I cannot seem to get a call back. Roberto Molina did my mother’s taxes last year. I left a message for Roberto on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and earlier today, then called again today and was told to schedule a phone appointment, so I did for today at 5:45pm. No call, so I called at 6:05pm. “He’s running behind and will call you in ten minutes”. 35 minutes later, no call, so I call back at 6:40pm. “He’s still with a client. He’ll call you back shortly.” “You close at 7pm, right?” “Yes, but he will not leave the office until he calls you”. Now 8:57pm and no call. My mom was recently diagnosed with Dementia and I’m just trying to get answers on her 2022 taxes. Horrible service. I live three hours away and I’m about to drive to San Jose to wait outside their door for when they open tomorrow. I realize it’s tax season and everyone is busy, but I’m also busy and my mom paid for a service/guarantee that Roberto is NOT living up to.

Great service and very easy and quick online filing. The tax pro Roberto Molina at Alum Rock office is awesome. I will keep filing with Hr block at least till Roberto is there.

H&R Block Charges You So Much Money To Do Your Taxes. That’s Why I Like To Go W People That Own Their Own Business. The Man That Helped Was Very Slow and Didn’t Look Like He Knew What He Was Doing. Other Worker Was Talking On The Phone Her Whole Shift Very Unprofessional!

Very frustrating. Was an easy experience to at least TRY to get the ITIN. But then it came back/was denied for an unknown reason, and there's no way to get back in touch with the office since it's now closed until next tax season. No way to get back in touch with Frances. Not her fault, per se...but H&R Block's system is TERRIBLE. Horrible organization. Get passed around between customer service reps that don't know what they're doing. Finally get to a "main office" on Capital Rd., and they tell me they'll call back. They call, but the person calling me has no idea what an ITIN is or how to help...of course, I had said the reason for the call when setting it up. So someone who knows what they're doing would be good to call back. Anyway, then someone said they'd call 4-7 PM. I waited, no call. Tried again, no call the next day. I called back to set up a third appointment, still no call at the appointment time. Like...what do you have to do to get service/help around here? Does anyone keep an appointment? And they have no way to connect me to the accountant that helped us previously still? That would be the easiest, but nope. No one has a clue. Such a waste of time. We thought H&R would be good for something simple. But we'll stick with a real firm next time. People get sucked into this, and it's honestly sad. Their prices aren't even that good for filings...just get a real accountant and stick to it. Last time I'll be burned by this.

I went in to this H&R and Ken Chan prepared my taxes, it was easy. Ken really provided great customer service and prepared my taxes quite rapidly turn around time was one day. I would go with Ken if you go into this office.
