Have been here several times on Sunday and you're closed! You should change the hours on your website if you're not open Sundays! I drive almost 30 minutes to come here!

If I shop here I'll by a Pendleton as a gift or for myself. I've never really bought anything else, but I bought this Carlos Santana hat about two years ago. It was a little big so I purchased hat tape so that it would fit me being that it was the only one on the shelf. When I got home and started admiring it I found two small cracks in the front on the crown of the hat. Rather than waste more time and explain to the owner I just ordered some patches from Amazon and fixed it. I was pretty disappointed that I spent over 100.00 on this and it was defective but figured oh well my fault for not inspecting it thoroughly and trusting the good reputation of this store. The other problem I have is the ink of the hat comes right off and leaves a black ring around my forehead on hot days. I decided to give it away at the next yard sale to the highest bidder. Now I'll be extra careful to inspect my hats before purchasing and not necessarily trusting the reputation of someone that's been around forever.

There is so much packed into this store. I went looking for Ben Davis and FB County and found both and so much more. I bought Ben Davis Shirts, FB County Charlie Brown Tube Top, Mary Janes with roses, a Summit Hat by Danny De La Paz even Debo House slippers. It was a great trip and reasonably price.

This Hammer & Lewis store is conveniently located in the neighborhood and in heart of the SJ...Renee is very good at what she does for the establishment. She cares for her customers and goes above and beyond for all those who come into the store. She calls her counterpart at the other Hammer & Lewis in Downtown SJ to find and secure items that may not be available at this location and reserves and has them sent to this location for the customers. She then follows up the next day by calling the customers to pick up the items. If the desired merchandise is not available at either store she will special/custom order online with her establishment affiliates overseas and get them delivered to this location at a designated date. She is wonderful and a pleasure to do business with. 5 STARS for Renee and this Hammer & Lewis location! ??"B"
