First time having Ike’s and was impressed. The sandwich was really good and it was a big portion for the price.

It was the night after the super-bowl. Darn it, the niners didn’t quite win! But I still felt proud to eat an Ike’s “The 49er” sandwich!Rob was making sandwiches that night, and he did a great job. My friends had a “Madison Bumgarner” and a “Sometimes I’m a vegetarian”, and all of our sandwiches were delicious!

I firmly believe that outside of the VERY FEW italian delis in the bay area that could serve you a Godfather style (cured meats, salad with oil/vinegar) sandwich. We were eating dogfood with sticks and leaves, in the stone age. Ike S took something we all take for granted and eat with zero love or care for ingredients. He made a wonderful brand with identity and we all benefit from it. The sandwiches have perfect ratio, the sauce is superb, and everything is fresh and warm. Matt Cain is my go to and yes other sandwiches do have more meat but considering the real estate cost of being in upscale neighborhoods in prime locations this is the best most consistent easily identifiable sandwich you can get from a chain with multiple locations in major cities without breaking the $20 mark like in SF. In short, these are rich people sandwiches AND they taste like it. Best part of your weeks lunch regimen.

This Ike's location is awesome especially being on the shopping strip. I've come here a few times but never gave it a review. I came back a few days ago for lunch and ordered a sandwich that was only in the Palo Alto location; The Fred Savage which has tuna, avo, and American cheese. I love adding the dirty sauce on Dutch Crunch. This is my go-to!They have seating and 2 bathrooms which is a plus! I also love their fountain soda machine and iced teas section. This is a great Ike's location if you're in the West San Jose side. I will definitely be coming back!

A very average sandwich place. The sandwich bread was not fresh and very little meat.

If you are looking for something nice to eat but costs less than others, Ikes is your place to go. This review is many months overdue because when I last come here, I was working a seasonal job at Tesla. While I am not big on the sandwiches for this location, if you want chips and/or good drinks this location is the way to go. I got some nice juices here when I forget to bring a beverage during my lunch hour and this place does the trick real nice. The drinks smelled nice and was worth the price. Chips bought here are really nice too because they have an interesting taste. I recommend the NOLA style chips because they do make me happy. Staff who work here are very friendly too. If you are still the sandwich guy or girl, get the Steph Curry. Bellissima. I would come here again if I can.

Great sandwiches. I thought it would feel heavy and like junk food but it was actually very good. One of the best sandwiches around

I came in for lunch, ordered a sandwich, they told me upfront there's no lettuce, so I said just give me the other vegetables (like tomatoes, and onions) they gave me the sandwich with only 2 tomatoes, no onions, I told the guy and he says they will remake it. So I'm about to eat the sandwich, the 2nd sandwich, and all she did was put more pickles and banana peppers and jalapeños, also didn't have one onion in there! I paid $15 for a sandwich that was so flat! It's sad bc I used to like coming here and now this place went downhill! It was terrible! I won't be coming here anymore!

I've always enjoyed Ike's - and experiences and food tend to be good at all locations. But this is the 3rd weekend attempt in the last number of months that I've specifically visited for the weekend special, the B52 (sandwich with Mac and Cheese), only to have the cashier look over their shoulder and tell me the same thing each and every time: we're out of Mac. It's such a minor yet frustrating experience. Please, if it's not profitable or efficient, just take it off the daily specials menu. Even when there an hour into opening, always told the same thing. It may seem silly, but is always such an added let-down to show up and still see it offered, only to be told no, it's not. If you're coming by for a daily special, best not to plan for it to be available. Otherwise, a fine experience.

I’ve been to at least 5 Ike’s locations in the Bay, and I have to say my food from this one was *awful* compared to other Ike’s. Sandwiches were very dry and poorly constructed, and desserts were stale. I cannot emphasize how subpar this location was. If you’ve never been to Ike’s before, DON’T go to this location!! To Ike’s: I love that you hire younger age groups, but teach them to perform with consistency and professionalism.

Solid sandwiches. Love the dutch crunch bread, and the gluten free bread was good too. Gf sandwich was small compared to the one on Dutch crunch bread, but both were tasty. My 2yo even liked the Panda Panda Panda chicken. No baby changing station in either bathroom though.Kid-friendliness: High chairs- yes. Changing station in bathrooms- no.Parking: Free parking garage right across the street. Very convenient, plenty of spots at lunchtime on a Sunday.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread was good! Didn't fall apart while eating it.
