This Lucky store has the advantage of being 4 minutes from my home.On a night like tonight, the night before Halloween, that's a good thing. I am making cookies and had to make no less than two separate trips to the store for ingredients. ?I can count on the store to have all of the major brands and all of the ingredients that I need for any of my cooking adventures. Tonight was no exception,I also needed a pumpkin and on the night before Halloween, they are all on sale! Cinderella pumpkins in different colors, some with warts and some smooth, for $5 each! I didn't have a pumpkin for Halloween but now I have some amazing ones thanks to the lucky store.As for the basics, the store has four self-checkup registers but none of them were open tonight by the time I arrived. They had one lane open and the young lady working it made that second trip worthwhile. Friendly people who are always ready to help.

Self check out was easy but I forgot the ice. So I had to go back in line to buy from checker and then after I purchased, all they had was block ice!! Ugh!!

Very low end items (not a single pasture raised egg) with non competitive prices. Also seriously needs a remodel as it looks the same as it did in the 90s.

Review is for bakery.Very grateful for the Lucky's bakery. The baker I had hired to make my son's desserts wasn't able to make his dessert and I found out only the night before his party. I placed the order for cupcakes at 8pm and had these the next morning. The bakery exactly made the cupcakes as I needed with solid colors outlined with white and I added white chocolate chips to go with our party theme.

Place is clean with a lot of variety. There's a deli and a bakery. I always leave with more items than I need, similar to Target. I only go there during the late morning on Thursdays or Fridays and it's not crowded. There's only ever one cash register open but there's never a long line for self checkout. At most I have been behind two people.

I always shop at lucky store on capitol expressway . But this time I tried this location since I was in that complex. This is the worst store that I have been to recently. The store itself is very old, no sanitizer at the entrance, a guy not properly wearing mask at meat section and no bright lights. So many things that disappointed me and I will never shop at this store no matter what.

I really want to give this place zero stars or -5 stars. This is the only place I come to that’s next to my house and whenever I go to the deli department To order 2 or 3 pounds of chicken tender around 3, 4 or 5:00 PM they can never make it. But if I go to the other Luckys or go to Safeway or any other surrounding supermarket they say yes come on in. I already complains to the corporate office and to the managers before and it’s no use. Now I have to drive to another Luckys that said yes we can make it. what a shame

Recently I had visited luckys and while at the register paying the manager and cashiers were talking about how the Christmas Socks and beans were on sale for 50 cents. All the front end cashiers were gather the items they wanted. There was still some left on the shelf. When I asked if I could purchase The women behind the customer service desk who just annoyed to her co workers said that they aren't on sale. So I asked if only employees could purchase for the sale price. It's very sad that luckys managers choose to only extend their discounts to theirselves instead of customers as they have the conversation in-front of us. Bad business

This review is for Hermelinda for very poor attitude & customer service. I came to safeway with my family just to purchase 3 bags of shrimp and 2 gift cards. We accidentally got 2 bags of the wrong shrimp size, which was on our part but we even rushed back to switch them because she told us the difference in price and we just wanted the 16/20 and got 13/15 by accident. However, the cashier still made a big deal about them for whatever reason but we let it go because it was sort of busy anyway. But when the customer after us forgot to place the divider between our items, we said it wasn't ours and she proceeded to blaming on him for not placing it because she has already scanned one of his items with ours, even after he said sorry when it was an honest mistake. After scanning our items, she just tossed everything aggressively to the bagging area and continued to toss our items into the paper bag (thus making tears in the bag that we paid for) aggresively while shaking her head. We also wanted to change the value of the Lucky's gift card from $100 to $50, but when we asked her nicely, she sighed and looked really irritated to change it and just stood there? --when we're the ones buying the items anyway. My mom said to just keep it at 100 but it's not acceptable since we asked her nicely to change it for us. The register suddenly stopped working or slowed and she continued shaking her head as if it were our fault and she then had to rescan each item. However, she then again grabbed the bag of shrimps aggressively to scan it while slamming it on the "scanning light" multiple times, which is alarming because that could literally break the frozen shrimp, taking out her anger on our produce. When it wouldn't scan, she literally threw it into the paper bag again and grabbed repeated the same thing. Honestly at this point, we were still extremely patient with her and didn't bother saying anything while she did these unnecessary actions & attitude towards us as customers but this should be taken care of because it's very unprofessional and ridiculous.

Been coming here routinely. Pharmacy is handy to have. Employees are helpful. Today I saw a male employee pushing a woman in a wheelchair helping her shop for her groceries. That's what I am talking about. Will continue shopping here. Thank you for keeping my shopping experience pleasant.
