I went here at lunchtime trying to match my favorite lipstick from another brand that was discontinued. Sandy was so incredibly helpful. She found me two shades of lip color that I love. She provided the best customer service and also many samples I could take home to try some of Merle Norman's other products. I will be back not only for the makeup/skincare but also there were many other items that I know will make great gifts for upcoming birthdays like jewelry, purses, glasses, etc.

The owner is experienced,stylish,cosmetically trained, and knows her facial and makeup techniques. I have purchased Merle Norman cosmetics for many years and would not be withiut them. The quality and beauty of their products are excellent. The shop also has jewelry and purses, so a trip to Merle Normans is a shopping joy!

I visited Merle Norman for the first time and had my ears re-pierced. So far I'm healing well and following all instructions given to me. Got my ears pierced here, loved it, and brought my daughter a year later. I am allergic to every kind of metal, even gold, which is why I let my holes close up. The earrings here do not bother my ears. I believe they're made of stainless steel. Super cute place.

I took my daughter in because her ear piercing had closed. Sandy gently reopened one ear and re-pierced the other. She was kind and patient. My daughter ended up with two pairs of earrings and a gift for her mom. I highly recommend Sandy!

Hello, My husband took my teenage daughter, Alexis, to the Merle Norman Studio located at 1535 Meridian Ave Ste 20 - San Jose, CA 95125 this afternoon. She was looking for some advice regarding an ear piercing that had closed up (pierced at a chain store in the mall). Sandra provided her professional recommendation and was able to perform the service immediately. My daughter raved about what an amazing experience they had in the store. How nicely Sandra treated her and how special she felt. My husband was very impressed with the store, the service and the pricing. Overall, an amazing personal experience you just don't find very often these days. Thank you for this! My daughter wished she had known about Merle Norman before she went to the mall and plans to recommend to her friends. Please continue to shop and support local, independent businesses whenever possible!

Sandy, the proprietor, is fast, efficient, and knowledgeable with ear piercing. She has deft, skilled fingers and is gentle. I selected her because she has 32 years of experience. She pointed out my birth month studs. I chose the pearl studs. The backing is secure. She provided instructions on how to turn and sterilize the studs while on my ears. My purpose is to enlarge the piercings in order to wear earrings that require larger piercings. The earring were $25. The special pierced ear cleaning solution was $5. She had me select a bag. I chose the butterfly bag to which she gifted me with four facial products. She is kind and welcoming, putting one at ease.

We took both our daughters to get their ears pierced here. Sandra was very professional and kind. She explained what the procedure would be like and all necessary after care needed. When we came back to get more information 8 weeks later she was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done. She replaced a backing on one earring making sure everything was sanitary. She also gave my daughter a goodie back so she can experiment with makeup. We would highly recommend having your ears pierced. Sandra has been in business many years and is very knowledgeable, patient and professional.

What a treat in cosmetic shopping! Sandy was so personal, with a genuine desire to find what you are looking for and make efficient recommendations. Her little shop is cozy and is the polar-opposite of Ulta or Sephora's overwhelming options and young, indifferent staff. I have such a hard time finding lipstick in light shades with just the right tone for my light skin. I found two here! If you are in the area, it is so worth popping in to see what they have!

A great experience! Sandy is very kind and helpful, with no hard sell at all! I went in to get color matched for my ultra foundation and she nailed it. Then I walked out with some goodies and a tote bag - and, again - no attempts to sell me more than I came in for. I will definitely be a regular customer.
