I’ve worked with Better Bookkeepers for many years. They are always helpful if I have a question about the best way to process book keeping entry. They also ask questions about journal entries and transactions if something is not clear to ensure your books are done correctly. I highly recommend their services.

Linda is such a pleasure to work with. To be honest, I waited longer than I should have to get my books in order, and I was afraid the process would be overwhelming for a novice like myself. Linda walked me through the process, taught me the tools, outlined the basics of accounting, and when we came across problems or things I forgot to do, she dug in and tag-teamed the work with me. Linda is both a knowledgable expert and a patient teacher. You can't ask for better bookkeeper.

Linda is wonderful. She knows exactly what she is doing, and she will teach you along the way if you wish. I have worked with her for two years now, and she has been responsive, helpful, and efficient all at the same time. As a small business owner in the middle of the pandemic, I ran into several obstacles that she helped me with. She even came into the office beyond her normal hours to help me. I highly recommend her for your bookkeeping needs! In addition, her staff is friendly and prompt with communication. Wonderful all around.

Linda is a fantastic teacher; she is quick, accurate, thorough, and helped with years of erroneous bookkeeping entries. We spent only an hour on Zoom, and done. Even better, she taught me enough to feel secure going forward entirely on my own.

Running a new, small business is consuming enough, but having to deal with the fiscal side of things can be daunting. Add to that the specific financial nuances of a custom car building business and it becomes too much. BB to the rescue. We tried a few others but didn't get to where we wanted to be. In the very first couple of meetings we established a framework for the way we do business (not shoe-horning us into a mold) Our business was/is up and running smoothly. We then decided to contract BB to do our books and we couldn't be happier. We have someone that knows accounting, software ... and our business, and is there to answer any and all questions as they come. Outstanding service!!

I am extremely upset at their lack of service. I called their office on Thursday May 14th to book a consultation appointment for bookkeeping services. I booked the appointment for Tuesday May 19th at 1:30 pm. I also received a confirmation call Tuesday morning, and I responded that I am attending When I did not get any call till 1:35 pm, I called their office and was told Linda would call me within 10 mins, as she went overtime on a previous call. I never received a call. I called them back two times, and now they stopped picking up. I waited over an hour, wasted my time and my partner's time. During these tough times, I wanted a reliable bookkeeper. But I am not sure if I can trust their services, if they cannot do a task as simple as keeping an appointment. Or even bother to inform the client they can't make it. Horrible reliability, stay away! UPDATE: I will now give negative stars if possible. After I posted this review, I got a call in minutes, which went to my voicemail. Louisa was the one who left it, and she told me that they are currently understaffed in the office and were so busy with phone calls and clients that they didn't get the time to call me. She offered to rebook for another day. Mind you, the voicemail came at 2:36 pm, after I posted the review. Still, giving them a benefit of doubt, I called their office back, and Louisa picked up. She got right down to let us book the appointment, and when I tried to complain about their unprofessional behavior (and that they should have told me before our meeting that they were too busy that day), she told me that I was being unprofessional and rude by calling her and then having the audacity to complain..... She practically said that since they had left an voicemail where they apologized, it should be more than enough of an apology for me. I can take it or leave it and not waste her time. And when I told her I don't want to book an appointment, she hung up on me. I am extremely thankful that this happened before I hired these people and not after. If this is their attitude with potential clients, god knows what would happen once you sign them up.

I have been using Linda Rost's Better Bookkeepers for over 5 months now and I am not only extremely satisfied, but i'm impressed with the level of knowledge, professionalism and experience they have. I received my books promptly after the priors month close out, which i never had with any other bookkeepers. Deanna, Luisa and Linda have been a ginormous help to our books and assisting us in understanding our businesses incoming and outgoing income and expenses better. They are extremely responsive ( which is important as a business owner ). I would HIGHLY recommend Linda Rost's Bookkeeping services.
