This place is TRULY a gem in a world of dull rocks. The owner, Chase & his beautiful fur baby, has won my heart over. I’ve only visited the location a few times since last Halloween in 2023, but each time I go, I find a truly unique piece to add to my wardrobe collection and enjoy every conversation that we’ve had. This is definitely a small business worth supporting!!! There is no store like this in town. The closest thing you’ll find would be on hate Ashbury in San Francisco so how lucky we are to have something in the San Jose area with such a unique selection of vintage pieces.. You can tell that they are thoughtfully, curated and selectively chosen with intention and love. I have attached some photos of the awesome clothing. I have found while navigating this treasure chest. Don’t be surprised at how many great pieces you can find to add to your daily capsule wardrobe.
This store is a MUST for more than just costumes - If you consider yourself a fashion forward individual, or you like to stand out in the crowd, the then this is the place for you!!
Don’t forget to check out the second story for even more awesome selections. You would never know from looking at the place on the exterior that it houses so many incredible pieces. The store has real clothing from the late 1800s, wardrobes worn by celebrities, jewelry from princesses, debutants and estate sales, and modern day designers.

This is the best store for vintage everything I’ve ever seen , the owner is knowledgeable, funny, has stories to tell , delightful place , can’t wait to visit again and take more time to discover its treasures .

I visited this location once before and was really excited to show my friend their vintage collection. however when i arrived with her, we were profiled and the owner thought we were stealing. i purposely asked her to not bring any loose clothing or big bags so we didn't raise suspicion however we were still treated very rudely. I never realized two brown girls would warrant such a nasty reaction, especially when he was super friendly to the other white customers in the store. ALSO This store is also more of a museum and less of a shopping experience.

Super eclectic store . Lots of cool grunge /goth clothes ! Clothes varies in price and store is a bit crammed with not the best ventilation lol so, you may get a little overheated in the summer months

The owner of the store is funny and friendly. His pets hang out with him at the register. He said it's the first vintage store in the Bay! Really cool store to shop for vintage and costumes. Some items are on the pricier side but it's still fun to look around. I was finding a costume for Halloween and did find what I was looking for, but was a little bummed its accessories hanging with the costume were sold separately. I ended up not getting it because I found a cheaper set online. Nonetheless, it was a very fun experience browsing and easy to get lost browsing for a long time.

I used to love Moon Zooom, but in the past 2 years, I feel it's gone downhill. The selection is subpar and the prices are OK. I feel like in the past, there used to be some major gems. I used to look forward to the annual $1 summer sale every year. I'd find treasures every time I walked into the store. Now, it feels like it's the same old thing - unless you go to the "expensive" section which yes indeed is very nice, but super pricey. Onto the selling part of the review. There aren't any recent reviews regarding selling so I hope this is helpful to some. Unless you're friends with the owner or plan to donate the clothes anyway and just want to make a few dollars, do not sell here. You will not get a fair trade in value. Black and Brown is notoriously picky but they gave me more money for my items, and bought a lot from me. I brought in different items to Moon Zooom (all vintage) and while many items were purchased, I'm pretty certain the trade in value was much lower. They tell you it's 30% but upon calculating it - I really like it's something like 15% of what they sell the item for. They don't write down the cost per item and total up a percentage at the end - it's just an offer made up. Because of this, I'm pretty certain I was low balled, which I'm disappointed by, but that's on me for not double checking. For vintage clothing in good condition, try Black and Brown first.

My girlfriend and I visited this vintage clothing store last weekend to shop for Halloween costumes. I got an awesome cape that was black on the exterior and red on the interior. It was a perfect addition to my Halloween costume as Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon The store is very old school. It is in a maze of a house that is two stories tall and has a basement filled to the brim with clothes, shoes, hats, and costumes. I think Moon Zooom has an infinitely better selection than Goodwill stores. Check out Moon Zooom if you're looking for unique used clothing, or you just want to check out a store you can only find in San Jose!
