Definitely will cost you to come here, but how can you resist the cute things they have? They are 1 of 2 stores that sell dog cakes/treats and the other was closed on Mondays so I wasn't left with any other choices. I was grateful they waited for me a few minutes after closing. I made it quick and just grabbed a few things. I then made the mistake to ask if anything had peanut butter because my pup is allergic. Too bad for me, had to refund the cake and get something else for my Luna girl. They were accommodating but didn't say much. I am glad places like this exist! From collars to sports clothing, you can spend a lot of time in here browsing.

This is a really cute dog store in a really cute part of San Jose. They have the cutest collars of anywhere iv ever seen in person. Its also the place I discovered my favorite dog accessories brand. "Mimi green". They give treats to your dog when you come in and are very gentle sales people. Iv never felt pressured to buy anything, I just pick up little things I like. They also have this brand that has dog jerky, even in more hard to find meats such as venison. If your a dog person it's definitely worth stopping by for fun.

The boutique has lots of cute dog items. Many cupcakes, cakes and cookies of all sizes and designs for your fur baby. I purchased a birthday cupcake for my golden retriever and she gobbled it up so quick (expected) and absolutely loved every bite. They have plenty of leashes of every color and dog bandanas. I bought a cute polka dot pink that said Happy Birthday and a 49ers one. Will get lots of use in my household. Will come again for every birthday!

Let's talk customer service. I was shopping for a medium sized fleece. They were sold out so I was encouraged to pay and order one instead, which I did. Two things about the order bugged me: 1) limited color options; 2) wrong size, based on their size recommendation. I brought it home anyway. My dog wore his vest 3x before I noticed major unraveling of material occurring at the neck and arm. I brought the vest and my dog back to the store. To my surprise and dismay, the owner tells me, "Ya, no, we've honestly never seen this before!" She then saw my dog wearing a small linked correction collar and said..."that's gotta be it!" Maybe, but after only wearing the vest 3x? And even if the vest unraveled b/c of his collar, that doesn't account for the leg hole unraveling...AND how bout' warning customers that certain collars can damage vests? She told me to take a picture of it and send it into the company that made the vest even though they sell it! What a hassle. I had her take the picture and send it in, which she did and said she'd call me when she knew more. 3 weeks passed, so I called only to talk with one of the young sales girls who said that they're a small business and couldn't do anything about it. She said she'd have the store owner call me back, which was over a week ago.I don't normally write reviews of any kind, however, this is super frustrating. At this point, there is no acknowledgement, no support, no money back and no store credit. If Gussied Up Dog Boutique cannot be more supportive of their customers, they will not receive my support moving forward.

This was the cutest dog store I've been to. Yuna was greeted with treats and she had a blast sniffing for treats and toys she wanted. There's a great assortment of toys, treats, and accessories. I love that they have a birthday corner and a glass case for baked goods. Was bummed there weren't cakes during our visit, but understandable since we've had so much rain/stormy weather the past weeks. Instead, I was able to buy dog friendly cake mix and a bone mold to make our own cake! Yuna absolutely loved her birthday gifts and ate it so fast!

A little pricey but your fur baby is worth every cent. I come here every year to purchase my baby pooch's birthday cake. They're priced around $30-$40. They have tons of outfits for your pooches and amazing silly toys. This place would awesome make a great place to buy a gift for someone who loves their dog. It's located in downtown WG so it's worth stopping by when you're in the area.

The girl at the cashiers desk, literally passed a comment and smirked right under my nose, while I was buying a couple of things for my dog. I had a toddler running around so I wasn't really looking at this girl. But I wasn't d*** not to notice. In this world, we could all give each other a little respect and be kind. Just because of this experience I would never go here.

I could stay at this place forever and splurge on my dogs. We come here a few times a year for my dogs' birthday cake, treats, bandanas, and birthday hats. Seriously, everything is so darn cute! My dogs love all the treats, cupcakes, and cakes of course. The workers are also very helpful.

First time pet owner and first time visiting this boutique on 1/7 to purchase my puppy’s 1st bday goodies. I purchased a sweater ($37) and one of those Teck Summit 3M water repellent jackets ($98). Well I have a Frenchie and they didn’t fit him. I went in today 1/16 to return them and was informed I could get store credit. No where on the receipt does it specify their return policy nor their non-exiting website. The cashier pointed to a 4x6 frame with their return policy that’s to the side on their counter behind the greeting cards. After telling the cashier that their return policy is not evident and also wasn’t informed upon purchase of the items, she responded with, “we’ve had this policy for 19 years since we opened.” Well, that wouldn’t concern me if I’m a first time pet owner - now would it?! I’m now stuck with store credit. Horrible customer service!!

My pup absolutely loves this shop. He's a huge fan of the chicken disc treats. As soon as we're on the sidewalk in front of store, he starts pulling on his harness to make sure that I don't pass it by. Once we're inside, he heads straight for the table with his favorite "cookies". I have to open the bag outside of the store so he can have a treat before we go back to the car. I know he's super spoiled, but who can resist those puppy dog eyes while simultaneously using his jedi mind trick on me :-) He gets these at least twice a month. Although they aren't cheap, my baby is totally worth it and I get to support a local business during this crazy pandemic. Lastly, the employees are always super friendly which I truly appreciate. We'll be back again soon!

This store is definitely mine, my boyfriend and our dog, Bruno's, all time favorite dog store. We initially came to find our pup a birthday outfit, but found so much more stuff we wanted to get. We have been to many stores through out the Bay, but the people and items here are absolutely amazing. Their customer service is great and the stuff they sell is very cute and top of the line. We cannot wait to come back! We drove quite a way to get here and we would highly recommend it to anyone who has a dog (:
