I bought a refrigerator a month ago. It was delivered upon looking at it, I realized it was not the one I ordered. It so had a small dent on the front of the panel. I went to the store on Story Rd to tell th I got one that I did not order They sent me a cheaper one. They said a supervisor was going to Call me. No one ever did. I went back a week later, they said they couldn't do anything since their return policy was a three day window. I paid for a higher end refrigerator but received a lower quality refrigerator with a dent.

The most unhelpful staff at a Home Depot. 85% of the time they don't know where you can find their products.

Horrible . My husband has gone back 3 times now to buy lumber. Each time their isle is closed with no one stocking or doing anything . I dont understand how people are supposed to get what they need when you have isles closed and your workers not working the isle. Will be giving our business to lowes going foward

I stopped off here on the way back home from a hike to pick up some batteries and some other stuff. They were very busy on a Saturday afternoon. I was not expecting it but the staff was super friendly and helpful...the two people who helped me find what I was looking for and the nice lady at the checkout. Well done team, keep it up!

The most disorganized, dirty Home Depot I've even been to. The staff is hardly available to assist the customer, some have a very poor & condescending attitude when asked for help. I would not recommend anyone to visit this store.

Home Depot is one of those companies that has slipped on quality and service over the last 15-20 years I would say. This story road place is no different. One of the trashiest Home Depots there is. Custom order was shipped, took 2 weeks to arrive for our customer. It arrived damaged, we sent it back to be replaced. Now, two weeks later, Home Depot just REBOXED THE SAME DAMAGED ITEM IN THE SAME ORIGINAL SHIPPING BOX -- Plus added 1 more larger dent in the item and just double taped the torn original box and shipped it back to us... So, over 1 month and our customer still will not have their item to be installed by us. Thanks for making our very professional business seem like a circus! Your high prices should not reflect such low quality services. But let's be real, Home Depot coorporate will never read this and will never care. Just warning others from any special order BS from this company. They are obviously liars and cheats.

This store needs more employees. They are overworked and can't even stay in their own department because there is so little help

This store is an absolute menace. This incident occurred on 22 July 2021, and I have yet to hear back from Home Depot. I am in significant and increasing pain. Today is Wednesday, 2 December 2021. My wife and I went to this Home Depot because my mom lives up in Alum Rock and we just remodeled our house; and I noticed we had no houseplants. We found quite a few houseplants we liked at other stores (Lowes & Payless Rockery Nursery). The one thing I could not find, that I really liked was pots. I know Home Depot usually has a decent selection. We went in through the houseplant enclosure. No pots, but 2 wall hangers, some cork stands for under the pot, and a couple more plants, yet no pots I liked. But I knew there were many more on the aisle next to the outdoor plants, especially the side that faces the outdoor plants and then more right around the corner on the inside of aisle. It's important to know that I am disabled, 4 failed back surgeries, DVT's stents in both legs, walk with a cane and have a service dog. It's safe to say I'm high maintenance. When we turned the corner, we were stunned to see the entire length of the aisle that had gardening items had been filled, from end to end, 2 pallets wide, with, what we later found out was a new shipment. The gates were NOT up. There was only about 2 feet on each side of this mound of new shipment on which you could walk. I went left because there were more things I was looking for on that side. At the very end of the left side of that aisle, pushed up against the aisle was a large, sticking out about 3 1/3-4 feet right up against aisle's front. The 2 double wide sets of palettes before the final palettes , first were Webber grills stacked about 7-7 1/2 feet high. This made it hard to see beyond them. Then there were doors on lumber carts. I could not tell what the final palettes had on them. I VERY SOON found out in a VERY PAINFUL way. The 2 palettes were stacked with shovels that reached no higher than 2 1/2 feet off the ground. They were wrapped in plastic shipping wrapping wrap. Maybe 8-10 per pack. Keep in mind the Rose Fungus display was right there. I also didn't know that the shovels, which I did NOT SEE, narrowed the available walking path so much so that a shopping cart could not fit through. I collided, FULL STRIDE, with one of the bunches of shovels. Baring in Ming I need to walk with a cane and service dog, by some Hand of God Miracle, I did not fly over the shovels. But I hit my Right Shin, intensely hard. As you may know, Newton's First Law of Motion says that an object at rest tends to stay at rest: the 100+ shovels, conservatively coming in at 1,200 pounds; and an object in motion (ME) tends to stay in motion, with the same direction and speed (also ME). While I miraculously did not fall, the entire upper half of my body did, in fact, continue moving forward, at speed, passing through my waist, only stopping myself with my thighs. Keep in mind I've already had 4 FAILED BACK SURGERIES‼ They pain was a solid 10 out of 10. The garden manager came over to see what happened. I explained it to her, and given the severity of my pain, ask to speak with the Store Manager as soon as possible. We were sat in the patio section to wait for her. When she got there, she started filling out an Incident Report. I gave her every detail of what happened, my standing condition and the new pain I was experiencing. She told me that they had just received a shipment. She was disappointed that it wasn't put away. I told her, "disappointed? They left an entire, VERY DANGEROUS shipment out, FAILED TO CLOSE THE GATES TO THAT AISLE, leaving the remaining space in COMPLETE VIOLATION OF ADA GUIDELINES. This was Negligence of the highest order." She finished the paperwork and told me I should receive a call from Sedgwick within 48-72 hours. It was more than 4 days. I repeated what had happened. I told her I had already filled a complaint with the ADA and seen my Back Surgeon, who, after significant imagery, told me there was no disc

A simple thing like ordering a dishwasher I thought would be easy-going But on the day of the delivery nobody showed up. When I called the store they told me they mixed up the order with somebody else They haven't even got a record of me paying for it and asked me to send them a photocopy of the receipt before they would even investigate this Never use the east San Jose Home Depot store a completely sucks and is disorganized very disappointing

Worst Home Depot!!! I ordered a dishwasher on 10/23 delivery was free but I paid for installation. Twice we rejected the dishwasher because it was damaged out of the box! Gave them a chance to deliver for a third time but they never even called! I had to call them to ask when my dishwasher was going to be delivered and that was they told me to come for a refund! I came to get my refund 2 weeks after but they couldn't even give me the full refund!!! I have to come back again because "Whirlpool didn't tell us" Store Manager Luis and appliance manager Alena said. That's right 2 managers are needed to process a refund in this store!!!

It's much easier to just go buy the items at the store than order it only for pick up, it took three hours just to get the order ready and over half an hour kn the curbside pick up waiting for my item. All other stores with curbside pick up do a much better job than Home Depot. Just go to Lowe's next time if you need to.
