I'm a bit disappointed with this place. It's not amazing, and I often have to go somewhere else to find what I want. The crochet section was almost empty. There were no hooks, except for a set that cost 99$. I like Michale's as a brand, and I think their rewards program is cool. But I didn't like that they made me use the self-checkout and didn't accept my coupon. It was too busy to ask for help. And I never get any service in the framing department either.

This is a huge Michaels and it's fully stocked too. I went in here to look for a tape measure and was surprised to see how big this Michaels is. Everything is also neatly stocked and there's a cart when you need it Service was ok. They have someone near check out to see if you want to self pay or wait for a cashier. It's faster to diy check out. I would definitely come back to this Michaels!

Never will I ever come to this location again. I was looking to get a quote on a custom frame for a new painting. An older man who was working behind the counter came out and seemed unhappy that he had to interact with me. It befuddles me that a person working in the FRAMING department was clueless to answer even the simplest of questions. I told him I wanted a black ornate frame, and I could see one right on the wall, but even my pointing straight to it he could not figure out what I was pointing to ...duuuuuhhh. Okay. I then asked just for a rough estimate for what I wanted done and his obnoxious answer was custom framing is expensive, your looking at $500 at least. Okay....and that's based on what? I asked him to itemize and he acted like he could not be bothered. This rude obnoxious and bitchy man should NOT be working in any capacity with customers. He has zero skills or empathy. He is a flat out jerk. I will never return to this Michaels because of him. After his 5th bitchy remark I said, no thanks, I don't need anything from you, and walked out. The manager of this store needs to train people better, and/or get rid of those that are driving customers away.

I placed an online order back in June 2023 and I never received my order. I had been struggling for months trying to reach someone through the customer service line but no luck. I was expressing this frustration to Jesus as he rung me up to see if I could possibly handle this in store. He brought over his manager and she let me know that unfortunately they couldn't do anything in store. Jesus, however, went above and beyond and offered to call the customer service line himself. He did and I was finally able to speak to someone and was able to take care of it right there and then. Mind you, it had been MONTHS that I had been dealing with this and Jesus was able to resolve within 10 minutes. Michael's is lucky to have representatives like him. I am a happy customer and will continue to be for quite some time. Thank you Jesus!!

I had the WORST customer service interaction. I had gone in with my mother around noon to get a picture put into a frame as well as put a mat around it. The guy that was helping us had the WORST customer service skills. He told us that he wasn't able to do what we were asking so we were trying to ask for solutions. Without suggesting anything thing else all he said was, in such a RUDE tone "no we can't do that" and proceeded to just stare at us as if we didn't know anything. We finally decided to leave and as we were leaving he spoke under his breath and said "that's sucks". I have never had an employee be so rude and disrespectful to me.

I usually don’t write reviews but this is a huge shoutout to Angel from Custom Framing department. My mum and I were hesitant going to Michael’s based on reviews we had heard but we decided to take a plunge at this location and were blessed to meet Angel. From his amazing personality, to travel experiences to niche eye for amazing framing recommendations he had for my 8 canvas paintings from my travels across this world, Angel has made me so so excited to see the final product. He took his time to make sure we are satisfied with the frames we chose with incredible recommendations and suggestions that made me go like wow.. this guy is definitely the right person to go to. Do not even think twice and go to this location if you are looking for custom framing. We were lucky that Angel did not have many customers so the wait time was very reasonable but ideally an appointment would be best as he takes his time with his customers (as I said before) and rightfully so. Thank you Angel for all your amazing support!

Why bother offering curbside pick up if nobody even looks at the notifications??? I sat out there a long time before finally going inside. Nobody was even aware I had checked in and was waiting. All in all ended up taking about 20 minutes to get a simple order.

Boy framing is expensive. The guys in the frame department were actually really nice, but three custom frames cost me about $1200! I tried to do anything to get the price down such as sign up for wards card. Look for coupons online. use my husband's senior discount, etc., but none of these would help with the cost of the "custom framing". They have exclusions for this service, and so it is exorbitantly expensive. I ended up leaving my prints there to be framed, but I'm not happy about the price I'm having to pay, I will have to look around for another place next time.

I appreciate Michael's, being able to wander & explore different tools, items, & ideas will never get old to me, & I appreciate how the workers let me do just that haha! I can spend hours in the store & never feel rushed to pick an item, almost like a "meditation" just finding and picking everything with ease feels great, even when I check out, it's like they can tell I am cooking up something and just say see you next time :) Let's make sure Michael's is always around even during these hard times!

This store no longer has workers at cash registers for checkout. They have replaced humans with machines and expect customers to do the work of an employee for free.

Horrible customer service with staff that had no desire to take my business that would have been worth several hundred dollars. Walked in and would not be seen at the custom framing department. Attendant at the counter was doing absolutely nothing and said I needed an appointment despite there being no business and no work being done by him. Having shopped at Michael's for years, I was disappointed and will not be returning.

It's been a while since I've been to this location, but it felt a bit low on stock of most things. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with the new holiday, new fixtures, or what - but it felt like there wasn't much to see or choose from aside from the Christmas selection. I ended up coming here and I felt like the friendliness and availability of staff was much lower than previous experiences - including those at other locations as well. I reached out to a staff member for help and she helped, but it felt like the friendliness, interest in helping, and general success in helping fell pretty short. I've been to Michael's where in the event that a product wasn't available or was missing, I'd be asked what project I was working on and guided to another product/solution to ensure I could complete it. However, this visit felt almost like the best I could get was available - and that wasn't saying too much. I do appreciate the girl for at least showing me another possible location, because the store was really empty of things, but I felt like a bit of a bother at the same time. I think given Michael's is taking a self checkout approach, most staff members don't feel engaged to help out or less obligated to do so. The small talk at the cash register is instead replaced with silence as you scan and bag your own products. "Did you find what you were looking for?" Is now gone, and in a post pandemic world, less social interaction feels louder than ever. I haven't been to other locations yet to notice the new change, but it does feel like a sad change and end to an era. As someone who shops and does self check out at the grocery store, the craft store always felt like a nice and stress free place to connect with artists and get advice about projects too, but sadly that's been replaced. Hopefully the stores excitement and abundance in eye catching decor return again, because a relatively low product store with no cashiers and limited interaction felt really sad. I don't even remember if music was playing? But it was midday so there should have at least been some sound. The only bright side was that the register's self checkout didn't give any problems despite being newer. It's just sad to see another thing change.

Let me just say Angel in the frame department is absolutely perfect! I was a little bummed that my logo came out the way it did but he gave me ideas to fix it. I'm having a grand opening of my business and didn't expect my picture to look like that. No fault of theirs but my logo material. Angel even pointed out a flaw that was caused by Michaels but no problem because we got to redo it. We even came up with an idea to make the replacement even more beautiful! Angel really made my night! I can't wait to get it replaced and see my logo in my custom frame by Michaels!
