I am a single mother filing for just me and they charged me $500 for the clerk to fill in the blanks and ask questions. I will not be returning for this. Absolutely ridiculous. Missing some of my refund and doing it myself is still cheaper then paying for this.

I have been going to h&r block for over a decade for all my tax needs. things have become more complicated over the years and h&r block never disappoints. I have been working with Matt Larson for years now in the San jose area and he has been an excellent preparer and consultant for all of my tax needs. I highly recommend his services.

Valerie did an amazing job. Everything went smooth, quick, and completely pain-free from my end. I had a few questions, which Valerie was able to answer. Overall the experience felt personal rather than other services where you're not sure who's on the other end.

I wish I could give zero stars. Your "top tax expert" was entirely unhelpful and left us high and dry for 4 months while working on an incredible time sensitive issue. We kept begging her for help, but she treated us like we were an annoying gnat buzzing in her ear. She kept giving us empty promise after empty promise. She would sigh after saying I am calling to check in on my issue. Seemed emotionless and unbothered that we required immediate help, then leaves for significant sums of time. Unreturned calls kept happening so we had to chase her down to get any answers about our status. She eventually stopped responding to our messages. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
