This place is not as bad as other "Yelpers" are making it to be, however this place can use a slight face-lift. It's not necessarily a place to do your full blown shopping. Items that are "popular" to the so called American customers and not so much to the Brown Indigenous (Native American/Mexican,etc) yes those items will obviously be outdated. I mainly go there for the queso fresco Mexicano and purple corn tortilla and at times I get other items that are likely to be in high demand GET IT. For example I won't go to an "Asian" market to look for tortilla or Tapatio hot sauce WHY because I know at that particular store it's not in HIGH DEMAND!!!!

Tried going today to buy meat for a barbecue we are having for about 25 people and the manager confronted me at the door and let us know that our service dog was not welcome in their store even though I told her it was a service dog she said I need to take him out and put a service dog vest on him. If she is going to be the manager and deal with the public she really needs to learn the California laws And disability act

La tienda en general está bien. Las cajeras amables. Pero el señor de la carnicería es un asco. Aparte de andar siempre de mal genio todavía atiende con los guantes como los traiga. Anda limpiando? No hay problema, hay va nuestra carne con ese mismo guante. Anda cortando carne? No hay problema, hay le va su queso con el mismo guante. Una más y meteré un reporte con salubridad. Si no le gusta su trabajo búsquese otro.

Rotting, stinking brown meat and vegetables! Don't be tempted by ad prices; you will leave the store once you see what they are trying to sell. I'd only recommend going here if you need dry goods from Mexico and a few Central American products at moderate prices.
