It is a nice place to shop as a Vietnamese and Spanish. They probably have all the things you looking for your meal ingredients. But they put on sale very few so if you found something on sale that you want, grab it before it’s gone. Love to shop here.

12/9/23 Prices are good but the 3 butchers ignored me at first. Then one of them came to assist me after pressing the service button. Then he didn't want to help me and motions to another guy to help me. I guess the second guy wasn't thrilled about helping me and walked past me to continue cutting meat. I waited another couple minutes and started to walk away feeling they don't want/need my business. As I walked about 10ft away to leave, the second guy turns around and calls me back. I told him I thought you didn't want my business. I ordered my pork ribs and had him cut the slab across the bones so I get 1-1/2" bones to make sweat and sours spareribs. Nothing worse than being: 1) passed over to another butcher. Then 2) ignored

A good place for Chinese/Vietnamese groceries. Produce is often cheaper than 99 Ranch. Overall, not too different from the Marina in Milpitas and a great option if you're in South San Jose.

Went here today to get some marinade and a 10 pound bag of sunlee rice. It's the bag with the Buddha in front of it. So this location is old and dingy but I needed rice and it was along the way. I went to pay and the bag rang up 10.99 for the ten pound bag. The cashier was trying to find the barcode and when she did she scanned it. I seen on the register "10.99 sunlee 10lb rice". The man who I guess does bagging came by and seen it. He then tells her to put in some code. Like 58 something something. She looks confused because it rang up. She turns to the other cashier for help and even she says yeah it rang up so it works. He kept repeating the numbers over and over. By this time mind you, I inserted my card and pressed in my pin, just waiting for the cashier to press accept and give me my receipt. Then the man and the cashier kept going back and forth until the head cashier who's behind the counter asked what's going in. The man tells her it's not the right number but the cashier said it rang up. Then the head cashier told her what to do. So she input that new number and voided the previous scan. It now says "jasmine rice 10lb" no longer the brand but instead it's 13.99 now. They didn't say anything to me and processed it. $3, it's whatever didn't want to make it a big deal but they way they went about it was shady business.

This afternoon I went to buy a product at the marina and they had the wrong tag, I told the cashier that there was another price on the shelf. I had already paid for it but the cashier didn’t give the product and money. Instead she put it on the counter where the manager in charge was to verify the price. I followed the person to verify the price and showed him where it was and he checked it. He told me that tag was wrong, which was another brand of the product and when I returned to the manager, she started to raise her voice and The person who checked the price told her that the price was good, which was not true. I started to complain to Maria (the manager). When I mention that she need customer service clases and respect the prices on the aisle her response was, “No I don’t have to plus I don't have to bow my head for every complaint” those were her exact words. Plus she also wanted to scold me for not leaving the money on the display case, because she did not take responsibility in the first place, I did not leave it there. When I stop by at the store I always see that she doesn’t respect the customer and treat them like they are not welcome at the store. I never thought this would happen to me.It was around 3:15 and I asked for her supervisor and she refused to answer. She was very unnecessarily rude.

I recently went here and came to the seafood aisle to get crab. It’s all out In the open with flies all over it and I figured I could just wash it at home but when I opened the crab it was a weird yellow color inside, all sludgy and smelled really bad so I decided to throw it away. Also, the celery I bought had MILLIONS of tiny bugs (like gnats) living inside, sooooo many that’s I just decided to throw it away.Came out on the news a while ago that their meat and seafood is contaminated because of the way it’s handled and not enough ppl know about this. Marina FOODS used to be pretty good when I was a kid but ever since it changed to marina GROCERY it has gone downhill really fast. Only get rice and noodles from here and maybe sauces but always check expiration dates before buying. Very affordable for certain things but never get meat and seafood. Not worth the risk.

Omg how are they still open ???? Bought a few oyster and the smell they gave off after barbecuing made my neighbors sick, it was so strong! They were all blue and green on inside ! We also got chicken from there when washing it I noticed a clear slime substance all over it! I kept rinsing and washing the chicken, but it seem like more and more slime was coming out of the center of it! Please check your food if you stop by here.

Marina Grocery is good for lots of things:A whole section is dedicated to instant noodles that come in the disposable container, where you put hot water then allow them to steep for 5 minutes at lunchtime. Plus a whole nother aisle is for noodles too. Rice noodles, egg noodles, mung bean noodles --all types of noodles. Maybe pasta noodles, but actually I've never looked for spaghetti noodles or some such.An entire aisle is for seasonings. Many different brands of Soy Sauce, Rice Vinegar and Fish Sauce. Kikkoman, Marukan and 3 Crabs are your go tos for those. Don't deviate from these, let me save you some trouble here. Then, on the other side, there's like 3 dozen options for pho seasoning, that's going to take you a while there. That's another benefit of Marina Grocery is they have the beef for pho. Oxtails if you want, but those are more than double what you'll pay for the regular shanks with the circle bone in the middle. Beef hearts for making anticuchos and tripe and gizzards and chicken feets and livers if you have time like that. Multiple kinds of fresh fish, though the Marina Grocery in Cupertino is waaaay better for fish and seafood.Everything for making mochi is there. Which is only like 4 ingredients, but you know what I mean.Olivera Jumbo Eggs, many tofu varieties, 4 or 5 different mushroom choices and sometimes good produce, but not very often. For produce there's the Filipino store at Quimby and White, next to Carl's Junior.
