Corporate trained employees SUCK. I have bought and sold many vehicles in the last 15 years that I have known Keith and Tammy previous managers. Friday I brought in a battery that AAA tested in my Honda and said the battery had a bad cell and was no good because we tried charging it. The counter person at Interstate batteries said this is now a corporate owned store and we have to put it on a slow charge all nite then we will test It or you can buy a new one we don't operate like the previous managers. Today, tuesday I tried calling but no answer and couldn't leave a message. I thought they were just to busy so the wife went to pick up the battery and saw a sign on the door closed for inventory. That did it with the extra $10 added to a new battery and hearing about corporate from these know nothing kids putting down Keith And Tammy I'm done with them and will be sharing the bad experience i had with everyone I have sent there over the years. There is a guy that sells Delco batteries on the other side of Monterey road I herd he even has used batteries

This place has terrible customer service! The lady who answered asked if I could be placed on a hold twice and hung up on me twice. If you do not know how to use your phone you may think about asking the questions to a co worker on how! When the customer tells you for the third time " I just have a quick question!" that is a simple yes or no answer and they you click over and place someone on hold while they are still talking and telling you that you have been making a mistake is extremely rude! Terrible service, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! IT'S CHEAPER ANYWAYS!

I bought a new battery a few months ago, the battery stop working at some point, I took it to the store at Phelan st in San José .I was surprised that they haven't honored the warranty right away they said that they need 3 days to test and recharge the battery in order to decide if they will replace it or just recharge it, what the help they think? I need to use my truck every day.I left my battery and after 5 day they haven't called me yet, I tried to call them and they put me on hold and never pick up the phone.I have to stop by tomorrow and see what they say.Don't buy here!

Customer Service is pretty good, tends to be a littke busy so there might be a short wait—but definitely worth it.The Interstate battery in my car lasted 7 years before needing to be replaced—with a battery life like that, I had to go with Interstate again?

Tammy and Keith are great, company policies/willingness to work with a customer are not! Go to Burlingame, they are reasonable and willing to work with their customers (both corporate store, go figure ...).

They take forever to charge batteries (2-3days) and then lag on calling you to update.

The folks here really helped me out with getting a battery warranty'd after mine stopped working properly. I bought the battery through Napa who no longer carries/warrenties this brand of battery, which I why I came to this factory store to get it warrantied through them. They kept it overnight to charge it up all the way so it could be properly tested (as is protocol, if you check the company website they say the same thing) and held onto it until I could come a few days later to pick up a new battery. They had a staff member carry it out to my car too! I did call ahead of time to check and see the status of my battery, they let me know when the battery shipment was arriving with my new battery (later that afternoon) and were patient with me coming a few days later. They are very busy, but when calling there was only a minute or 2 of wait time and some checking in, but that's to be expected when dealing with a battery supplier store, they've got a lot of merchandise and customer batteries to deal with so there's a lot of things to look through. Since I called on separate days and they had to find/pull my battery out, so they took my info to know what they were looking for, and had me call 15 minutes later so I wasn't sitting on hold while they looked. The woman at the front was very nice, along with her husband, and the young gentleman who works in the front. All in all 5 stars across the board! Remember to be patient when dealing with human beings in your day to day, be clear with your communication and let them know when you're coming by for pick up when confirming that you're getting a new battery, they will take good care of you!
