“I decided to purchase myself a right-handed ring for my upcoming 40th birthday. I ended up falling in love with a ring online that was from an overseas merchant. I took the gamble, made the purchase, and received the ring a few weeks later. I wanted to get the ring appraised and insured, so I searched for the best jeweler in my area, and Willow Glen Diamond Company came up almost immediately. I read their reviews and was particularly swayed by another lady writing about how she had purchased a ring online from overseas, and it ended up not being what she agreed to purchase (my nightmare). However, she mentioned that the gemologist at Willow Glen Diamond Company not only identified what was wrong with the purchase but that the gemologist even helped her draft a letter to write to her credit card company to help dispute the charge. I feel you don't get customer service like that anywhere anymore. And, I was also eager not to feel like an idiot if I ended up buying a ring made of glass instead of the gemstone I wanted, so I went to the Willow Glen Diamond Company to get an appraisal. Terri the gemologist helped me, and she was extremely informative and pleasant. She put my mind at ease by telling me that I (in fact) did not purchase a glass ring. However, she did inform me that there were a few inconsistencies with the grade of the diamonds that the gemstone was set in, and also there was a prong issue on one of the sides that would need repair before I wore it. She even asked me before she told me her critiques... "Do you want me to be picky?" -- I said, "Yes, please!!" Again, I feel you don't even get offered that level of customer service anymore, anywhere. After her initial review of my ring, Terri told me that I should be able to get a bit of money off of what I originally paid and I took that up with the merchant. The merchant was agreeable after I provided them with the information Terri gave me, and after a bit of back and forth, I got an additional 15% taken off the price I paid for the ring. After the cost of the ring was settled with the merchant, I went back to Willow Glen Diamond Company, to submit the ring for an appraisal, and the repair on the prong. I just got the ring back today and everything about my experience was excellent. They provided me with the formal appraisal, the prong was seamlessly fixed, and Terri even helped me find a company to get insurance for it. I really cannot express how pleasant this experience was for me, considering how over my head I was purchasing such a costly piece of jewelry, and how nervous I was to go through these dealings with a fine jewelry establishment. Needless to say, I highly recommend taking any of your jewelry needs to Willow Glen Diamond Company. They are fantastic. Like, so fantastic, I didn't even think this level of customer service existed anymore before I did my business here. Thank you to Terri, and the team at Willow Glen Diamond Company!”

Erik advised I change up how I clean it and after about a few months it's just about fully healed now. I returned recently to get my septum pierced and it was a great experience.
