The customer service at the 400 E Santa Clara office is run by bigoted haters. I've been a customer of Metro for years and enjoy the services provided. However, my last visit at the location previously mentioned I was treated pretty much as usual as the gals there went into their hater mode. I will never go to that office again, especially after being called an "old man" in the most derogatory manner.

This is one of the stores actually owned by Metro. It is always super busy, but well kept in a convenient location. They have security and they staff are very knowledgeable. This is one of the two location I've went to for my cell phone needs and they have never disappointed.

I had purchased insurance for my phone... Turns out you can't even use it at metro, you have to go home on and fill out an application from your computer... and it takes over a week to even get a phone(if these people you never talk to approve you that is)! So thats really my fault for not being able to see past the deception of phone insurance. So I've been asking people and so far I haven't met a single person other than the metro lady who knows this. Ok. Part. 2: I tell her I can't wait that long please just sell me a new phone and cancel the insurance. So she sells me a Galaxy A12, double the cost of the last phone almost and it RUNS SLOWER and OFTEN THE BUTTONS DONT EVEN WORK. And it runs on 4g not 5g like the last one. I feel like metro is deceptive and does not have your interests in mind at all, just a sale. Well, maybe I'll sign on a plan with another company!

First of all let me start by saying the store doesn't HAVE to do anything for you. You can order sim cards by phone and only pay for the sim card. This store will not sell you the sim cards even tho one of the employees was willing to he was stopped by another employee and pretty much told me that they cant sell me the sim card and they have to activate it for me. If you call theu will send you one then you can activate your phone without being charged activation fees. Right now they have a promotion where you get 100 Mastercard so dont let them rob you of your promotional offers. Please don't let them take advantage of you. That being said the young dude was very helpful and the lady even tho she was with another employee decided to intervene in his sales. Never go back into a store. Always call or use online.

I am beyond done with this stores lack of listening and following through with their promises. I have had every phone i bought from this location hacked or tampered with and when you arrive and try to explain it they stare blank and say. Well just factory reset and that will erase n take everything off the phone. Everything huh. Is that why when i erase everythi g ut still knows my info and even asks for my screenlock. It's simple. They need to educate these people. They all say the same rehursed response while fumbling through your phone saying reset permissions or those aoos you didnt download came on the phone... A week after I got the phone it began giving me 5 to 10 new apps all related to monitoring what my phone was doing. If that aint the kicker this is. They know my ohone is not getting calls and texts but I got a waranty phone coming to me that arrives and i showed up 3 business days later. Not there yet. Called on 5th business day.... Nothing here. Show up 6th day. Nothing. Call on 7th day. No sir nothing here ..... Show up 9 days after order. Sorry it sometimes takes 5 to 7 days....when we tell you 3 to 5.....what? Top it off with this cherry. I call today.... Two days after showing up n getting nothing......they returned it to the manufacturer after 7 days of being here... What the actual #@$%! They dont take your business seriously. Think about it. Great discount phones for new accounts...but once you're there full price and no option to make any good phone worth buying. I'd give them zero stars but thats not an option. Lucky them.

The only reason why I'm giving this place a 5 star is because of your associate Ulises. He made the transaction so smooth and easy (compared to other people.) Not only does he treat customers with respect, but his communications skills through out the whole process was excellent. I recommend everyone to be helped by Ulises!!!

It's a nice little place where you can quickly come and make your payments buy new phones or accessories that you might need friendly customer service answered every and any questions that I had and they even offered with different choices definitely will continue to make my payments here or if I need any accessories for my phone or a new phone I would most definitely be here plus it's very close to my house

I just walked in asking to purchase A galaxy S10e, the sales lady at the front counter I was working with told me they didn't have any in stock. I then asked if any of their other locations had one, without hesitation or checking on the computer she said none of the other metro pcs stores had that phone..... Shocked and in disbelief I called another metro PCS and it turns out they did have then in stock. The complete lack of customer service and blatant lie to my face is the reason I will not go back or recommend this location.

Summary: Go to the corporate stores by checking on the website if you want good service and don't want to be robbed. Long review: Me and my mom were already on metro and we were looking for any carrier that offered a good rate and discounts on new phones. We also wanted to add two more people to our plan, and we were looking around in other carriers for the best plan. This took many days of going to individual shops, since the carriers didn't have all the information in detail on their websites. After a lot of searching and weighing the pros and cons we settled back on metro because of the 120 for 4 lines with Amazon prime and hotspot offer. But the fact that a lot of the metro stores are independently owned, including one inside a smoke shop, didn't help how tired we were after days of driving from shop to shop. In one of the metro stores the employees even lied to us by saying that all other stores were out of the phone we were looking for, among other lies like the amount of tax we had to pay. What we didn't know was that there were corporate stores as well, and those were company-owned stores with properly trained staff like this one. First of all this was a big standalone store, unlike the little counter in Oakridge Mall. Secondly there were 5 to 10 employees including one who greeted us at the front and directed us based on our questions. Right away we felt a vast difference in service between these well-trained, polite and friendly employees and the somewhat indifferent ones in other outlets. Ulises first came to us and helped us out very politely, and later Jef, who I think was a more senior employee, took over when we had some complicated questions. He was very experienced and explained everything in a transparent way, unlike in other outlets. He charged us correctly and so we found out that the other stores were lying to us. It really seemed that Jef and Ulises cared about our situation and gave us their full attention. My cousin, who had worked in retail before, commented on how the atmosphere was very friendly for both customers and employees. Jef told us that on the website's store locator the corporate stores have an orange bubble on them and the individual dealers have a purple bubble, so be sure to only go to the corporate ones. Google maps doesn't tell you the difference.

I had the best customer service I've ever had with any Metro PCS store. I walked in not knowing all the options and right there and then they let me know what I can do.

Come in asking if they have a glass screen protector of a Galaxy Note 8. They lady that dyed her hair all blonde. Didn't even bother looking up , just said " NO!" Well , too bad. Going to Sprint across the street then. Worst customer service ever!
