We went there on the recommendation of a high end Los Gatos builder. He said he only used them on houses up to 3 million. The cabinets are all plywood boxes, no particle board. The drawers are dove tailed and all have soft close drawers and doors. Their prices were simply stunning. We ordered a complete kitchen and bathroom cabinets. It included granite counters and we bought the under mount sinks from them. We waiting 3 weeks for the installers. They showed up on Thursday at 7.00 am. They did the complete demo. And then they started the building. Their craftsman ship was top notch. They were real pros. They were perfect. On Friday they completed the cabinet install and then they started on the counters. By 8.00 pm Friday, they were done. Stunning!!!! They cleaned up, didn't make a mess and worked so hard. These guys like to eat, which means they have no problem working hard. If you want to waited on hand and foot, this place ain't for you. If you know what you want - this is the place for you. It is obvious they aren't a 100-200k kitchen service kind of place. Considering my entire job was 5-10% of a 200k kitchen, I don't care.

price is good comparing to other place. cabinets is good but not sure other place is better but customer service is really bad in design and communication, instead of explanation as other place like Home Depot ... they just say I am just designer, not contractor with cold and raised voice.

Good customer service, quality of work of their contractors and reasonable prices compare to other places in Bay Area. Sam was great and patience with us when we got our kitchen remodeled couple months ago. There were minor concerns with range hood but we were able to get it fixed by other contractor. We bought counter top, cabinets, sink and range hood all in good price. Sam did a drawing making more visual and easy to understand. Their contractor came and did the measurements. Once cabinets arrived, contractor completed the job in less than two days. They did amazing work! Doing review after couple months just to make sure the product quality and installation was as good as it visual looks and it is! I recommend them and happy with our kitchen.

There are many other similar stores around the same area, go to others instead of Kingway. Even though their prices may appear a bit cheaper, you may regret it later. The people at the front counter primarily focused to get you to pay for their sales commission. They sold me a bathroom quartz counter top and cabinet as a bundle. but they never informed me that modification of the cabinet top drawer is required in order to complete the installation. You would only find out this problem when you paid the bundle and try to install, only to find out the top drawer is hitting the sink underneath. It is required to cut away the top drawer in order to complete the installation. They are ***not being honest*** in their questionable selling practices and you are out of luck once you paid for the purchase.

I am surprised by the low ratings for Kingway because I had a great experience with them. I bought new kitchen counters and vanity tops for a rental unit. I wanted durable engineered quartz and didn't feel like paying luxury prices. I got exactly what I wanted and more. I brought a floorplan of my project and the staff provided me with an estimate after I picked out the quartz I wanted and were very clear about the installation process. They also had good deals on sinks, so I bought them here instead of going to Home Depot. The thing about this place is that even though they have a showroom, they don't have tons of sales staff, so you have to be patient sometimes to get your questions answered. If you want to have your hand held, you should go to one of the big kitchen/bath showrooms in San Jose, but you pay for that part of the experience in the final price. If you want good materials at a fair price, go to Kingway.

I live in Orange County, but the kitchen project was in Milpitas, CA at my elderly mother's home. Sam coordinated the project so that it was done on-time, on-budget with a minimum of travel for me. He also suggested changes that improved the counter design and use of materials.We are very happy with the finished work, especially my mother who likes spending time in the kitchen!

Worst experience of my lifetime thus far. Communication was absolutely horrible from the sales reps, they did not state that the demolition had to be done or needed to be paid for separately neither did they state that the sink we were purchasing didn't come with the faucet. We were not told how much cabinet space we were losing because the person they sent out to do measurements did a crap job and we lost a ton of space in length and depth. The contractor that did the work was great very accommodating for the bad communication and really did everything he could to make up for the terribleness we experienced. I would not recommend this place unless you are going in with knowledge of everything wanted and needed and your own measurements.

Great place to get your kitchen designed, they do 3d drawings for you and have plenty of options for a decent kitchen as well as bathrooms
