We had the pleasure of consulting and working with Helen Zheng, who exhibited remarkable patience and helpfulness throughout our tax filing process. She went above and beyond by staying late to address all of our questions and offering invaluable insights and assistance with our state return. I would definitely come back for our next tax return.

My tax preparer did not follow through on appointments; was clearly overworked and overwhelmed. She asked for files multiple times that I had sent to her (and then denied having received them), and I am dubious as to the outcome of the return. I hate paying for something I'm legally required to do and lack the knowledge to do myself; this experience motivates me to learn so that I don't have to go through this again. Ugh! What a nightmare!

Horrible experience. Be aware that using their services might cost you a lot of money and more importantly your valuable time. My first appointment was lengthy and I it was obvious that the representative was not prepared for our tax needs. Our representative graciously asked her peers and tried her best but she made a couple of mistakes. I had to do my own research and I was about to give up when the representative called to let me know that she made a mistake and was going to fix it. When I finally got a response to my appointment requests I was send to Sunnyvale since she was not available in Saratoga anymore. Once in Sunnyvale the experience was even worse, the representative there tried "fixing" my situation and answering my questions with Google searches from random sites. At some point I had to suggested her to use the IRS website. She couldn't untangle the information ?. I ended up paying them almost $500, investing about 5 hours of my time , and having to use other services to file my taxes ($200 more). I am deeply disappointed and I regret choosing H&R for my tax needs.

Been going to this tax preparation services office for many years. Excellence in their services and their qualified staff. If you have any issues, they are always here to help. Very knowledgeable about all of your tax issues and questions. They get back to you promptly when you call and leave a message for your tax preparer. When you do call, the receptionist is always helpful and kind to make your appointment and to answer questions about this tax service. I would not go anywhere else. Their price to do your tax preparation is very reasonable for the amount of time and care that goes into your tax preparation. There is ample parking here and some handicapped spots. The office is very clean, nice and comfortable. They make you feel welcome here for sure.

Had an appt today with Zina who was fantastic however, the amount I had to pay for my taxes left me shell-shocked. $240.00!I don't own real estate, do not have any dependents, make less than $60k a year, do not own a home (but with that you can get tax right offs), and do not have multiple investments. Was told they charge per form you have. Utterly ridiculous! Way too expensive, but was caught between a rock and a hard place. Could not file an extension and could not do for free as did not want to mess it up. You win some and you definitely lose some, in this case about $151.00. I would have paid $89.00- think that's about right.

I'm sure that, in terms of expertise, their staff is well equipped; however, I just had a poor experience with them. I scheduled a 30 minute appointment and joined 10 min earlier. 15 minutes into the appointment, the tax advisor appointed to me still had not joined our video call. I ended up calling the office and wasn't able to connect with the advisor until there was only 10 minutes left. She also asked if we could "just continue the meeting on the phone" I had called since she "had a 2pm", which was frustrating since I myself had a 2pm meeting and just lost 20 minutes of my own work day. I was really disappointed because I was excited to find an advisor that I could meet with in person. My search continues.
