. I wanted to cancel my plan shortly after making the purchase because of change of plans. I went to the store and the individual assisting me said to call customer service and that it would take a month before my service gets cancelled . I did, only to have customer service tell me I can cancel the line same day and I dont have to wait until the end of the month to cancel it. He also told me that the store can cancel the service on their end. I go back with the service agent on the line and handed the phone to the manager. Now, I’ve worked in customer service for a few years and am familiar with how managers can be. The manager was very unprofessional not only to me but to the service agent. In the end, I still have to wait the month. But, that leaves me wondering with why the store and service line say two different things to the customer. Safe to say that I won’t be a metro user anymore, because the way in which they handle these situations is unprofessional.

This location is a ripoff!! They force you to activate your device in their store so that location gets the credit. When I called the toll-free number and spoke to a representative, they told me that this was not the policy and agreed to credit my account the amount of the activation fee. This was done while I was standing in the store making the purchase. My suggestion would be is to choose another location, or call the toll free number and possibly order your device online. To the Owner that replied;I DID give your store another chance to do right, when I went to return the phone. I am a disabled person who spoke with customer service about that model phone not being conducive with my disability. They were able to locate the phone that I had prior, and set up the sale. I was instructed to First return the phone for a refund, then go purchase the phone that customer service had waiting for me. The attendant in the store gave me a hard time, and would not refund the phone. I reached out to my bank and explained exactly what the situation was, and they refunded my money immediately. I still tried to return the phone letting the clerk know my bank had refunded me. He still refused. Your store (which is in my neighborhood) is just an authorized dealer, and not a corporate store where I was instructed to go. I understand that you need to make money as well. However, only stocking your store with items that force people into final sales is an unfair practice! I was lucky to get an agent from MetroPCS to explain how authorized dealers are different from their corporate stores. I think all customers need to know the truth about that.

This is one of the stores actually owned by Metro. It is always super busy, but well kept in a convenient location. They have security and they staff are very knowledgeable. This is one of the two location I've went to for my cell phone needs and they have never disappointed.

I had purchased insurance for my phone... Turns out you can't even use it at metro, you have to go home on and fill out an application from your computer... and it takes over a week to even get a phone(if these people you never talk to approve you that is)! So thats really my fault for not being able to see past the deception of phone insurance. So I've been asking people and so far I haven't met a single person other than the metro lady who knows this. Ok. Part. 2: I tell her I can't wait that long please just sell me a new phone and cancel the insurance. So she sells me a Galaxy A12, double the cost of the last phone almost and it RUNS SLOWER and OFTEN THE BUTTONS DONT EVEN WORK. And it runs on 4g not 5g like the last one. I feel like metro is deceptive and does not have your interests in mind at all, just a sale. Well, maybe I'll sign on a plan with another company!

The only reason why I'm giving this place a 5 star is because of your associate Ulises. He made the transaction so smooth and easy (compared to other people.) Not only does he treat customers with respect, but his communications skills through out the whole process was excellent. I recommend everyone to be helped by Ulises!!!

I came in today just to check up if my credit payments were rolling over to the next months payment. The Manager there ..was very helpful. He took a look at my plan and took off some fees for services I clearly no longer need or us anymore. My monthly bill was lowered by at least 10 bucks. He was quick and helpful. Im going to this store when I am ready to purchase a new Metro phone. :) Im happy.

Summary: Go to the corporate stores by checking on the website if you want good service and don't want to be robbed.Long review: Me and my mom were already on metro and we were looking for any carrier that offered a good rate and discounts on new phones. We also wanted to add two more people to our plan, and we were looking around in other carriers for the best plan. This took many days of going to individual shops, since the carriers didn't have all the information in detail on their websites. After a lot of searching and weighing the pros and cons we settled back on metro because of the 120 for 4 lines with Amazon prime and hotspot offer. But the fact that a lot of the metro stores are independently owned, including one inside a smoke shop, didn't help how tired we were after days of driving from shop to shop. In one of the metro stores the employees even lied to us by saying that all other stores were out of the phone we were looking for, among other lies like the amount of tax we had to pay. What we didn't know was that there were corporate stores as well, and those were company-owned stores with properly trained staff like this one. First of all this was a big standalone store, unlike the little counter in Oakridge Mall. Secondly there were 5 to 10 employees including one who greeted us at the front and directed us based on our questions. Right away we felt a vast difference in service between these well-trained, polite and friendly employees and the somewhat indifferent ones in other outlets. Ulises first came to us and helped us out very politely, and later Jef, who I think was a more senior employee, took over when we had some complicated questions. He was very experienced and explained everything in a transparent way, unlike in other outlets. He charged us correctly and so we found out that the other stores were lying to us.It really seemed that Jef and Ulises cared about our situation and gave us their full attention. My cousin, who had worked in retail before, commented on how the atmosphere was very friendly for both customers and employees. Jef told us that on the website's store locator the corporate stores have an orange bubble on them and the individual dealers have a purple bubble, so be sure to only go to the corporate ones. Google maps doesn't tell you the difference.

this is really 0/5 stars. i went there trying to add 2 more lines to my current line so i would be able to get the 4 lines for 100. The lady worker gave so much attitude. it was so unprofessional and i felt uncomfortable being there. Not sure what her name was, there were two girls, one of them was named Guadalupe. This really ruined my experience with metro and will be switching my phone line. Disrespected my family and i and was just so unprofessional. Guadalupe needs to be talked to by the manager for her absurd attitude. We waited an hour for her just to tell us that "our account was frozen " However we went to the metro on capital in the silver creek area, and they did it less then 30 minutes.
