I had the weirdest experience while shopping at this Lucky's on Nov. 11 at 7:30pm. I was in the produce department looking for jalapeños and tomatillos, the shelf was empty of both items. I asked the nearest produce employee (Hector) if he could check the back to see if they had any more, and without even looking at me, he pointed me in the direction of the empty shelf. I told him I already checked, the shelves were empty, which is why I was asking him to check the back. After this he became very aggressive and confrontational. He stared me down for a good 5 seconds (as if he was challenging me to a fight, VERY hostile behavior) before he demanded that I say please. After asking for the third time if he could PLEASE check the back room for the items I needed, he started clapping his hands and cheering very loudly and sarcastically. I don't know what Hector's problem is, but I definitely won't be returning here or to any other Lucky's until I am assured that something is done about this. When I shop for groceries, I don't want to be treated in a threatening and condescending way when I approach a store employee with a simple request.

My recent shopping experience at Lucky Supermarket left me with mixed feelings. While I was able to find most of the groceries I needed, there were some notable hiccups that impacted my overall satisfaction.Firstly, I was disappointed to discover that the eggs on sale, which had initially drawn me to the store, were completely sold out. This left me slightly frustrated as I had specifically come in for that deal.Another issue arose when I attempted to use the self-checkout. I encountered a problem, and when I looked for assistance from the self-checkout attendant, they were nowhere to be found. It took an uncomfortably long time for the attendant to return, causing an unnecessary delay in my shopping process.Since the Lucky Supermarket near my house closed down, I have been visiting this location infrequently. While I appreciate the convenience of having a nearby supermarket, these recent experiences have left me questioning whether it's worth the occasional visit. Hopefully, the store can address these issues to provide a more consistent and satisfying shopping experience for customers like me.

This Lucky is our last resort if we need to pick up something in a hurry. I’ve had bad experiences with expired products on the shelf and a lack of variety. We can rely on it for certain items and in a pinch which is why I’m generously giving three stars. They have self checkout now which goes tremendously faster than waiting in line.

Never really thought I would have a complaint at this store, but today changed that. I do Instacart here often, and when I use self check out it's sucks that you have to wait for somebody to show up to give you a bag when you're done. Every other retail store I go to the bags are there right next to the cash register you bag stuff up and then you pay for however many bags you needed. At this store it's like you're playing the guessing game you have to guess that you're going to need two bags or one bag and by the time you start the bag everything up you realize you may need another one by that time you've already paid.Today I asked for one bag I paid for one bag and I realized that the customer I have for Instacart has an apartment on the fifth floor which means I will need to carry the gallon water bottles that I have one by one and the bag of groceries which is very difficult. So to make it easier. I asked for a second bag so I could put the gallon water bottles in to make my trip easier. The lady looked directly at me and said sure do you have $.10 I said no I do not. She said OK well they're $.10 each and she put the bag back under the cash register and I just looked at her like you've got to be kidding me you're haggling me over $.10 what happened to just being a good neighborhood Shopping Center and helping someone who made a simple mistake?I should have known because she haggled the gentleman who was at the cash register right next to me for not guessing the right amount of bags that he was going to need for his groceries either. It's absolutely embarrassing for someone to not work with their customers. And if she is not going to have a better attitude than maybe you guys should think about putting a bag rack next to each cash register so we can bag our stuff and then pay for the amount of bags that we have instead of guessing.

Poor costumer service, they don't have idea how to treat the costumers, specially if you are Hispanic they don't treat you well at the counter in specific Zulma , she even don't ask if I a want a plastic bag for my items Not polite

I can’t get bags to bag and check out at the same time, I need to guess how many bags I gona use before check out and then after check out they give you the bags, that’s is why the self check out always have a giant line.

Hands down one of the nicest Lucky stores. It’s a large store (compared to the closed one on Landess). Lots of variety, very clean and well stocked. Staff is very friendly. Lots of parking available. Lines can get long during peak times but they recently added self check out lanes which is a plus.

Just the absolute worst Supermarket I have ever been to in my entire life.The staff are constantly pre-occupied with talking to everyone rather than pay attention to their job, the coupon codes DO NOT work, and the prices are the highest in the bay area.Everytime I have given this "market" my time or my money, they have whole heartedly dissappointed.They do not have a large selection, and they do not have specialty foods/items of any kind. They "deals" they claim are matching other stores prices on the same items.For example a recent deal where you HAVE to download their app, and register an account only gives you $0.10 cents diff compared to HMART on RibEye per LB (7.89 vs 7.99) only the HMART quality is leaps and bounds in a different category.This is ofcourse if the app even is recognized at the register. We were told to come back and try again as the App and the register may not be synced but the display at the item says, "Use this QR code to download the App and Register to get the coupon"I will not patronize this store again, I am so beyond infuriated at the fact we were not just charged for items we didn't have (she didn't count but assumed) but they would not honor their own coupons on items even though we had registered, downloaded the app, and shown the phone with coupon on screen to the register.Service is Slow, and poor qualityItems are old, and not freshly stockedRefrigerated meats are barely cold enough from open displays to be considered to be stored at proper temps,Coupons not honoredForces you to register your personal information to get a coupon.Coupons only meet other stores normal non registered prices.

Bakery and meat department horribly customer service I asked for a chicken sandwich she looked at me like we dnt make sandwiches back here so I buy the 4 pc chicken I get back to my truck the chicken is cold like cooked last night cold I will never shop here again smh

I think the staff needs a refresher in customer service. When I went to check out today, I was completely ignored by the cashier. Not a single word was said to me from start to finish. Unfortunately, this happens more often than not when we shop at this store.Customers want to be acknowledged and appreciated. We have so many other choices where we can spend our hard earned money, but we want to support our neighborhood stores. I know I'm just one customer but your staff has to do better if you want to continue to have my business.

Hey neighbors,whatever you do don't ask the meat department to cut some steaks for you.I told the butcher I didn't like the pre cut steaks and asked him to cut me some. After along wait, he tossed the steaks at me saying, "ya happy now?"There is a brand new safeway by the flea market. Spend your money there.Always well stocked , always clean and the employees are always kind and professional.

I always come here because I live nearby! They have everything that I usually look for! All the employees are nice and they know me from shopping there all the time! If I can't find something, they usually go to the back and try to find what I need, if they have it. Sometimes, I try to find the extreme hot cheetos, and the employee would tell me when the next shipment would come! It's definitely my go-to supermarket.
