The business is mainly for contractors. They are close in the weekend and close early on weekdays. If you are looking for iron doors, there are very limited choices.

Ryan and Kim, thank you for your estimate I "got" from you after I kept sending the emails (over month) with the request get the estimate but no answer and no estimate. I almost lose my customer because of your unresponsive job. I will never do the business with you again. BTW, I got the estimate (detailed estimate) from other reliable company in SJ, after I gave up with you.

These guys custom built me a perfect fire door. Just the shaker style my wife wanted. It was cheaper than other places and hand built in only six days.

Lou's doors is the best place in the bay area to get all your interior and exterior doors.I asked around a few places and Lou's had the best price.They are prompt with their service and delivery and my wife and I had an excellent experience with them (Thanks Pat!).Advice to greenhorns (like us): Please make sure you go over the purchase order thoroughly before proceeding with the order.We overlooked that we had decided to change the closet doors from sliding to swinging, but agreed to the order with the earlier quote.Even though it was a slip up, since Pat had verbally agreed (not written!) to make the change, he went ahead and changed those for us.Excellent service with great price, couldn't ask for more. Good luck with your project!

Terrible Service, Terrible plp. The worst experience I have.. You can go to contractor's warehouse. Much better price, much better service. No one should deal with them

Ryan is the worst person to ask to do a job. He says he is doing it and never comes through with what you need. They need to fire him and get someone that puts customers first.

We ordered doors and door frames from them numerous times and each time the door frame was incorrect. The back and forth delayed our project by more than 6 months. The salesman Ryan over promised on delivery dates and under delivered in almost all the cases. We had to keep calling him for updates although he always promised to call us back but never did. There is always an excuse as to why the door frame didn’t arrive and if they did arrive, no explanation on why the wrong frame was delivered. Very frustrating experience.

We had a great experience working with Lou's! Kim works so quickly so she was able to get a quote for us when we dropped by their showroom. They are extremely responsive, so it easy ask questions for suggestions and coordinate delivery. They are not the cheapest, but out of all the doors we looked at, I think it's the best value for the quality we got.

Small showroom with doors and locks but good service. Price is reasonable and low lead time. Got the doors ordered, waiting for delivery now.
