. The "manager" indicated the bank had changed their rules and that no, they wouldn't bother checking my wife's signature, and no, they wouldn't bother calling her to verify. I had to drive home, pick up my wife, drag her into the bank and present her in front of the manager before they would accept the check for deposit. The fact that my wife and I have been customers of this bank for 20+ years made no difference to this non- thinking manager. I will be closing my accounts at this bank shortly. Addendum on 9/2/22: The manager told us yesterday (with the teller standing there) that the funds would be available on 9/2/22 since it was a government issued check (State of California tax refund). Imagine our surprise when this morning we get an email from the bank saying that "A hold was placed on your check because check specific information indicates item may be returned." They further state that the check won't clear until 9/13/22. So is the California State Government going bankrupt? They don't indicate what "specific information" on the check is a problem. I am now in the process of moving my accounts to U.S. Bank, thanks to the incompetent and totally non-customer focused manager at this B of A branch. Addendum on 9/15/22: The bank finally cleared my California State Income Tax Refund check. So it took them from August 29 to September 15 to deposit an official government check. Again no explanation of what "specific information indicates item may be returned". It is clear to me that the jerk of a manager at this branch just didn't like me and decided to put a hold on this check with no rationale whatsoever, despite stating to my face in front of my wife and in front of other tellers that the check would clear on September 2nd. I have now completed opening accounts at US Bank across the street and will be moving ALL my banking business to them. Addendum

Michael; the "manager" at this location gave the absolute worst service I have ever received. This man is a joke of a manger. Legitimately comical. Having issues with your bank is stressful as it is and this man offered me NOTHING. No help, no sympathy, no solutions. One star for the service, negative stars for the "management". Bank of America is going out of service in a few years anyways... Now I know why.

I've been with Bank of America since 1993 and work near this branch. Every time I need to run an errand inside, the customer service is awful. Most recently I have needed to make 2 wire transfers and they are not willing to do them without an appt. When I have tried to make an appt they will push me off to another branch. The first time I needed to make the wire transfer it was urgent so I went to the Cottle location and they were extremely helpful and got me in. I let them know about my experience at this branch and they even waived my wire transfer fee. The next time I went in to see the teller and when I walked in they asked what I needed and when I told them they said there tellers were closed. I've never seen a bank open but the tellers were closed. Definitely won't be banking here anymore.

As others would say, I wish I could give zero stars. Hang Dang, who is this branch's relationship manager (ridiculous) is one of the most unprofessional and condescending rep at this location. She has absolutely no manners and seems to think it is ok to make sarcastic remarks during a difficult period. Hang Dang doesn't follow up if a situation becomes too complicated for her to deal with. She should at least contact her colleagues if she would like assistance. Ignoring a customer never works.

I don't go to banks that often anymore. I don't even carry cash that often anymore. I had to go to a BofA after a long time and this location was on the way. The staff was courteous and helpful and it was a quick in and out, just the way I like it.

Every time I come here, they're busy to help with banking questions. Only good for ATM or withdraws. They've turned me away multiple times for not having an appt. Useless Bank. I'm pulling my funds out of B of A.

Long lines, rude people and many of the workers sitting in little glass offices watch people wait in lines. Why?

Do you like good customer service? Do you like friendly people that care about your business and security? Well choose another bank or at least a different branch! Didn't mind waiting because I had no clue you had to make an appointment. The thing that made this experience so bad was the branch managers lack of control for his anger I was actually fearful for my life. When my husband asked for his card he said "WHY DO YOU CAN LEAVE A BAD REVIEW NO WAY!" There are ways to handle situations and this guy needs some serious anger management courses. I will spread the word to all my friends and family about this experience.

I walked in to this branch for a wire transfer. I didn't know they do appointments now and was told that they are fully booked but will try their best to squeeze me in. This was very urgent and had to be same day so I was nervous. But branch manager Reza was absolutely fantastic! He took great care of me, bent over backwards to accommodate me and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Also relationship banker Parul Arora did the work promptly and even waived the fee since I had to wait. Absolutely fantastic and very professional service by both Reza and Parul and I couldn't be happier. Bofa will continue to get my business.

Bank of America thinks the American people is stupid . They have the EDD depositing millions of dollars every week, but they don't want to be responsables for fraud in EDD ATM cards . Nobody works for free , they are getting something for handling Edd money's . I hope after all these frauds no one will want to do business with them . I got hacked my Edd money and they simply wash their hands telling you is not our business, we cant do anything, is EDD problem .

This bank sucks and steals your money!!! The people here do not care. I would recommend CHASE as a bank to trust, they return any fraudulent activity of missing money back to you with in 2-4 days. Also the Persian guy greeting people at this location gave me incorrect info and is full of sht: a short but simple review.

If you want good service or anything to do with business checking, go to another branch. I made an appointment and, as part of the process of making the appointment, described the type of business checking account I needed to open. For one hour, the associate did not admit she knew nothing about business checking. Before I arrived she should have contacted me to say no one at that branch could help with my business questions. The only reliable thing she did was leave me sitting alone in her office a couple of times when she needed to ask the manager something -- I realized she was going to other offices, sitting down, and chatting with her buddies while I waited, alone, like an idiot in her office. After an hour, she sent the manager to tell me they didn't do business checking accounts out of that office. An hour to achieve nothing -- they wasted my hour knowing, before I came in, that they didn't handle business accounts. I don't know what metric they are being measured against by BOFA but it has nothing to do with customer care; apparently, it does have something to with pretending to work while neglected customers make associates and managers look busy.
