On 9/10 I bought 4 items ( pants) at H&M store in Westfield Oakridge mall. The guy rang the transaction but we wanted to add the fifth item( the belt). He said he will cancel the previous transaction ( cost 78.71$) and charged us 83.08$ for all 5 items. Two days later I saw there are 2 charges on my credit card 78.71$ & 83.08$. I called customer service and was told to go to the store. I went to the store and spoke to JB the manager. He said just wait for 2 days if it is still there come back on either Fri or Sat since he works to get the refund. On Friday. I called around 1:30 pm and spoke to a lady. She said he was not there and she can not tell me if he comes tomorrow due to privacy. I totally understand that but I live 20 min drive away so I need to know some how. I called Customer service again. The gentleman was really nice and helped me out. He put me on hold and talked to the store. He called back said either today or tomorrow I come back Michelle the manager will help me. After work I drove there and only 5 min before getting there I called the store to talk to Michelle. She said No she can not. She said only I can bring stuffs for refund. I tried to explain I don't want to return stuffs. I want to keep them. That is why I was charged for 83.08$. I just want a refund for 78.71$ since it is a duplicate. She said I have to appeal my bank for a refund. I asked if the store employees did the refund/ cancel the transaction correctly or not. If not then how can I ask the bank? She then said I have to wait for JB but she won't tell when he will be there or not. She even said I must have spoke to the guy around 1:30 pm because she just came later and didn't talk to me earlier. I was really disappointed in the customer service. She thought I can not tell the difference between female or male voice on the phone??? JB did offer to help me or gave me some solution while Michelle is also a manager but she didn't give me a solution. She kept saying she is the manager and that is how to do: I have to wait for JB or ask the bank for the refund. So again I just drove home and called customer service and the lady asked me to send an email and the picture of my CORRECT receipt. At the store JB & today Michelle kept asking for the INCORRECT one and I kept explaining the guy didn't give me the receipt of the canceled transaction. Fast forward. Nothing happened so I had to create a case at Wellsfargo bank. Twice - Once in Oct 5 and recently H&M emailed me to say they initiated the refund and it depends on the bank up to 10 days to give me the refund. I waited then forwarded the email to WF dispute center. Recently in Nov WF called me and said they did use that email to sent back to question H&M but H&M people kept saying that is invalid. So no refund. It has been back & forth like that since Sept. WF said they will dispute it with Visa & if nothing works after another 2 months then I will be responsible with the charge. I am very disappointed. I just wonder if at big business chain stores they have no record for a day. They should see the canceled transactions. Usually they do not give the cancellation receipts to the customers. That happened to me. I just know I won't ever shop at H&M anymore even I used to buy clothes for my teen daughter.

Bought a dress that was torn. Went to return it and one of the sales person told me that they couldn't take it back because they wouldn't be able to resell it. So I told them how is that my problem now I'm the one stuck with it. She told me to take it to another H&M maybe they wouldn't see it.
